Information System Design
Snášelová, Martina ; Kindlová, Dita (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the design of a suitable information system for the operation of the shared workshop of Temple of Creation s.r.o. The introductory part of the thesis contains the theoretical background, which forms the basis for the analytical part of the current state of the company and the solution itself. Implementation of the proposed information system will be one of the possibilities how to increase the availability of the services offered by the creative center, simplify the processes and ensure the smooth running of the company.
Skill Matrix Plugin for Kanboard.org
Válka, Jan ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Ščuglík, František (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a plugin for monitoring knowledge of existing Kanboard users. The main goal of this plugin is to evaluate employees' abilities and assign them labels. Based on these attributes, it's possible to filter individual users. In this thesis I have created a tool that will facilitate the process of deciding which employee to assign to either new or current project.
The Analysis of Databases Suitable for IoT Environment
Kohout, Petr ; Vrána, Roman (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
In recent years, the volume of data stored in applications of all types has increased. As the volume of data grows, the demands on databases increase. The classic relational databases are no longer suitable. Therefore, it is switching to new, non-relational storage (called NoSQL). During this work, NoSQL databases focusing on processing large data volumes were analyzed and compared for their performance and system requirements. In addition, requirements for new sensor data storage for IoTCloud project were specified. Driver for database Cassandra was implemented and integrated into the IoTCLoud project.
Information System For an Organization of Group Stays
Mechl, Stanislav ; Hypský, Roman (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and develop information system for Salesiánský klub mládeže, z. s. Dům Ignáce Stuchlého ve Fryštáku, which is formative educational facility that organizes leisure activities for youth. Some of theese activities are for example summer camps, weekend events and courses. My task was designing database to record events and participators and also developing user interface that enables users to apply for an event. With utilisation of stored data will be possible to make work of employees more efficient. Especially in procedures related to evidence of participators, communication with them and monitoring count of events that one person attended. In addition system should store data about donations from persons and companies.

The comparison of the effectiveness of chosen channels of direct marketing of Sephora company in the pre-Christmas period 2017
Pomykalová, Iveta ; Máchová, Eva (advisor) ; Báča, Ladislav (referee)
Sephora is currently the world leader in the beauty retail industry. Gaining and keeping loyal customers plays a significant part in its marketing strategy. Chosen tools for accomplishing this goal are the loyalty club and direct marketing communication targeting its members. The focus of the first part of this thesis is to introduce direct marketing and its main tools followed by their usage and practical evaluation. For this evaluation, the author chose Sephora's direct marketing campaign from the pre-Christmas period of 2017. Moreover, the theoretical part of this thesis presents Customer related management (CRM), its types and benefits to a company, loyalty clubs and the importance of impeccable database segmentation as all those elements are essential for a successful direct marketing campaign. The practical part of this thesis analyses the chosen segments of the pre-Christmas campaign and applied direct marketing tools. Chosen methodology for this part was descriptive analysis. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of chosen tools as well as to select the most effective ones for future communication between the company and its customers which could lead to more effective allocation of company's monetary resources.
Accelerating structure search in small-molecule databases
Kratochvíl, Miroslav ; Bednárek, David (advisor) ; Hoksza, David (referee)
Structure search is one of the valuable capabilities of small-molecule databases. Available chemical cartridges typically provide acceptable search performance for processing user queries, but do not scale satisfactorily with dataset size. This thesis presents Sachem, a new open-source chemical car- tridge that implements a novel method of substructure search, which em- ploys newly designed fingerprints stored in inverted indexes. The perfor- mance of the method was assessed on datasets that contain tens of mil- lions of molecules. Comparison of the performance to that of other available cartridges revealed improvements in overall search speed, scaling potential and screen-out efficiency. Additionally, the thesis presents an application of Sachem; a SPARQL service that augments existing semantic services by including results of substructure and similarity searches in small-molecule databases. The result offers new possibilities for simpler querying of the interoperable heterogeneous data sources. 1
Měření vertikálního zatížení pod jednotlivými nápravami traktorů
MRAZÍK, Václav
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a database of parameters to enable computer modeling and simulation of soil compaction resulting from vertical loads under individual tractor axles. The tractors used for obtaining these parameters were selected in the Author's place of residence and close surroundings. The theoretical part provides tractor comparison by purpose, chassis, frame, fuel, and gearbox. Furthemore the comparison of different types of tyres is included as these affect tractor's weight distribution in relation to the ground. In the practical part, the Author gathered parameters required for the database from a total of 20 tractors, these included manufacturers such as Massey Ferguson, Stey, John Deere, Zetor and New Holland. Some parameters included the vertical loads for front and rear axles, which was then calculated as a percentage of the total load, tractor dimensions, tire sizes and manufacturer, power output, tank volume and year of manufacture.
