Dynamic Analysis of Valve Train Drive of Six-cylinder Engine with 24 Valves
Guláš, Tomáš ; Píštěk, Václav (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the dynamic analysis of OHV pushrod valve train drive of the old-new conception of 6-cylinder tractor engine with 24 valves made by Zetor Tractors, a.s.. There is a requirement to create an analytical model and design valve springs for the engine. The work also points to the current analytical methods of appropriate simulation software used in automotive industry.
Experimental Car Formula Faster Rebuild
Zarambukas, Michalis ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
The main purpose of this diploma thesis is the experimental vehicle Formula Faster engine reconstruction. The current Ford Kent 1600cc engine will be replace by the Škoda 1.4 MPI engine. The next task is to analyse kinematic properties of the front axle and subsequent optimization and transformation of steering rod placing which relates to wheel toe and bump travel. The last part is concerned with steering wheel mounting transformation, concretely with reconstruction to obtain removable steering wheel using rapid coupling.
Conceptual design of two-seat high performance car
Straka, Martin ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
is diploma thesis deals with design concept of two-seater sports car with the main focus on chassis torsional stiffness and axle kinematics. The main idea started with some paper sketches which were later transferred to the 3D model with all the main parts (engine, differential, driver etc.) using CATIA V5 design program. Then the torsional stiffness was counted using FEM software ANSYS 12.0. Finally the axis geometry during bump/rebump movement of the wheel was simulated in MBS system ADAMS 2007.
Design of Single Cylinder 4-stroke SI Engine
Číž, Petr ; Rasch, František (referee) ; Rasch, František (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
Thesis deals with design of the experimental single-cylinder spark ignition engines for research purposes. The main purpose of this work is the design crankcase. Summary of possible constructions of spark ignition engines is included. Basic dimensions and 3-D design of the experimental engine resulted from the summary. The numerical analysis of proposed crankcase in ADAMS (MBS) and ANSYS (FEM) software environment is also part of the work. Generally, the proposed solution of the experimental engine was focused on the universality and simplicity of the design.
Cranktrain of In-line Three-cylinder Diesel Engine
Langer, Zdeněk ; Svída, David (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
Increasing requirements on products quality e.g. internal combustion engines, and growing demand on producing major parts lead to the giant development of the engines. With the engine development also great progress in the software tools has come. By decreasing costs on production of the prototypes and by support of the measured data the verification of the computational models is possible. This development has connection with using CAE tools like CAD systems, FEM programs and multi-body systems. The subject of this thesis is about using these systems to solve cranktrain dynamic. Also cranktrain dynamic results are introduced there. Interaction between the engine block and the crankshaft is solved by the hydrodynamic bearing model. All simulation methods are presented on a diesel free-cylinder in-line engine.
Development engineering for crankshafts
Škrášek, Roman ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Vopařil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deal with issue of developing crankshafts for combustion engines. It describes particular steps of design process and focuses on using of modern methods, which make this process markedly shorter and better quality. The thesis also focuses on fatigue life of crankshafts and on methods of influencing fatigue life.
Adjustment and modification made to the serially produced combustion engine to get an engine for racing purposes
Závodný, Tomáš ; Knotek, Jiří (referee) ; Maršálek, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis analyses the modification of the serially produced combustion engine to get an engine for racing purposes. The first part is conceived as searching and is focused on why this serially produced engine was modified to racing engine and which adjustments were made on this naturally aspirated engine. Another part was dedicated to design simulation in the software ADAMS MD R3 and the results of these simulations were processed and evaluated. Conclusion contains a comparison of the results from the software and results from an actual engine dynamometer, and what is the overall success of the project in real life.
Simulation verify the dynamic behavior of the portal machine tool
Danda, Libor ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with summary of simulation software for the simulation of the dynamic behavior of machines, creating a simulation model of the machine in MSC.ADAMS and experimental measurement of cutting forces. It also deals with dynamics simulations axis motion and deformation analysis of selected components of the machine. Finally, they are designed to be structural adaptations in order to increase the dynamic stability of the machine.
The causes of the current economic crisis and its impact on the world economy
Rýdl, Filip ; Jílek, Josef (advisor) ; Mládek, Josef (referee)
The work seeks to analyze the causes and impacts of the current financial crisis. It deals with the theoretical view and definition of financial crisis, along with a brief historical excursion. A significant part of the work is devoted to describe the financial crisis in the United States and in selected, economically important, countries. In the context of the causes of and solutions to the current crisis period are remembered views of different economic schools, which are very different. A significant part is devoted to the description of institutional architecture and function of the financial system. Important part is the description of the functioning of lending money (such interest and regulatory policy), because the author sees in it a long series of "unhealthy" factors, which helped the emergence of a financial crisis. The aim of this work is to give a komplete, non-ideological coloring, look at the biggest financial crisis in modern history.
Risks and options analysis of selected structured instruments
Balák, Tomáš ; Veselá, Jitka (advisor)
This paper is dedicated to structured financial instruments MBS and CDO. First chapter deals with present-day trends on capital markets with the focus on the securitization trend and credit default swap. Characteristics and evaluation of chosen investment instruments follows, along with the focus on the possibilities and risks connected with them. The last chapter of the work deals with the impact of constituent instruments on the onset of economic crisis and analyzes the possibilities of regulation and the status of rating agencies.
