Chronically ill child in the primary school

This bachelor thesis describes and analyses the issues of chronically ill children of younger school age in the period of their basic school years. This thesis first mentions the historical aspects and the historical development of the care for the people and mainly children with the health disadvantage focused on the chronical diseases, some personalities, who contributed to the development of the care for chronically ill, and additionally had impact on the foundation of the specialized instituitions for chronically ill people. This thesis also mentions the social attitude and the of the experts toward children with chronical disease and institutions which care of chronically ill children. Furthermore this thesis also desccribes the characteristics, etiology, diagnostics, risks and crisis situations, therapy and treatment and prevention of those chronical diseases, further elaborated in the practical research part of the thesis. The last of the theoretical are the reasonings, hypothesis and reflections about the influence and inputs of chronic diseases on current basic school attendance and teaching at the basic school are further, based on the through questionaires performed research in the practical part of the thesis, either confirmed or disproved, there is also a reflection about possible solutions in the pedagogical practice.

Didaktice psychologie zatím není věnována velká péče. Tato rigorózní práce je možným příspěvkem do dané problematiky. Navazuje na diplomovou práci "Aktuální otázky didaktiky psychologie na středních školách" obhájenou v roce 2004, rozvíjí ji a rozšiřuje jak v části teoretické, tak praktické; zcela nová je část aplikovaná. Část ,-:eoreticko - praktická východiska tvoří nejduležitější aspekty výuky psychologie. V souladu se záměry práce jsme se snažili podchytit a zmapovat nejvýznamnější témata didaktiky odrážející se v pedagogickém procesu. Jedná se především o obecnou charakteristiku předmětu psychologie na ruzných typech škol, faktory ovlivňující výuku, metody a formy výuky, motivace, osobnost učitele, hodnocení či materiálnědidaktické prostředky. Snažili jsme se uchopit nejzákladnější teoretická témata mající dle našeho názoru největší vliv na kvalitu výuky předmětu. Chápeme, že problematika je jistě ještě obsáhlejší, ale domníváme se, že jsme vhodně vybrali nejpodstatnější aspekty. Empirická sonda má za cíl zmapovat situaci výuky psychologie na vybraných školách pomocí dotazníkové metody a rozhovoru a vyvodit z výsledku závěry, které by mohly posloužit k optimalizaci výuky psychologie.

Monitoring Conditions for Physical Activity Utilization on the Medical Program at the Detoxification Ward

Title: The Monitoring OfCondition For Motion Activites Utilization In The Terms OfThe Medical Program At The Detoxification Ward The aim of a work: The aim of this diploma work is the monitoring of rnotion activities utilization at the rnedical procedure and the determination of physical ability level of patients curing at the detoxification ward in the General Teaching Hospital in Apolinářská street. The methodology of a work: By the aim of this diploma work we have chosen the following work's methods: the controlled interview, the questionnaire and the kinetic tests. Because of the motion activities monitoring we have used the following instuments of the pedagogical research: the controlled interview and the non-standardized questionnaire containing seven closed and three non-closed questions. We have taken advantage of the personal statement of the motion activities implementor. The kinetic test we have applied for the determination of physical ability level ofpatients in the four test days. The results of a work: The motion exercises make a part of the daily program at the detoxification. The physical exercises have positive effect on the physical condition of patients addicted to alcohol and also on their mental condition. The paper "The Architecture of the First Half of the Twentieth Century in the Western Part of the Ústi Region" ( in the preparation of art pedagogy and its didactical use in the realm of electronic media) covers - as it is obvious from the title - not only the architecture and its pedagogical reflection. In the first part of the paper the author tries to touch a phenomenon of the relationship of the society to the area itself. This phenomenon is significant as it unveils the social relationships and forces which were decisive in not only forming the region, but also influencing the way of interpretating the history, especially the history of the first half of the twentieth century. The main part of the paper consists of a description of the architecture in the interim period between the two world wars, in the identification of its creators, in the discerning of its Czech and German origins. The focus on the Ústi region is not by chance, as it is the home region of the author. The region is defined, starting at Ústi nad Labem going as far as Chomutov. This part traces the architectural development of German creativity in the Czech area and compares it with the Czech product. Being a parent of a child with physical moving disabilities

The objective of the work is to understand the experience of the parents of physically disabled children using the hermeneutic-narrative approach. The theoretical foundation for the research is McAdams's eoncept of "narrative identity", which is understood as the internalized integration of the past, present time and antieipated future, and provides the feelings of unity and purposefulness. The work partially uses MeAdams's model of "identity as a life-story"", which eonsists of following eategories: 1) key event, 2) perspective and goal, 3) self-image and image of the others, 4) values and beliefs. The theoretical part further elaborates the psychological problems of the families with physically disabled children with a speciál interest in their coping strategies. The methodological foundation of the work is the hermeneutic-narrative approach and its assumption that the human experience is narratively structured. Thus, if we want to study, what it is like to be a parent of a physically disabled child, it is possible to explore the way, how this experience and the relevant understanding are structured in a narration. Methods of teaching literature of the world

The aim of this dissertation is to help to improve the quality of teaching world literature in Vietnam, while making use of the experience with teaching this literature at secondary schools in the Czech Republic. This dissertation is based on studying professional pedagogical texts, as well as on hands-on teaching experience both in Vietnam and in the Czech Republic. Treatises and studies mainly by Czech authors and to a certain extent also by educationalists of worldwide reputation have served as theoretical background. Textbooks in both Vietnam and the Czech Republic may well be of use. This work is also founded on the author's practical experience with teaching from Vietnam. The cooperation with Czech teachers has proved extremely interesting and helpful in a number of points. Firstly, I had the chance to observe a number of lessons. Secondly, interviews with teachers and specialists have been a source of practical experience and information for me. Furthermore, there are experimental classes, to which the methods I suggested were applied to. With regard to surveys and conditions in Vietnamese schools, the proposed methods of teaching world literature will be adapted to teaching literature in Vietnam, while respecting the cultural, social, geographical and philosophical differences between Vietnam and...

Returning to Work After Parental Leave

The bachelor thesis addresses the issue of harmonizing work and care at the time when women return back from parental leave to the labour market. Main aim of the thesis was to identify obstacles women encounter on the labour market at the end of parental leave or right after the end of parental leave as well as the internal and external barriers of women, harmonization of maternity and employment. The text is divided in two parts theoretical and practical one. Theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the history of family and family policies. It concerns functions that the family should fulfil as well as the meaning and value of a family for an individual. First chapter is finished with the view of the current family policy. Second chapter considers the possibility of financial provisions from state in time of the social events of pregnancy, delivery and maternity. Third chapter describes the position of women on the labour market perceived both from the historical and present views. Last chapter of the theoretical part presents the possibilities for harmonization of work and care offered to families in the Czech Republic at present. For the practical part of the bachelor thesis, a technique of semi-structured interview was applied. Research set consisted of six women-mothers within the age of 33-38 living in Písek district, who are on parental leave at present or have recently finished the leave. In connection with the aim, the main research question was determined: "How do women experience return from parental leave back to the labour market?" and was answered with the help of other three auxiliary research questions concerning priorities of women with regard to harmonization of work and care, experience of women with various obstacles on the labour market due to parenthood and division of labour within families of such women. The interviews implied that all women would always prefer family to work. However, they need a reliable partner and as far as possible functional wider family background, chance to use kindergartens as well as before and after school care for children of younger school age or at least the possibility to use the service of babysitting. All the women would welcome the option to work part-time after parental leave, nevertheless it is prevented by the unwillingness of most employees to allow for some form of flexible work. The thesis may be beneficial for any women-mothers of small children as it offers possibility to compare their feelings with other similar women with children and the way women from the research set succeed in the demanding task of harmonizing work and care and how they prepare for the return to the labour market.

Bauhaus school and reformal pedagogic in the contex of social development in the end of 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century

The theses "Bauhaus school and reformal pedagogics in the context of social development in the end of 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century" looks for the answer for the question if it is possible to consider Bauhaus pedagogics as a part o f a reform pedagogic movement. In the first two chapters are explained political, social and mental reality of the german empire in the time of Wilhelm the II. and the pedagogics of the 19th century. The third chapter deals with reform schooling and the atmosphere of the cultural pesimism of the "fin de siecle". The analysis itself of the Bauhaus pedagogics and its comparison with reform pedagogics on the examples of M.Montessori, R. Steiner and G. Kerchensteiner are found in the chapter four. Výukové simulátory pro tvorbu ekonomických a enviromentálních strategií

Požadavek na využití simulačních metod v rozhodovacích situacích při řízení ekonomických procesů je opakovaným požadavkem efektivnější přípravy školených manažerských týmů na různých úrovních řízení. Simulační technologie dnes výrazně ovlivňují schopnosti i možnosti kvalitního plánování i řízení těchto procesů. Současný vývoj informačních technologií umožňuje věrohodně simulovat průběh i výsledky zmíněných ekonomických procesů. Samotná simulace nenahrazuje praktickou činnost, ale značně ji zkvalitňuje a zintenzivňuje. Důkazem toho je propracovaný systém přípravy manažerských týmů různého stupně v hierarchii řízení společností na britských univerzitách, který je výsledkem kombinace nácviku praktické činnosti při řízení reálných rozhodovacích situací a simulací této činnosti na některém v diplomové práci uvedených simulátorů (virtuální simulace) a nácviku praktické rozhodovací činnosti týmu rozhodovatelů s podporou simulace (konstruktivní simulace). Předkládaná diplomová práce reaguje na některé z podstatných a aktuálních otázek možného využití simulačních technologií v pedagogickém procesu.
