TeachRobot control design and realization
Dohnal, Jakub ; Matyáš, Pavel (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the management model of industrial manipulator using a microcontroller. The first part deals with the theoretical basis. The second part deals with the description of the model TeachRobot. The third part describes the design and implementation of the control electronics. The last part consists of a description of software microcontroller.
Car4 vehicle remote control enhancement
Nejedlík, Tomáš ; Lamberský, Vojtěch (referee) ; Vejlupek, Josef (advisor)
This work deals with adding the LCD display to the remote control and its programming. At the introduction, we describe available data that we could get from the on-board sensors. Then we describe in detail how are the data transmitted between vehicle and its remote control, how the data are processed and then displayed. Also the modifications performed on the on-board electronic wiring and battery charging are discussed and described.
Datalogger with parallel data logging
Havlena, Marek ; Minář, Petr (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis is dedicated to the design and implementation of the Datalogger module, which stores data in two different memory storages. First memory storage is solved by using an SD card and the second is the internal EEPROM memory of the microcontroller. It also deals with data synchronization between these memory storages. Communication between the cards is through the SPI bus and communication with the module is provided by a serial interface designed by USB transmitter (UART).
RFID acces system realization
Mikšíček, Pavel ; Jančík, Stanislav (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of using RFID technology in intelligent buildings. The first part of thesis describes main parts of the technology, principle functions and gives examples of applications in various fields. The second part deals with selection suitable RFID technology on frequency 125 kHz for manufacture the functional prototype of the device, design hardware for realization and discusses security. There is a detailed description of device functions. In the last part thesis describes the implementation process from drawing schematics to design and manufacture of printed circuit boards and testing prototype. The knowledge gained in the creation of this work are summarized in the conclusion.
Design and implementation of control module with display
Bubák, Martin ; Lamberský, Vojtěch (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of an operating module with the display controlled by a microcontroller. At the beginning of the thesis, research of various types of displays and the description of communication of the most common LCD module controllers with MPU is given. In the next part, selection of a suitable display is made. Next, connection of LCD graphic module with controller T6936C to dSPACE and the microcontroller and its programing in Matlab – Simulink is described.
Microcontrollers programming possibilities
Šubrt, Stanislav ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
This work is focused on inner structure and programming possibilities of microcontrollers. The work goal is to describe inner structure of microcontrollers from the programmer’s point of view, find out advantages and disadvantages of their programming in Assembly language, C language and higher-level languages. Code portability between different microcontrollers’ families and architectures is discussed further.
Software interface implementation for OmniVision camera
Tomáš, Petr ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor degree thesis is to analyse and test potential of special camera module (OmniVision image sensor) and to evaluate its applicability to the mobile robotics. In the first part of this work a research method was used which compares and evaluates information gained from the camera systems most widely used in the mobile robotics. The main source for this part of the work was Internet. In the next part, research method was applied which helped to obtain data, to explain important concepts as well as to get new information about the camera module itself. The conclusion of this thesis focuses on the use of the recommended programming language in order to solve the problem which was under examination and to draw my own conclusions concerning the applicability of the image sensor to the practise. This bachelor degree thesis offers a suggestion how to implement hardware and software interface for the camera module chosen. A new test application was developed for the purpose of this work to represent basic potential of the image sensor. It also creates basis for the use of the camera module in different applications. This work also provides factual information for new users how to use this or similar camera with OmniVision sensor quickly and effectively. This camera module is suitable for the mobile robotics and it can be recommended for small mobile robots with low energy content. Concretely, this module makes it possible to pre-elaborate the image due to its program possibilities and wide range of ways how to configure the scanned scene right in the image sensor.
Stereometric ultrasonic distance sensor
Nguyen, Thuc Tuyen ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with designing and realizing a sensory system for detecting the presence of targets and its location. Target is located by two parameters: the distance and the view angle from sensory system. This system is set up by two ultrasonic distance sensors SRF02, driven by microcontroller Atmega128, using I2C communication protocol. The placement of the two ultrasonic distance sensors is optimized by using mathematical model, it enables the system to perform optimum accuracy and be able to observe the largest area possible. The measurement results then will be shown on LCD display module or they can be saved and used as input parameters for other tasks.
Rapid prototyping via automatic software code generation for embedded applications
Klimeš, David ; Lamberský, Vojtěch (referee) ; Vejlupek, Josef (advisor)
This work deals with issues of automatic code generation for microcontrollers. Knowledge of this area is subsequently used for adjustment of the part of code of the experimental vehicle Car4. The main theme of this work is to design a control platform of the based platform dsPIC, which serve for driving Car4. Tooling capabilities for automatic code generation in creating firmware for this remote control are then tested in practice on this remote control.
Contactless revolutions counter for rotary machines
Zatloukal, Jiří ; Vdoleček, František (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
The Bachelor's Thesis consists of two parts. At first it deals with methods of the speed rotary measurement summary from history to the current methods applied. In the second part we can see a project and the actual production of the strobe rotation speed scanner and IR rotation speed scanner. All it is implemented in the solderless breadboard and under employment of the development kit EvB 4.3 based with the microcontroller Atmega 644p.
