Proposal of Activities Increasing Competitiveness of Company

The aim of this master thesis is to improve the competitive position of a selected company by creation of new marketing mix. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part constitutes the theoretical basis. The second part contains SLEPT analysis, analysis according to Porter’s five forces model, analysis of the company‘s marketing mix and its competition, and also includes a questionnaire. The third part deals with creation of new marketing mix for the company.

Implementation of the selected lean tool in the international operating company

This Masters Thesis deals with the concept of lean manufacturing and its implementing specifications in Czech companies. The theoretical part describes the concept of lean in detail, its history, principles and other characteristics. Furthermore this part presents the analysis related to the implementation of lean principles in small and medium sized companies in the Czech Republic. Based on this analysis, the hypothesis about the success or failure of implementation is formulated. The practical part describes the implementation of the chosen lean tool in the international operating company. On the basis of this project, the hypothesis is affirmed or denied.

Toll system in the Federal Republic of Germany

The Master's Thesis deals with the toll system in the Federal Republic of Germany. The theoretical part of the thesis describes technologies that are used in electronic fee collection systems, satellite navigation systems and provides a snapshot of German road infrastructure. The main part of the work deals with German toll system that is provided by Toll Collect GmbH. Various aspects of toll payment via fuel cards are discussed in the practical part that also includes an alternative payment option. The study case assesses whether hauliers should or should not try to avoid using toll roads.

Příprava Firmy na Expanzi na Čínský Trh

This master thesis is written as a guideline for successful business expansion to Chinese market. It describes the regional characteristics, which are important in order to understand the Chinese culture, since without proper understanding of the culture, all of its aspects and concepts such as Guanxi, no foreign firm will be able to succeed in China. Apart of the cultural analysis it also deals with the theory of expansion, how to correctly approach it, what are the possible entry modes and financial sources. I used three case studies, which provide real life experience with this issue from different points of view. The practical part of the thesis is primarily focused on financial industry in China, specifically on investment funds and what should be the necessary steps for any investment fund, which would like to expand to Chinese market.

The master's thesis deals with analysis of current solution of car tracking system on Faculty of Science at South Bohemia University and new solution proposal of this system and its implementation and comparison of this solutions. The aim of the master thesis is analysis of customer´s consumer behavior in a Second hand shops in Czech Republic. My assistments is processed like a research´s replication of second hand´s life style. This was compared between American and Chinese youth, which its results were recently published in the International Journal of Consumer Studies. Firstly the research is aimed on discovering reasons, why people buy stuffs there. Secondly which concerns or limits affecting buying the used goods and if social groups have influence on a choice of goods. In the end the main result is discovering common features of consumer´s behavior and subsequent customer profiling.

Data quality in the business information database environment

This master thesis is concerned with the choice of suitable data quality dimensions for a particular database of economy information and proposes and implements metrics for its assessment. The aim of this paper is to define the term data quality in the context of economy information database and possible ways to measure it. Based on dimensions suitable to observe, a list of metrics was created and subsequently implemented in SQL query language, alternatively in a procedural extension Transact SQL. These metrics were also tested with the use of real data and the results were provided with a commentary. The main asset of this work is its complex processing of the data quality topic, from theoretical term definition to particular implementation of individual metrics. Finally, this study offers a variety of both theoretical and practical directions fort this issue to be further researched.

Specifics of Marketing Communication of American IT company on the European market

This master thesis deals with the specifics of marketing communication of American IT company on the European market. The aim of this work is to describe principles of marketing and marketing communication. The main objective of this work is the analysis of Hewlett Packard Enterprise marketing communication, its evaluation and formulation of recommendations that would lead to more effective marketing communication. The benefit of this thesis should be creating comprehensive view of the company, analysis of its communication and subsequent suggestions for improvement, which could be applied in practice.

Male and Female Identity in Contemporary Society Focusing on the Labor Market

The aim of the master's thesis is to describe male and female identity in today's society. The first chapter includes basic expressions connected with key terms gender and gender stereotypes. This thesis is focusing on equality of genders and the enshrinement of equality rights in law. This thesis also includes the analysis of the current status of women in the European Union based on data from the Eurobarometer and the Czech Statistical Office survey. The aim of the graduation thesis is to analyse the perception of men and women in today's society, to determine how strongly are stereotypical perceptions rooted in society, how is perceived the equality of men and women in labour market and how opinions on this issue differ among Czech Republic citizens and among European Union citizens.

The goal of this Masters Thesis is to estimate the value of CZC.cz s.r.o. as of 31.12.2016. The goal of estimating the firm value is to evaluate its current financial health based on historical data, which are primarily gathered from the firm annual reports and other official sources. The next step after evaluating the firm current health is to model future financial results based on expert predictions to find out what economic value will the firm bring to its owners, or what is the price for investor to pay for gaining control over the firm. The Thesis contains of two parts: theoretical part and practical part. Theoretical part explains terms, methods and instruments used in evaluation process. Practical part consits the results of analysis and comments, and the result of estimating the firm value based on Discounted Free Cash Flow method. The Thesis ends with conclusion, which summarizes the results of analysis and valuation.
