The work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part, I reflected on the concept of authority, particularly with regard to the current context (postmodern situation) of ubringing and education. In the practical part, teachers' views of current problems with their authority and possible solutions were identified through questionnaires.
Parental authority through adolescents' eyes

The diploma work in its theoretical part is concerned with the parental authority in the difficult period of adolescence. The first chapter defines the term of authority. To clarify it, individual types of authorities are described and further on, the parental authority is dealt with in detail. Most attention is paid to what affects formation of parental authority the most and in what ways this authority can be kept. The second chapter characterizes adolescence as a very difficult period in the life of every individual. At this stage a man becomes independent. Also, attitudes towards values, morals and authorities are formed, and/or the existing attitudes are changed. The third chapter concentrates on emotional bond. In the beginning I characterize individual types of emotional bonds, aspects of their origin and subsequent changes during the period of adolescence. The emotional bond influences quality of other emotional relations and is related to the stability of the parental educational effect during the whole period of education. The fourth chapter focuses on the educational method in family, which is based on the parent-child emotional relation. Another important factor is educational guidance. The Importance of Motivation for a Leadership

Presented diploma thesis follows up a theme of employee motivation as one of the means of leadership practice. First theoretical part is focused on management theory, leadership proceeding from management practice and it presents how to motivate employees so they would work more efficient and satisfactory for an employer and for themselves. At the end of the theoretical part there is a brief introduction of business organisation itself, its structure. There are presented different types of organisational structure and types of leadership. Practical part follows with an issue concerning motivation of employees in a case study of practice in a specific company. It shows how employees are motivated and how this specific company uses motivational tools. Employees were all addressed in an anonymous questionnaire to give their opinion about this practice. The form contained questions about employees position in a company structure, their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with this position and what is their motivation. Based on the questionnaire the evaluation of main research thesis was made and concluded into recommendation for the company so the motivation of their employees would be as effective as possible as well as they would feel needed on their position and thus stay loyal to the company.

The aim of the bachelor thesis with the topic "Teacher's authority from students' points of view" was to find out information how students understand teacher's authority, if the teacher's authority is important for students, if students perceive their teachers as authority and review if the reception of authority differs for boys and girls. The thesis is divided into theoretical part and practical part. The aim of the theoretical part was summary finding relating to issues teacher's authority. The theoretical part is based on studying of vocational literary resources and their subsequent analysis, comparison and synthesis. The first part introduces definition of term authority and its typology. The second part deals with authority in educational process. The last part is focused on teacher's authority. Access Control System Based on ACP Protocol

This thesis addresses the problem of teacher s authority and its use as an educational principle, instrument, and objectives in the teacher s work. In the theoretical part, I processed information about the authority, teacher s personality, and other factors which affect the work of teachers and the building up of their authority. In the practical part, I summarized the results of my research, the research I carried out at business academies and elementary schools. I asked the teachers for their opinion on the authority. The result of this research, I have generalized and processed the results of this research in the summary.
Relations between school and families

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find out which relations exist and are developed between family and school. The thesis also focuses on the possibilities of cooperation and becoming a part of the school life offered by the institution of school to the parents and the way the parents use them. The thesis consists of two parts theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part explains main concepts relating to the family-school relations as well as the parent-teacher-pupil relations. It describes possible forms of cooperation and gives examples of literature that focuses on this problem. The empiric part is concerned with the research of pupils from selected elementary school classes and their parents who deal directly with teachers as well as school. The conclusion offers the evaluation of the results of the research and confronts them with the aims of this thesis.
