Gerlich, Jan ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This work deals with the proposal of cascade control of the DC servo motor. This work solve proposal of position regulators, angular velocity regulators and current regulators. Futhermore this work deals with the implementation of an algorithms of discrete PI and PID regulators on microprocessor.
Table tennis robot
Nguyen, Thuc Tuyen ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with designing and manipulating a robot for training table tennis. Robot's mechanical construction is based on aluminium profiles supported by various standardized assembly units, such as rotating bearings, plain bearings, threaded rods... The front-end part of the robot, which requires better deformation property and lighter weight, was made from ABS material using 3D rapid prototyping technology. The design of the robot allows its body to rotate around three axises. Thanks to the high dynamical ability, robot can be set to throw balls to various places on the playing table, with different types of ball spin. Balls will be shot out by two rubber wheels, which are attached to two electrical DC motors. By driving the speed of the two motors, we can control the speed of the ball, as well as speed of its spin. All robot's activities are driven by an embedded system designed using microcontroller ATMega128. A firmware for controlling robot's function was writen and flashed into the microcontroller. End-users might communicate with the robot via a system of buttons and a text LCD display. The built robot was tested and it has shown its ability to throw balls to 6 different places of the playing table, at different speeds, with different types of ball spin, and different spin speed, according to the parameters set by user.
Design of paraglider landing simulator
Wertheimer, Pavel ; Ripel, Tomáš (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
Practice of landing with paraglider is very inefficient since every flight requires lengthy preparation. Therefore paragliding schools look for a more efficient alternative how to train new pilots. A paraglider flying simulator, which is the subject of this Master`s Thesis, could be that alternative. The design of the simulator includes three parts: a mechanical part - a frame to hang a pilot, that is the same as in real paraglider; an electronic part - scanning of pilot`s control actions and control of force in breaks of a paraglider; and a software part - a design of firmware for a microcontroller. Within the Master`s thesis a function prototype has been made.
Automotive Electric Motors Innovation
Šimko, František ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
The purpose of this project is to explain the construction of motors in car technology. We can acquaint more with the construction of a DC electric motor. Then we will deal more with electric motor starters, an innovation of a DC electric motor or with its replacing for AC electric motor with other poles.
Outdoor Robot Hardware Design
Sitta, Michal ; Veselý, Miloš (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
This work starts with slightly more detailed description of Ackerman and differential steering. Next shows parameters of direct-current brush and brush-less motors and gear-boxes uses in robotics. Electro technical part show problems of control direct-current brush motor, design of DC-DC converter with integrated circuit MC34063, reading information about steering angle with potentiometer and speed with optical encoder. In the end of work is shown simple byte oriented communication protocol used between microprocessor and desktop PC.
Ejection mechanism automotive starter pinion
Sláma, Miloslav ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
The thesis describes ways ejection pinions automotive starter and evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of each solution. The first chapter deals with the principle of operation of DC motors and starters parameters. In the second part, the individual systems are theoretically discussed in terms of design and their advantages and disadvantages. The third part is focused on the most common system, which is analyzed in terms of mechanical and electrical reliability. The last point of the work is to design an experimental analysis Reach starter pinion.
Compact inverter for DC motor
Kvapil, Martin ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Procházka, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis deals project and realization of universal transistor converter for power electronics course. For this converter was at the same time designed control circuit and drive circuit. Next part is about the design of compact converter for DC. This converter is controlled by a microprocessor Freescale.
Automotive Electric Motors Analysis and Innovation
Vala, Tomáš ; Mach, Martin (referee) ; Hájek, Vítězslav (advisor)
Electric drives used in automotive industry are often based on standard DC motor as it is widely recognised as mature and reliable technology. The most common applications of DC motors in automotive industry are starters and wind screen wiper motors. Aim of this thesis is to provide design overview of typical automotive DC motor therefore main parts and features of the machine will be described in detail. Main disadvantage of DC motor is „sliding contact“ between commutator and carbon brushes which introduces source of electromagnetic disturbance and requires regular maintenance. Within this project different aspects of DC motor design and innovation are expected to be tackled including examples of loss calculation.
Simulation models of electric drive vehicles
Bílý, Lukáš ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The work deals with creating a DC electric motor drive. The model is composed of electrical power from the engine model and transistor pulse converter load, which are joined together and completed the anchor and regulate the flow control engine speed. Great attention was paid to the determination of losses in the load drive electric vehicles and create a model of electric power load. The real work was verified by an experimental model of an electric vehicle Car4 the available parameters.
Utilization of Inventor Studio for modelling of electric machines manufacturing process
Jeřábek, Ladislav ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Kuchyňková, Hana (advisor)
In this work are described detail manuals of creating animations in two ways. 1. By means of presentation of breaking up the constraints. 2. By means of application Inventor Studio. Furthermore, there is described the principle functions of the DC motor. There is the procedure which can simulate the transient with Matlab Simulink. There is also explained how to measure engine parameters needed to calculate the transient.
