Financial incentives as motivating factors for employees

5 ABSTRACT This bachelor thesis is focused on the influence of the tangible rewards on the motivation to work. Moreover, the intangible rewards are important elements as well, so they are both described in the separated chapters. The different approaches of various authors who follow up the topic of influencing performance are introduced. It also deals with the goals and tasks of reward system in a company. The main principles of rewarding, which are significant for the goal achieving, are summed up. Attention is also paid to the role of the total reward concept and its advantages. In the empirical part of the thesis, the questionnaire survey results are presented. Its aim was to find out how the employees of private business organisations perceive the influence of tangible and intangible rewards on their motivation to work. The purpose was to analyse the conditions under which workers prefer the tangible inducements to the intangible ones. The bachelor’s thesis focuses on analysis and development of the system of remuneration of the construction company to rise employee satisfaction of the company. It compares theoretical findings with practical findings. It also includes proposal for improvement of the systém of remuneration of the employees and economic evaluation of proposal changes.
Remuneration and Motivation of Employees in the Public Sector

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the current system of motivation and remuneration in a chosen public organization. Then propose steps that would lead to improvement of this system. The theoretical part focuses on the study of the theoretical background and the explanation of the basic terms. This section begins with description of terms as motivation, stimulation, theories of motivation. It also deals with remuneration, total compensations, regulations of wages or salary and also with public sector. The selected organization is the Municipal Office in Jindřichův Hradec, which is described in the practical part of this thesis. Moreover in the practical part the system of motivation and remuneration is analysed. The necessary data for the analysis are obtained from the internal documents of the organization. Other information was obtained through a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire is based on the total compensation. The obtained results are interpreted and some recommendations for the improvement of current state are suggested. Recommendations for improvement relates mostly to employee benefits, education, as well as give recognition or praise.
Proposal for a Change in the Employee Remuneration System in a Selected Company

Subject of this thesis is employees’ evaluation, remuneration and motivation in a particular company. In order to properly motivate employees, must be a system of evaluation and remuneration fair and understandable to employees. The aim of this work is based on theoretical knowledge gained in the first part and analysis of combination compensation in part two, suggest a more efficient system of employees’ reward and motivation. This should lead to greater satisfaction and improved employee service and thus to improve company performance.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse and evaluate the system of remuneration of employees in a company that sells cars, spare parts and services vehicles. This thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines the payroll system and the employee benefits. The practical part consists of characterizing the company and its remuneration system, a questionnaire survey of employee satisfaction with the system and suggestions for possible improvements. The remuneration system is set up correctly with only a few shortcomings. Therefore, there were changes proposed that could optimize the identified deficiencies.

The main information source for the analysis and current system evaluation was internal documents together with questionnaire survey focused on employees' satisfaction with this system. The theoretical part deals with key terminology from the field of remuneration and employee motivation.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to assess the employee remuneration in a particular company. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to remuneration system, total reward and to the wage system as well. In the part of practical application of the theory the analysis of the current situation has been made. This part also includes research of employee opinion on the current remuneration, which was implemented by usage of questionnaires. Strengths and weaknesses of the company remuneration system were found by analysing of the results of questionnaires. It was found out that the company suitably uses the concept of total reward and that the system is clearly defined, in spite of that there are some flaws in it. These flaws are then reflected on the satisfaction of employees and it negatively shows on their motivation as well. To reach some improvement of the current situation, it would be necessary to implement suggested formulation and optimization.
Motivation and reward system of non-profit organizations

The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the current system of remuneration and motivation in terms of non-profit organizations and suggest steps that would lead to its improvement. To achieve the aim was selected Elementary school Ivana Olbrachta. To obtain information, an analysis of statistical reports and financial statements. Further interviews were conducted with employees of the organization. Established the amount and structure provided separately salary of teaching and non- teaching staff. Was also analyzed the effectiveness of paid salary costs. Based on this analysis were determined proposals to increase efficiency. Further motivation was decommissioned a total remuneration in the organization. Based on the analysis of the total remuneration were determined suggestions for its improvement.

The Bachelor's Thesis deals with analysis of the remuneration in the company Agrofert Holding, a. s. The aim of the thesis is to analyze and evaluate the system of remuneration in this company. The theoretical part defines the concept of the remuneration system, payroll system, but also employee benefits. In the practical part, firstly the company is characterized and subsequently analyzed. It also includes exploration of employee's opinion on the current remuneration system, which is implemented in the form of a questionnaire. Based on the results of questionnaire and analysis, the strengths and weaknesses of this issue were identified and were proposed some measures, which should contribute to the optimization of remuneration system. The remuneration system in the company is set correctly. Serious deficiencies were not found. The company has a well elaborated system of additional payroll forms, provides a wide variety of benefits, but also intangible rewards.
Analysis of the employee benefit system in a company

The bachelor thesis of a title "Analysis of the employee benefit system in a company" deals with employee benefits and their application in companies nowadays. The theoretical part focuses on a reward system in general, in which the employee benefits are described in detail. In this part there is a classification of benefits following the current theories and the methods of providing benefits. The detailed information about goals, purposes and current trends in the employee benefit systems are mentioned in this chapter as well. The last subchapter of the theoretical part describes the benefit system regarding the tax aspects. In the practical part there is a description of a particular company and its employee benefits offer which was analyzed from positive and negative point of view. The employee preferences regarding the benefits in the company were indicated by a questionnaire research. It was also investigated a reason of employee dissatisfaction with some benefits. The results of the research are evaluated in the end of the thesis. The solution eliminating imperfection and the optimization suggestion of the benefit system are also mentioned in the conclusion.
