Comparison of assessment of the state of bridges in Germany and the Czech Republic

With the increasing age, amount and demands on the quality of bridges, the role of assessing their condition is increasingly important both in the Czech Republic and in Germany. This bachelor thesis compares the general state of bridges in both countries in its theoretical part; furthermore it compares the standards, terminology, the way of keeping record and evaluation. The practical part is reserved for survey and assessment of a bridge in Germany and for comparison purposes also in the Czech Republic. In its end the thesis summarizes the most fundamental differences between Czech and German methods.
The Czech Environmental Inspectorate

This thesis aims to introduce the Czech Environmental Inspectorate as a specialized body of the state administration with a state-wide authority which is subordinated to the Ministry of the Environment. The objective of the Inspectorate is particularly to exercise state supervision connected with enforcement of corrective actions and sanctions. The Czech Environmental Inspection was established in 1991 with its original competence in a field of forest protection, as of today it has competences with respect to all environmental components. The merit of this thesis is an analysis of statutory regulations regarding the protection of the environment according to which the Inspectorate exercises its competences and authority. The result of this analysis is definition of the competences of the Inspectorate in individual fields of environment protection. In the thesis I also focus on problematic provisions of particular legal regulations and in final chapter I address also a possibility of reorganisation of the Inspectorate in the future.
Legal aspects of on-site inspection of the Office for the Protection of Competition and the European Commission

The Master's thesis describes and analyses the legislation of the on-site inspections conducted by the Czech Office for the Protection of Competition and the European Commission. The competition authorities may investigate business and other premises in order to find evidence proving the violation of competition rules. The on- site inspection or so called dawn raid is a main investigative and the most effective tool of the competition authorities in proceedings concerning the possible breach of competition law. The main aim of this thesis is to provide a detailed description of the relevant legislation and case law, to highlight any legal issues connected with on-site inspections and offer solutions of these issues, and finally to examine guarantees of the fundamental rights of the undertakings during the inspection. The thesis consists of eight chapters. Chapter One and Two are introductory and describe basic terms connected with the competition law. In Chapter Three the thesis deals with the scope of relevant Czech and EU legislation. Chapter Four is concerned with the guarantees of fundamental rights within on-site inspections. Czech Environmental Inspectorate

This thesis addresses the problem of Czech Environmental Inspectorate and the general protection of the environment. I focus on the history of the protection of the environment, both at international, European and national. Further, I develop inspections in our area and grounds of Inspection, its scope (both substantive and territorial) and its competence in all major components. For comparison, I also deal with environmental protection in other European countries (I chose two Western European countries, which have a relatively long history of environmental protection). Most, however, devoted to the performance of supervision, both in general and specifically as one of the powers of inspection to all five areas. At the end of the deal by providing information and differences in process the individual laws. The aim is to introduce the reader to general environmental protection, and especially with the functioning of Inspections and its importance.

Unannounced on site inspections in competition The purpose of my thesis is to analyse unannounced on site inspections in the competition law with regards to the Czech and European Union legal system. The thesis is composed of six chapters. Chapter one is introductory and defines the aims of the thesis. Chapter Two briefly discusses the basic legal framework of this area of law. Chapter Three is subdivided into six subchapters and sets out the competence of competition authorities including the cooperation within the European Competition Network. Chapter Four consists of two parts and concentrates on problems resulting from specific administrative proceedings before the Office for the Protection of Competition. Chapter Five is composed of fourteen subchapters. Each of them deals with specific aspects and details of inspections in a broader perspective. This paper addresses the issue of revision of electrical equipment according to ČSN 33 1500: 1990 and ČSN 33 2000-6. The aim of this work is to prepare a revision of the connection of electrical machines in the laboratory. When carrying out inspections serious deficiencies were found with respect to electrical safety. They were designed to take remedial steps. Currently electrical equipment is not capable of safe operation.
The issue of the revision corrected wiring residential building

Bachelor’s thesis deals with the verification of electrical installations in residential buildings. The task of the thesis is to get acquainted with the requirements of the regulations with a focus on Czech technical standard CSN 33 2000-6, CSN 33 1500 and follow-up. Specifically, the information gathered is used to the implementation of the review installations in renovated apartment building. The aim is to apply the theoretical knowledge and information for the practical verification of the electrical installation.

This diploma thesis covers with the utilization of information systems for monitoring of small transport aircraft operational parameters focusing on mathematical and economical methods. The thesis contains overview of methods usable in various types of aircraft operation. It also deals with creation of Cessna 208B aircraft`s schedule of work. Network graphs are used for analysis purposes. The diploma thesis also includes methodology of information obtainment and requirements determination of information systems for monitoring of small transport aircraft operational parameters.
