My bachelor thesis deals with the English–Czech dictionary for subject HEFE (and also XAEI). Terms lexicography, dictionary and dictionary division, terms word and classes of words are explained in this thesis. The second section describes process of creation of dictionary. The procedure how the words were translated and sources, which were used to translations, are also described in the third part. An electronic solution to technical glossary is in the end of the thesis.

Game Development Process

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the game development process and everything that is needed to create a successful video game. The first part of the thesis distinguishes all the various roles in a development team and provides context to them. The second part analyzes the timeline and goals for different stages of video game production, while also assessing the positives and negatives of working with a Publisher. Certification and rating processes are also considered. The third and final part offers a look behind the scenes of game development, through an interview with a game developer.

Social Distancing Technologies

The global pandemic caused many social distancing restrictions. The purpose of this thesis was to evaluate a number of available technologies that enable social distancing. The chosen technologies were described in terms of how they work and their impact on the pandemic. Their advantages and disadvantages were evaluated as well. All of the chosen technologies proved to be useful and provide a sufficient solution to the various problems caused by pandemic restrictions.

Malware: Behaviour, Detection and Prevention

This bachelor’s thesis deals with a form of cybercrime that takes advantage of malicious software, also called malware. It outlines the basics of computer security threats, explaining relevant terms and concepts. Next, the thesis progresses through the most common and dangerous types of malware, describing each of them while also incorporating information such as how the particular type of malware has affected the world. Then, it focuses on the fundamentals of malware detection and outlines how users can protect themselves through prevention techniques. The thesis aims to create a manual that ordinary computer users could use to protect themselves from different types of malware.

Virtual reality – technology of the future

With the increasing popularity of Virtual Reality, the technology is slowly moving towards the more consumer segment, making it more accessible to the public. This paper describes the current state of Virtual Reality, its components and equipment, and the application of the technology in various fields, such as education, healthcare, and the military. A brief history is included, and vice versa; the future development is discussed with possible risks involved. The practical part discusses the possible effects of Virtual Reality on the user from an immersivity and health condition standpoint.

ICT a změna klimatu: Jsou informační technologie příčnou či řešením?

Úloha informačních a komunikačních technologií (IKT) při řešení změny klimatu je kontroverzní. Cílem této práce je zjistit, zda jsou ICT příčinou nebo řešením změny klimatu, a to na základě analýzy jejich negativních a pozitivních dopadů na životní prostředí. Na úvod bude představena uhlíková a energetická stopa hlavních komponent IKT a způsoby minimalizace negativních dopadů. Dále bude analyzován potenciál IKT ke snížení emisí uhlíku v jiných odvětvích. Byla přezkoumána literatura týkající se nejnovějších technologií, změny klimatu a zprávy společností, jejichž hlavním cílem je udržitelná budoucnost. Výsledky této bakalářské práce ukazují, že IKT mají jak negativní, tak pozitivní dopady na životní prostředí. Mají však velký potenciál pro řešení změny klimatu prostřednictvím snížení uhlíkové stopy a zvýšení energetické účinnosti v jiných odvětvích, což převažuje nad negativními dopady IKT. A to pomocí nových technologií, jako je 5G, internet věcí (IoT) a umělá inteligence (AI). Je důležité zdůraznit význam dalších studií a spolupráce vlády, podniků a spotřebitelů směrem k IKT šetrným k životnímu prostředí a k udržitelné budoucnosti se sníženou změnou klimatu.

Integrace nabíjecí stanice do energetického systému rodinného domu s FVE

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá integrací nabíjecí stanice do energetického systému rodinného domu s fotovoltaickým systémem. Tato práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Účelem teoretické části bylo provézt výzkum o současných možnostech nabíjecích stanic a jejich integrací do domácnosti. V praktické části byly vytvořeny návrhy funkcí pro integraci nabíjecí stanice do chytré domácnosti a bylo provedeno testování vybrané nabíjecí stanice.

Use of GPS in the Car Industry Oriented on Self-driving Vehicles

This bachelor thesis focuses on the use of GPS in the automotive industry with a focus on unmanned vehicles. The aim was mainly to approach the GPS system but also other temporary systems, and to describe and characterize autonomous vehicles and all the hardware and software they use. The first half of the work characterizes the GPS in great detail so that the reader gets to know how the navigation system works. In the second part of this work, the reader will learn about autonomous vehicles, to which levels we divide them and which systems are used. Reader will also learn the advantages and disadvantages of these vehicles, the main differences between today's cars and autonomous cars. At the end of this work is intelligent transport and its benefits, but also a insight into the future of transport and vehicles.
