The active magnetic bearing (AMB) control is a complex problem, as it is fast, unstable and nonlinear system. The contribution deals with the simulation verification of AMB control using conventional PSD controller with nonlinear forward compensator. The automated universal approximator based on locally weighted learning (namely Receptive Field Weighted Regression - RFWR method) is used as the compensator.
Tax and Legal Structure of Tescoma Group

The thesis is focused on holding companies legislation in the Czech Republic and related issue of tax optimization in the international business environment. First aim of this thesis is to map control and influence relations and therefrom arising legal obligations within Tescoma Group. Second aim is to explore Tescoma Group from the point of view of tax optimization and to compare advantages and disadvantages of alternative structures of the group.
Introduction of controlling system to the company

In connection with efforts to improve the way of managing business, the controlling system is being introduced more often than ever before as an inseparable part of modern business management concepts. The aim of this work is to implement a controlling system to the company and illustrate possible ways for using controlling tools in practice. The theoretical part is devoted to the importance and functions of controlling system in the company. The reader gets familiar with analytical tools used for strategic and operational levels of management, planning and control. The theoretical knowledge is applied to a particular company in the second part of this diploma paper and deals with the concept of the controlling system introduction based on its needs.
Quality of hospitality services

The bachelor thesis is focused on the quality of hospitality services. It aims to assess the quality of food and beverage facilities in Prague. In the first part, food and beverage facilities and their importance for tourism are characterised there. The second point discussed in this part is quality and its assessment in the hospitality industry. Worldwide recognised standards, claims on the quality set by the legislation in the Czech republic and several restaurant guides and their appraisal of quality are described there. The assessment of the quality of hospitality services in Prague is contained in the second part. For this assessment the results of the controls of food and beverage facilities in Prague and own questionnaire survey were used.
Management joint-stock company in the form of sports club

Bachelor thesis closer look at the management of joint-stock company in a non-specific form of business. The aim was to present the essence of successful entrepreneurship hockey club, acting at the highest level in the long term. Theoretical foundations of a survey of management and managerial procedures. Second, the theoretical part is aimed at analyzing the management of selected club. Final summary contains the findings and proposals selected issues from the perspective of the student Faculty of Management.
The Grant Control of a Tax Administrator

The thesis deals with the problems of control over grants executed by tax offices. It discusses grants in general: their classification, sources, providing, records, control and breach of budgetary discipline. The practical part is a discussion of the grant control of the Tax Office in Český Krumlov between 2001-2006, specifically on the analysis of its results and evaluation of its efficiency. The difficulty administering grants is described and several particular examples of the process deficiencies and ambiguity are given. On account of these deficiencies, a comparison of some providers within property replacement programmes was carried out. Its results were a basis for a proposal of general conditions for grants.
