The group Sociální skupina Ho-Ho-Ko-Ko (1925-1927) in context of postwar realisms in Germany, France and Italy
Mazancová, Dagmar ; Lahoda, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Bydžovská, Lenka (referee) ; Winter, Tomáš (referee)
The goal of this work is to chart in detail the activities of the group Sociální skupina Ho-Ho-Ko-Ko and to contextualize it with the postwar realisms in Germany, France and Italy. The thesis briefly defines the variety of realistic tendencies in the twenties - neoclassicism, primitivism, metaphysical painting, new objektivity, and magic realism and characterizes their principal representatives in the above mentioned countries. The production of the group, which is the pivotal theme, is introduced on the basis of reconstruction of the exhibition catalogues, exploration of theoretical background through newly found archival documents, estimation of both known and newly found reviews of temporary newspapers and magazines. For detailed examination of the group's specificity are its works of art, divided into iconography chapters, compared with the examples of European realistic tendencies. A special consideration is devoted to the program proclamations and the scale in which the group succeeded in their implementation.

The positions of finite and non-finite subject clauses
Smolka, Vladislav ; Dušková, Libuše (advisor) ; Šaldová, Pavlína (referee) ; Urbanová, Ludmila (referee)
Owing to its typological characteristics, English displays limited positional mobility of clause constituents, their position within the clause being an important signal of their syntactic function. At the same time, clause constituents may move out of their usual position if prompted by factors such as emphasis, structural complexity, information status, etc. What is true of clause constituents also applies to some extent to whole clauses. Unlike coordinate clauses in a compound sentence, subordinate clauses, particularly adverbial, may vary in their position, either preceding, following or even being inserted into their superordinate clause, with the resulting linear arrangement reflecting the relative weight of information which they convey, with the informationally heavier element placed finally. The position of nominal clauses and nominal relative clauses is determined largely by the usual position of the syntactic element they represent (i.e. the object clauses following the matrix clause predicate, etc.). Subject clauses, which represent the focus of this dissertation, are basically limited to two positions in relation to their matrix clauses: they either occupy the canonical initial position (i.e. before the matrix clause predicate) or are extraposed towards the end of the sentence, following the...

Nutrigenetic and nutrigenomic aspects at selected pathological states
Krupková, Lucie ; Klusoňová, Hana (referee) ; Hronek, Miloslav (advisor)
DIPLOMA THESIS Nutrigenetic and nutrigenomic aspects at selected pathological states. Mentor of Diploma Thesis: PharmDr. Miloslav Hronek, Ph.D. Lucie Krupková, 2010 Abstract The effect of nutrition to human health is undisputable. Certain dietary compounds can influence each of us in different ways. Although people have almost identical genome, there are imperceptible diffenrences that make us unique. This uniqueness is shown in different responses to specific nutrients. The matter of diet, genes and gen-diet interactions are solved by two developing scientific disciplines - nutrigenomics and nutrigenetics. Nutrigenomics aims to determine the influence of common dietary ingredients on the genome, and attempts to relate the resulting different phenotypes to differences in the cellular and genetic response of the biological system. Nutrigenetics identifies and characterizes gene variants associated with differential responses to nutrients, and relates these variants to disease states. Scientific research is focused primarily on chronic diseases including obesity, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus type 2 and cancer. The onset of the diseases is caused by enviromental factors on the one hand, and by individual's genotype on the other hand. Nutrigenetics searches for candidates' genes whose...

Tóthová, Tímea ; Cibulková, Petra (advisor) ; Trávníčková, Zuzana (referee)
The thesis deals with the development of Slovak-Hungarian relations from the 50`s on. The need for close cooperation between Czechoslovakia and Hungary emerged during the building of the dam Gabčíkovo-Nagymaros. The period of Kadarism in Hungary and the inauguration of Alexander Dubček into the post of Secretary of Communist Party favoured bilateral plans in Eastern block. Undergoing social and political changes in the 80`s caused politization of the issue in Hungary and different perception by both sides of the Treaty of 16 September 1977. Even after the unilateral execution of the option-C by Slovakia and the International Court of Justice judgement, Slovakia still insists on the implementation of the foundng Treaty. Hungary now seems to be trying to evade this unpleasant question of the past.

Variability inanimate Maskulin a literary language problems at school (with a focus on lo singular )
Vybíral, Petr ; Kvapilová Brabcová, Radoslava (advisor) ; Sgall, Petr (referee) ; Minářová, Eva (referee)
For a declension (inflection, declination) of Czech nouns is typical a richness of inflexional types and their endings. They either mark strongish a homonymy (e.g . type outhouse/'staveni), or a synonymic. Through their positional final variants (allomorphics) are generated a synonymic endings doublet forms (formative variants). A description of distribution these variant endings is in Czech morphological interesting and doctrinal task. Namely above all therefore, we learn to understand especially specification a literary language at school. Then we have to keep it as much as is possible, because we have a sense of responsibility to our literary language norm. Don't being wanted to break its, we are obliged think about it, which one of endings is literary, if need be are not literary already both of them. Since the Gebauer's date to contemporary The Hand Grammar Czech (Příruční mluvnice češtiny) enter to the games at classification these endings a philological interventions. They evaluated these endings and described its on the axes correct - wron or literary - non-literary. Off at the same time no-stays nor a look dialectological. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

The implementation flat tax in Czech Republic
Dvořáček, Alexandr ; Kapinusová, Jana (advisor) ; Zemplinerová, Alena (referee)
The work is dedicated to analyse concept of the implementation flat tax in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part is based on the Tax theory, there are also described basic characteristics of tax systems, their functions and generally accepted fundamentals, which should proper tax system fulfil. Further theoretical part discuss tax theories development and their impact on practical questions about taxation during human history. The last part of the theoretical part is aimed straight at the flat tax. Characterize original concept of the flat tax and brings wider economic society opinions, which are completed by practical experience from the countries, where have been flat tax already implemented. Finally there are some alternatives to the flat tax mentioned, which were in case of the Czech Republic proposed. In practical part there are two tax systems compared, mainly focused on individual groups of tax payers, which differ in gross income and number of family members. I set up six groups of gross income in the way that best fits in the Czech circumstances. Aim is to compare tax burden for individual income groups in both tax systems. Analysis of the impact of the implementation flat tax for the specific income groups of inhabitants together with possible macroeconomic impact on the whole economy shows, whether the flat tax system in the Czech Republic is contibution or not.

Design of outlet and intake objects of Nové Heřminovy dam
Neuvirt, Petr ; Švancara, Jiří (referee) ; Zachoval, Zbyněk (advisor)
In this thesis was presented Nové Heřminovy dam with basic parameters. Requirements on bottom outlets and intake objects are presented as well. Analysis of used valves on all dams in Czech Republic was done as an underlay for suggestions of bottom outlets in this thesis. The main task was to suggest three variations of bottom outlets. Differences are in number of outlets, dimensions, placing and valves. Then variation of intake objects. Each of variation was verbally described and filled with calculations.

efficiency of the bottom elements on the supercritical flow energy dissipation
Knoflíček, Jakub ; Haluza,, Miloslav (referee) ; Šulc, Jan (advisor)
The thesis is dealing with comparing dissipation of the kinetic energy water flow using various bottom elements based on model research. There is missing information about efficiency of different kinds of bottom elements. This absence does not allow to compare different modification of the bottom of stilling basins. Within experimental research were measured depths in different variants. Based on the results of model tests are evaluated and tabulated sorted variants of the combat efficiency of the kinetic energy water flow. The results will be used for the efficient and economic design of additional alterations of stilling basins.
