Bláhová, Jana ; Pazlarová, Hana (advisor) ; Matoušek, Oldřich (referee)
BLÁHOVÁ, J. The Most Frequent Causes of Failure of Foster Care in the Czech Republic 15 Years ago and Today. Prague: Philosophical Faculty of Charles University in Prague, 2012, 114 pp. Diploma Thesis. The aim of my diploma thesis was to map the main cause which take part in premature end of foster care in our country. I have recorded this problematic since the year 1996 up to now. I have focused on definition and forms of foster care. Further on the process of its arrangement and the starting conditions which have an influence on foster care. I have introduced and compared the results of two big Czech studies which were devoted in this topic and were published in the interval of 15 years. Besides the failure cause of foster care on the foster parents side and children entrusted into a foster care and the system of alternative family care I have also focused on factors which contributes to its success on the other hand. In the practical part I have tried to get more deeply into the cause of foster care failure from the view of social workers from OSPOD. I was interested in what and how influences the foster care failure, how the system components of alternative family care and which changes social workers see as needed in the support of foster care success. It has been shown that the causes of its...
Poetika imanence: performance divadlo Forced Entertainment
Suk, Jan ; Wallace, Clare (advisor) ; Roraback, Erik Sherman (referee) ; Voigts, Eckart (referee)
Jan Suk The Poetics of Immanence: Performance Theatre of Forced Entertainment Abstract The present dissertation thesis examines the multi-faceted nature of the devised as well as durational works of the British experimental theatre Forced Entertainment via the thought of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. The aim of the thesis is to explore the transformation- potentiality of the territory between the actors and the spectators. The transformativity of this interspace, or the territory in-between, is decodable namely via Forced Entertainment's performances' structural patterns, sympathy fostering aesthetics, virtual audience integration and accentuated emphasis of the now. The application of Deleuze's philosophy, chiefly the phenomenon of immanence, results in the definition of the poetics of immanence, whose operation enables the transformativity of theatrical space to be terminologically embraced. After delineating crucial terms, such as performance and theatre, live art, or postdramatic theatre, the initial chapter contextualizes Forced Entertainment as the pivotal experimental theatre group; the chapter further conducts an analysis of relevant critical literature in performance and theatre theory discourse. Chapter two provides a deeper contextualising study of the most significant Deleuzoguattarian...

This thesis is focused on possibilities of financial valuation of flexible pavements surface layers conditions, in connection with whole life cycle of the pavement and certain possibilities of their maintenance and repairs, in cases of defects and failures from forensic engineering point of view. There were carried out analysis of the topics connected with judging of flexible pavements surface layers defects and failures related to forensic investigation in the Czech Republic, as well as abroad. In this thesis there were created pricing models of the certain construction works which are related to repairs and maintenance of flexible pavements. Within the possibilities of the author, there were compared market prices of the particular construction works in selected regions with the prices according to generally used pricing systems in the Czech Republic. The goal of this thesis is to create unified methodology for amount of damage financial valuation in cases of defects and failures of flexible road pavements surface layers for forensic engineering practice in the Czech Republic.
Effects of Defects on Composite Structures Load Carrying Capacity: Delaminations at a Bi-Material Interface
Electrical machines fault simulator
Krátký, Michal ; Krbal, Michal (referee) ; Šlezingr, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is the laboratory task focused on vibrodiagnostics of rotating electrical machines. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is made of information related to rotating electrical machine mainly its faults and technical diagnostics. Besides that the vibrodiagnostics is involved into the theoretical part as well. The practical part deals with the design of laboratory task focused on vibrodiagnostics of rotating electrical machines. There is shown how vibrations influence the machine during the operation. There is used asynchronous machine 1LA7080 and vibrometer MV-5L and noncontact tachometer UNI-T UT372 for this experiment. The second task is the starting current diagnostics. The starting current ofthe engine with the rotor asymmetry 1LA7080 and rotor symmetry 1LA7090 is going to be analyzed here. On these engines will be shown, how current flicks affectthe magnetic field of the engine in the air gap.

Štulír, Vojtěch ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
In the productive operation any kind of plant is undesirable due to failure of system that all production has been stopped. Therefore, different security and backup devices that covered those failures are being developed and used.   This thesis describes vulnerabilities in the real operation which are important for treatment and reduce the risk of failure in the whole production. Here is analyzed problem dispatching computer failure and its solution using a module for covering failure. The function of module consists in backup during failure, their sending and treating them after system failure removal.  Gradually described, there is an analysis of the system and place the module into their architecture. After all details follow description of module development from design through implementation to deployment and testing in reality.
