Tématem této diplomové práce je koncept štíhlé výroby a specifika jejího zavádění v českém prostředí. Pro praktickou část jsou stěžejní zejména publikace zabývající se danou problematikou a průzkum týkající se implementace principů štíhlého řízení a výroby v prostředí malých a středních podniků v České republice. Na základě poznatků získaných prostřednictvím tohoto šetření je stanovena hypotéza úspěšnosti či neúspěšnosti implementace těchto principů v českých firmách. Praktická část je založena na popisu zavádění vybraného nástroje štíhlé výroby ve zvoleném podniku, při-čemž autorka diplomové práce se na implementaci podílela. Na základě této zkušenosti je zhodnocena vhodnost prostředí českých podniků pro zásady štíhlé výroby, respektive jsou zmíněny specifické aspekty, s nimiž se může implementace vzhledem k charakteru tohoto prostředí potýkat. Uvedené skutečnosti pak ústí v potvrzení či vyvrácení stanovené hypotézy. This Masters Thesis deals with the concept of lean manufacturing and its implementing specifications in Czech companies. The theoretical part describes the concept of lean in detail, its history, principles and other characteristics. Furthermore this part presents the analysis related to the implementation of lean principles in small and medium sized companies in the Czech Republic. Based on this analysis, the hypothesis about the success or failure of implementation is formulated. The practical part describes the implementation of the chosen lean tool in the international operating company. On the basis of this project, the hypothesis is affirmed or denied.
