Development of musicality in the older school age within the summer camp

The thesis deals with the development of musicality in the older school age. The theoretical part describes musicality, musical abilities, talents, musical activities. It characterizes the older school age with regard of musical development as well. It also deals with leisure time and summer camp. The second part deals with suitable topics for the contents of the summer camp. Activities and games were selected in order to support the development of musicality of the target group.
Teacher's musical skills in pre-school education

Quality music education, motivation and support from managers can affect the quality of music activities. Teachers are often discouraged due to the time-consuming and difficulties in acquiring good quality music education however, musical activities affect the overall development of a preschool child and their frequency and quality depend on the preschool teacher. When educating music in any form, the teacher encounters problems associated with the implementation of musical activities. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to draw attention to the importance of musical skills, abilities and knowledge of preschool teachers and to map the risks affecting musical activity in the educational offer in connection with the musical skills of the teacher. The research was conducted using a questionnaire survey among preschool teachers. In the evaluation of the research survey, it was found that the negative aspects of musical activity mainly affect newly qualified teachers. By gaining experience, these risks are mitigated or even lost.
Development of musicality students at elementary school

The bachelor thesis is focused on musicality as a concept, the development of which is influenced by external and internal aspects. The development of musicality, ie musical abilities, can be created through musical activities. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the definition of musicality, motivation and relation to music it also points out the musical development of man and psychological musical concepts that are associated with musicality. In the field of music psychology, it deals with the development of musical abilities through musical activities that are used in primary schools. Deviations that may occur in music are also mentioned, they are a disorder of musical abilities and higher manifestations of music. In its practical part, this bachelor's thesis focuses on a fun and educational form of developing musical skills and activities in practice.
Structure and Research of Out-Of-School Influences on the Musical Development of the Child

The Diploma Thesis deals with the matters of children's musicality and the main factors influencing it. The thesis includes a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the musicality issue and its structure, as well as on the factors that participate in this matter. Special attention is put to the out-of-school influences on the development of musicality. There is an outline of the influence of a family and its members, characteristics of a contemporary family and a present-day lifestyle. The thesis also deals with a social group influence and the impact of mass media, such as television, computers and the Internet. One of the subchapters is dedicated to the out-of-school artistic interests of children; another one deals with how music around us can act in a form of commercials, or in a store, for example. The practical part of this thesis is formed through a research oriented to the out-of-school influences mentioned above. This research was held at Libčická Primary School, Prague. Developing creativity of pupil at the primary school through notation software

In today's fast changing world, global development of information and communication technology significantly affects many fields of human activity including music and education. As a result, questions concerning effective using of modern technology in musical education have become a major topic within the pedagogical community. Presented dissertation thesis examines utilization of notation software as a modern teaching tool. The software was specifically used to further improve musical creativity of pupils at secondary school (grades 6 to 9). The very first part of the thesis focuses on research framework, contemporary musical technologies, and available notation software tools. A special attention was drawn to MuseScore software that was used in the research. Last but not least, this part of the thesis outlines vital facts connected with musical creativity field of knowledge. Second part of the thesis is dedicated to author's research and starts with determination of project scope, goals, and basic working hypothesis. Music as a Significant Means for Speech Cultivation in Pre-School Children

This dissertation of an interdisciplinary character involves music education, music psychology, linguistics and special education. In the theoretical part of the thesis the author explains the term timbre from the musicological and linguistic perspective; characterizes timbre hearing as a musical hearing ability; introduces and compares timbre and phonemic hearing tests; describes the development of musicality and speech of pre-school children from an ontogenetic perspective, and emphasizes hearing atten- tion as a prerequisite for their advancement. The author also characterizes disruption of these abilities and describes reeducation therapies that involve elements of music education and mu- sic therapy. A field study described in the practical part of the thesis has a form of fundamental research and experiment. Research participants were 180 pre-school children. A field study is addressing the relationship between speech and musical manifestations of pre-school children with atypi- cal speech development. Music-movements activities in development of musicality at primary school-aged children

The diploma thesis is devoted to the development of music and musical movement activities at a younger school age. It consists of theoretical and practical part. The first parts acquaints the reader with the characteristics of younger school age and with the somatic- physiological, psychological and social characteristics of this period. It also describes the means that affect the child's musicality. This work lists the basic music-movement activities and their important aspects. The conclusion of this part is focused on expertise publications focusing on piano playing,where the authors in their works use movement elements or musical-movement activities to directly improve the influence of playing the piano. The practical part is based on theoretical knowledge. We chose a pedagogical experiment with the technique of one-group and we used piano compositions fot this purpose. Progressive impact of creative intonation on the pupil's musical appreciation development

The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first part summarizes the theoretical knowledge of musical-psychological categories, which also includes musicality. The next chapter of the theoretical part is also focused on this theme. The last chapter is creativity and its characteristics and specifics in use in primary school. In the practical part was used the method of parallel group technique. Twenty two pupils took part in the experimental teaching and the same number of pupils represented the control group. The respondents were from two 4th grade classes of primary school. Moreover, in the practical part there is an analysis of the results of empirical research, which was realized by collective screening of musicality. Research has shown that pupils developed through creative intonation achieve better musicality than pupils trained in conventional music education.
