Proposal and Development of E-commerce

This Bachelor‘s thesis is focused on the proposal and development of B2C e-commerce. The design and implementation itself are preceded by the definition of theoretical concepts that are closely related to e-commerce as a whole and the cyber threats. The work includes analyzes of the surrounding environment, evaluation of the technical solution, and proposals for protection against security threats.

Cybercrime: Concept, Detection and Prevention

This bachelor thesis deals with the concept of cybercrime. It begins with a description of the historical development of cybercrime and computer technology relating thereto. Then it continues with giving reasons for cybercrime and describes cybercrime from a more practical point of view while analysing various cyber threats and attackers, including illustrative examples. The theoretical part concludes with a chapter concerning the prevention and detection of cyber threats. The purpose of the practical part is to demonstrate the impact of a simple Denial of Service attack.

Návrh síťové bezpečnosti firmy a plánu obnovy

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem síťové bezpečnosti firmy a obnovy dat. Teoretická část je věnována současným legislativním požadavkům EU, ČR a relevantních norem. Dále poskytuje přehled kybernetických hrozeb, statistických údajů o kybertických útocích z Národního úřadu pro kybernetickou a informační bezpečnost a obecný postup návrhu architektury bezpečnostní sítě a plánu obnovy dat. Práce je zhotovena ve spolupráci s vedoucím IT oddělení ve společnosti Ferrit s.r.o. Praktická část se zabývá rozborem a popisem současného stavu IT bezpečnostní sítě ve spolčenosti Ferrit s.r.o., návrhu plánu obnovy dat v případě ransomware útoků, který by zašifroval veškerá data ve firmě. Dále vypracováním školení pro zaměstnance z oblasti informační a kybertické bezpečnosti a testu k ověření jejich znalostí. V závěru jsou zhodnoceny přínosy návrhu nové architektury síťové bezpečnosti, plánu obnovy dat a školení uživatelů.

The 5G Technology Nexus: Assessing Threats and Risks of Implementation

The new 5G technology, next generation of telecommunication and mobile network, is all around the world in course of inspection and inquiry for its astonishing novelty, from new services to functions and scalability. However, every technology brings alongside new possibilities and new threats scenarios, especially in this case where the impact on the present network is promised to be massive, with brand new features allowed by 5G, like Internet of Things, widespread virtualization and huge leap forward in rapidity and capability of the mobile transmission. An increase in the network surface, considered as more connections, more devices connected and more traffic load of data, will expand also the possible entry point and fault exploitable by a malevolent actor, raising common concern about the technology. The deployment of such a technology on European soil, especially in some states of the Union, caused uproar and critics primarily in the security field. Following a global trend, but also leading a best practice approach, the EU developed a series of mechanisms and agencies that are challenged to oversees the gradual shift from old 4G LTE to 5G. 21. 5. 2020 Abstrakt Diplomová práce Proces sekuritizace kybernetické bezpečnosti v EU Denis Jiskra Institut politologických studií, Fakulta sociálních věd, Univerzita Karlova 2019/2020 Diplomová práce měla podobu jedinečné jedno-případové studie, která se pro potřeby výzkumu jevila jako ideální pro detailní analýzu politiky kybernetické bezpečnosti. V retrospektivě, tato zvolená metodologie umožnila autorovi zachytit složitost tak komplexního tématu jako je politika kybernetické bezpečnosti EU a strukturovaně popsat její vývoj. Z hlediska podpůrných metod byla jako metoda analýzy dat vybrána tematická analýza z důvodu přílišné byrokratizace dokumentů EU představující primární i sekundární zdroje analýzy. Práce byla rozdělena do čtyř strukturovaných částí. První kapitola byla věnována teoretickému konceptuálnímu ukotvení, přičemž hlavní důraz byl kladen na teorii sekuritizace Kodaňské školy a teoretická východiska, na kterých stavěla. Nástrahy sociálního inženýrství, prevence a ochrana

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou sociálního inženýrství, a to zejména z pohledu hrozeb, které představuje pro společnosti v dnešní době. Mimo objasnění samotného pojmu má práce také za cíl seznámit s nejběžnějšími nástroji a metodami sociálního inženýrství, s ohledem na rozmach informačních technologií, který pro daný obor představuje zlatý věk. Výstupem mé práce je pak zobecněný manuál pro manažera. Ten bude tvořit základní kámen nastavení informační bezpečnosti a bude pomyslnou protiváhou k identifikovaným hrozbám a také jako možná pomůcka pro školení zaměstnanců.
