The Impact of Financial Crisis on The Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises.

The thesis deals with the influence of the global financial and economic crisis on the functioning and management of small and medium enterprises in the Czech Republic. In this work the emphasis is based mainly on support from the state, and the European Union and other bodies involved in this problem. In the practical part of the diploma thesis the analysis is held on small business management - the company Pravé hořické trubičky s.r.o. The main emphasis is given to its functionning in times of crisis, and comparison with the industry. The analysis is performed using basic indicators and tools of financial analysis and benchmarking.
Business Plan of a Small Enterprise

This diploma paper contains a business plan for Jiří Hrubeš, which has been processed on the basis of theoretical and practical knowledge as the base for setting up his new business of cabinet-making, wood-carving and renovation and which is also supposed to serve as the basis for getting the needed start-up money support in the form of interest-free credit from support programme START. Being granted interest-free credit from the START programme, the hope for success of the project and its implementation in future is assured.
Implementation, impact and sustainability of educational projects in SMEs funded by the ESF

The aim of this study is to compare implementation, impact and sustainability of educational projects in small and medium enterprises which are funded by the European Social Fund. The results of the analysis should give us an answer to the question whether the financial support is used effectively and contributes to the fulfilment of its objectives or the potential of these funds remains untapped. The theoretical part deals with the current situation analysis of training and development of employees in SMEs, different methods of measuring the effectiveness of company training as well as the opportunities of training promotion in SMEs with support of the ESF. The practical part is focused on comparing the implementation of educational projects funded by the Operational Programme Prague -- Adaptability and Operational Programme Human Resources and Employment in chosen SMEs. These companies are compared with enterprises that fund their educational programmes with their own resources and with respect to differences resulting from their size measured by number of employees. This comparison enables us to assess the effectiveness of the use of public funds in this area.

This diploma thesis deals with integration of Competitive Intelligence and Business Intelligence into one solution, which would provide small and medium enterprises with maximum amount of information to help them make the right decision. The primary goal of the diploma thesis is to define user's requirements for such system and find for these requirements suitable information resources. Secondary goal is to analyze new Microsoft service called Windows Azure Marketplace Datamarket and its information resources, which could possibly be beneficial for this thesis. Gained information will be used to design the integrated solution. This diploma thesis could be used by companies, which are interested in solution like this, or by companies, which develop these solutions.

The bachelor thesis analyzes the position and the role of small and medium enterprises in the economy of the Czech Republic based on the Concept of Small and Medium Enterprises, especially the concepts in years 2007-2013 approved by Resolution of Government of the Czech Republic No 392 of the year 2006. The thesis deals with services of CzechTrade foreign offices and evaluation of the services contribution to small and medium enterprises. The first two parts of the thesis describe the state support of export and CzechTrade agency. The following part of the thesis provides details about services of CzechTrade foreign offices. The last part of the thesis evaluates the services contribution to small and medium enterprises. The thesis on the basis of survey compares the state's and companies' point of view regarding the countries of priority interest for export and it appraises the level of cooperation between the public and private sector.

Small and medium sized enterprises(SME) play a crucial role in Slovak economy. However, Slovak market is relatively small, therefore SMEs are forced to penetrate international markets. If they want to succeed, they have to offer cheaper or better goods than their foreign competitors. Authors offer many solutions how to improve competitiveness. Thats why I decided to analyse main factors which directly or indirectly have an impact on companies'export performance.
Regulation accounting of small and medium enterprises from international perspective

The aim of this diploma work is to show the differences or similarities between financial reporting of small and medium enterprises based on International Financial Reporting Standard - IFRS for SMEs and British accounting standard - FRSSE. Introductory chapters are devoted to the principles of dividing enterprisies by the criteria of size on the first place, and also to the short characteristics of different kinds of regulation of accounting in the world, especially regulation based on IASB and British accounting standards. These introductory chapters serve as information basis for the main part of the diploma work. This part is represented by the analysis of financial reporting of small and medium enterprises based on IFRS for SMEs and British accounting standard FRSSE and consecutive comparison of these two ways of financial reporting of small and medium enterprises, which is also the last part of the diploma work. In the scope of this comparison there are, except for basic differencies, also analysis of differences in goodwill and leasing with occasional view on certain problems in the conditions of Czech Republic.
Analysis of Promotion of Enterprising in Small and Medium-Size Businesses in the Czech Republic

The main aim of this work is to describe available programs from the structural funds EU, national programs for the support of small and medium enterprises in the Czech Republic and the Fund of Vysočina. The second part of this work is focused on processing a project for application of financial support in the selected company.
