Desing and implementation of the LCC converter application for emulation validating of the integrated LLC converters
Pokorný, Ondřej ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of an LLC converter, which will be used for the verification of prototypes of integrated circuit designs, as well as its applications. First, we address why we chose the LLC converter specifically for this application. We continue by analysing the specific type of converter and describe its function. The main point of this thesis is the numerical design with input parameters, which concludes with a simulation which verifies the calculated values. The product of the thesis is the design of the final wiring diagram of the LLC converter and the test board (module) and their realisation on PCB. The thesis concludes with a verification of the whole construction using a test board in a practical measurement. The work includes the author’s own design of a transformer, as well as a discussion on the problematics of the usage of magnetic circuits for LLC converters.
Configuring Integrated Circuit with a Single External Resistor
Chmelař, Martin ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and simulation of an analog circuit that is able to adjust the functions of other parts of the circuit by connecting an external resistor. The design is done in submicron technology.
A Set of Tasks for the Course of Introduction to Cybernetics
Jalůvková, Markéta ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is about making application in MATLAB App Designer. It describe using real systems and basic dynamic properties in GUI applications. It has use for students of Entrance for kyberneticts. Goal is to make application with conection on chosen systems created in MATLAB Simulink interface
Epidemiological modeling of Covid-19
Motlíčková, Klára ; Ředina, Richard (referee) ; Mézl, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with matematical compartment modeling of the COVID-19 pandemic. The basic epidemiological models are presented and six studies that deal with the behavior of the SARS-CoV-2 virus under different conditions are presented. On the SIR model are estimated parameters for first and fourth wave of the epidemic, using algorithm in MATLAB is made optimalization for all the waves of epidemic in the Czech Republic and also for the fourth wave on the SEIR model. The impact of antiepidemic measures is modelled on the SIR model.
On the kinematics of legged robots
Hrubý, Tomáš ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of kinematics of walking robots. It is aimed at introducing the problems of mobile robots and the concepts of solving locomotion and stability of robots with different numbers of limbs. Furthermore, the thesis discusses the mathematical principles leading to the description of the limbs of robots and to the description of their motion. These principles are then applied to the specific case of a six-legged walking robot. The description of the limbs with respect to the coordinates and the servomotor setup is resolved. Then the forward motion of the robot is modeled and the result is shown in the simulation.
Design of audio power amplifier with Bluetooth connectivity
Bartoň, Jan ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the task of designing an audio amplifier, operating in class D, with a nominal output power of 2 x 80 W with Bluetooth connectivity, supplemented by an equalizer and a state display. A power supply and a user interface are designed as well. At first, research regarding audio amplifiers is made, followed by a more thorough description of class D operating principles. Afterwards the actual synthesis of the desired amplifier is presented, followed by the power supply design procedure. The correctness of the synthesis is later verified by simulations in PSpice and LTSpice. Theoretical design is then practically built, and its parameters are confronted with expected values by measurements.
Wastewater stripping with the support of simulation software
Mader, Dan ; Touš, Michal (referee) ; Vondra, Marek (advisor)
The issue of increasing nitrogen in wastewater and at the same time growing demand for nitrogen fertilizers can be interconnected and solved by using stripping technology. This thesis deals with testing and modifications of the experimental unit for ammonia stripping in the Laboratory of Energy Intensive Processes, as well as the creation of a simulation of this unit in software ProMax. The batch mode unit was converted to continuous operation after several experiments with ammonia solution. The outcomes of the measurements from batch and continuous operation as well as from the simulation were subsequently compared and the obtained data show that continuous operation currently allows the removal of 94% of ammonia from the total input amount, while batch operation up to 98%. However, according to the simulation results, the lower efficiency of the continuously operating unit can be changed when certain operating parameters are increased. This knowledge can be used for further experiments or design of an industrial stripping column.
Design and production of an emission spectrograph tube for the SLAVIA microsatellite project
Zlínská, Marie ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The manufacture and design of components for the aerospace industry has its own specific requirements. One of these are the requirements for low weight, resistance to temperature changes, high rigidity and cost-effectiveness. This paper presents the design and subsequent manufacture of a tube for the SLAVIA project hyperspectral camera, taking into account the project requirements and the demands of the space environment. First of all, a thermo-structural analysis of the satellite's orbit around the Earth was carried out to identify possible deformations of the camera tube that could cause inaccuracies in image acquisition. It turns out that the lower the temperatures of the inner walls of the satellite, the more deformation of the tube and its position in satellite occurs. The design solution was then presented, followed by the fabrication of the camera tube, during which the manufacturability of the components and the assemblability of the device were verified. It has been found and confirmed that the most challenging task was to determine the dimensions of the grooves in such a way that the high stiffness of the whole assembly was maintained.
Robotic snake model control
Levek, Martin ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this work was control of a robotic snake model in an unknown environment with randomly generated obstacles. The robotic snake is made of nine segments. These segments are serially connected with actuators, which are used to change the angle between neighboring segments. Its functionality was tested in a co-simulation between MATLAB Simulink and MSC Adams. The snake’s task was to slither through a gap between two walls and reach the target without a collision. The correlation between the snake’s behavior and the set movement parameters was observed.
Simulation of the trencher device prototype
Polák, Václav ; Sommer, Matěj (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis were a simulation and an analysis of the construction of a prototype of additional trencher equipment. At first an analysation of a prototype and a calculation of load states was made. A simulation was made in a multi body system in program MSC Adams View. According to load states was made a stress analysis in program MSC Apex Jaguar. All acquired results were analysed and according to them changes were made to the frame construction. Part of this thesis contains drawings documenting.
