Employees Training and Development in the Company

This thesis is about the training and development of employees in the company. Currently, it is very important for every company to have a sufficiently educated employees. Employee training and development is an integral part of human resource management in the company. Employees can increase their knowledge, abilities and acquire new skills, especially due to the fact that quality human resources are the wealth of the company and may be a major competitive advantage in the saturated market. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is processed by literature review, a summary of the studying professional literature. This part focuses primarly on description of learning and education process. Furthermore, this section focuses on current trends in this area and the selection of an external provider of educational services. In the practical part of the thesis is introduced specific educational company, its offer public seminars and a brief description of the current state of external agencies in the Czech Republic, dealing with managerial education. As in the market is a significant number of competitors, this thesis focuses primarly on evaluation of the role of external agencies in the education and development of managers and identification of key factors during selection of an external provider of educational services.
Employees Training and Development in the Company

The thesis focuses on employee training and development in a selected company and its goal is to define basic terms related to the training process, assess the current standard of training at the customer centre of the selected training company and to suggest possible improvements. The theoretical part is based on the secondary literature listed at the end of the thesis. It defines theoretical terms related to the complete training process that serve as a basis for comparison with empirical data from the research. The practical part evaluates the current condition of the training process and possibilities of development for the consultants working at the customer centre of the selected training company. As for the method, the research relies on questionnaires as a source of information from people responsible for training as well as on electronic questionnaires sent to the customer centre employees. This part addresses, above all, the current state of training process, which consists of several stages: identification of training needs, scheduling training plans, selecting appropriate training methods and implementing and evaluating the actual training. This part also briefly discusses the question of training efficiency. Employee training and development in the company presents one of the most important competitive advantages available to the given company and as such, it is necessary for attaining a prominent position in the market.

This thesis is focused on employee training and development in the nonprofit organization Arcidiecézní charita Praha. The main goal of this thesis is to characterize and evaluate the current state of employee education focusing on social workers and workers in social services and propose appropriate recommendations which will lead to improvement of systematic employee education in the organization. The thesis is divided into two section. The first section will characterize the basics concepts such as teaching people, education and development of employees. It will define theoretical knowledge linked to business education and describe individual steps which are needed to accomplish systematic education of employees in the organization. The second section of the thesis is dedicated to the actual research in the organization. For the research were selected both qualitative and quantitative methods. The information in the first place were obtained by interview with methodologist of social services, then interview with the heads of individual departments and to be precise these information were completed by questionnaire survey among the employees themselves. Based on synthesis of information obtained from the interview and questionnaire survey were drawn conclusions about actual state of educational system and own suggestions and recommendations to increase the overall effectiveness of training in organization.
Podpora mobility osob a transferu znalostí v EU: Erasmus+ na příkladu projektu venkovského turismu v rámci mobility mládeže

This bacherol thesis deals with the analysis of various possibilities of knowledge transfer in short-term projects under auspices of Erasmus+ Programme valid for the period of 2014-2020. The theoretical part briefly defines relevant concepts associated with mobility, regional policy and knowledge transfer. Furthemore, it outlines development of the educational policy of European Union, impacts of such programs supporting the mobility, and description of the Erasmus+ Programme, which is in the case of this thesis essential. The main emphasis is placed on demarcation of procedural and administrative requisites preceding the submission of the grant application for short-term projects of so called youth exchanges. The outcome of this thesis is a model youth exchange and its possibility of implementation in practise.
Informal learning as support of formal education

The thesis deals with key concepts of formal education, nonformal education and training outside of the classroom. The second part focuses on means that support formal education. This is the content of education, environment, methods, teacher-child relationship and the relationship between the children. The role of a teacher is important he chooses activities and affects their progress. The third chapter is a case study of contact center Maják, tutoring children and organizing other leisure activities for Roma children. This section is a description of the facility, applied theoretical knowledge, personal experience with facility and an interview with a social worker, children visiting the facility and Mrs teacher from school, where children go. The interviews show that children who attend Maják are more motivated to learn and they improve their results in school.
The analysis of educational portals for the area of ICT profession.

This diploma thesis deals with electronic educational portals and their applicability in the area of ICT. The aim is to determine key knowledge and skills of ICT professionals and assign those to courses from educational portals. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists of definitions of issues elaborated in this work. The particular attention is paid to education and e-learning. Practical part seeks to match key professional knowledge and skills with each ICT professions. In this part graduates'depth of knowledge and skills required by employers are also described. The employers' requirements date to years 2006 and 2010. In the end of the thesis educational portals with most extensive supply of ICT courses in the Czech Republic are listed. From the supply of portals are chosen those courses which follow the knowledge from previous chapters. Consequently, these portals are compared.
Research of product of Youth information center in the town of Tabor and their sequence to informal education

This thesis tries to point out the possibilities of European Youth in Action programme for non-formal education of young people. The main target group of the Programme are young people between 15 and 28 years. Its general objectives are develop solidarity and promote tolerance among young people, in particular in order to foster social cohesion in the European Union and foster mutual understanding between young people in different countries. The aim of my thesis is to analyse and describe work and activities of the youth information center in the town of Tabor. Part of this thesis is created by research and proposals of the further development of work and activities of the Youth information center. The outputs of the processed questionnaire show knowledge and experience of young people which participated in youth exchanges. The outputs are very important in order to make a complete picture about these exchanges, about preferences of young people.
Competitiveness of Human Capital. Influence of Human Capital Investments On the Firm's Competitiveness

The role of human capital in the overall economic development towards knowledge economy and innovations is fundamental. Without human resources, which make up the essence of human capital, we would have no innovative products or services, no new strategies and processes. The development and continuous increase of human capital is one of the prerequisites of an economic growth. The aim of this research was to test the effects of human capital investments on the economic results of enterprises. The research was based on an extensive questionnaire survey, which was further completed with expert interviews. The interviewees were HR professionals from selected companies. The main hypothesis was formed as an assumption about a positive dependence between human capital investments and economic successfulness of companies represented with value added per employee. The hypothesis was verified at a high significance level. Further this work tries to find answers to several key questions related to the main hypothesis: What are the key competences of a competitive human capital in the Czech companies? How can companies efficiently invest into the human capital in order to increase the company's competitiveness? What is the role of companies as the initiators of human capital development? How did the economic crisis change the companies' attitude towards human capital investments? The work further proposes how to diminish the main inefficiencies of companies' investments in human capital. Great attention is also paid to the comparison of various sources that measure and compare the volume of human capital in the Czech Republic.
Analysis of educational portals on the Czech market

The thesis inquires into the area of electronic education in the form of educational portals. It aims to carry out a research of educational portals on the Czech market and subsequent analysis of the portals, which offer users the services for the support of education and schooling. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on defining the terms of formal and non-formal education, describes examples of their usage. Furthermore, it deals with electronic education in the form of e-learning, defines e-learning from different points of view, and describes its historical development, forms and instruments. The work then analyses 17 portals, two of them in detail -- they represent both formal and non-formal education. The analysis offers information about portals' administrators, range of offered services as well as business models, used by the portals.
Dividing of the leisure activity according to the target orientation.

The topic of the Bc. thesis is to introduce various forms of dividing of leisure activity. The beginning of this thesis attends to the ground notion ?leisure time?. The bulk of the thesis is concerned with the leisure time activity, its ground dividing, forms and characteristic components. The next chapters describe differences between the formal and informal education. Then there are presented new theories of dividing of the leisure activity on the basis of the objective setting of education, namely from the view its specification and the way of fill. The targets of the leisure activity of several leisure facilities are compared and analyzed in the conclusion of the thesis.
