Design of flood protection on selected location of the river
Filípková, Monika ; Klepárníková, Radka (referee) ; Duchan, David (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the hydraulic analysis of the water flow capacity for the flood flow on the river Litava in the river kilometres 11,550 – 18,315 using the HEC-RAS 5.0.5 specifically 1D-2D numerical model. On the basic of flood areas, depths and speeds the results were evaluated and subsequently was created own proposal flood protection.
Educational Cross Platform Mobile Game for Youngsters
Janeček, David ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Pastushenko, Olena (advisor)
Tato práce se zabývá vývojem multiplatformní vzdělávací hry na mobilní zařízení. Nejdříve je uvedena teorie a rozbor existujících her. Dále jsou v práci zmíněny některé možnosti tvorby takové hry a konečně popis návrhu, tvorby a testování samotné hry s využitím herního enginu Unity.
High-Quality Visualization of Petri Nets for Publishing Purposes
Bednář, Drahoslav ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This work is trying to solve the problem of graphical visualization of Petri nets in text publications. The aim of the thesis is to create a tool that will simplify generating of Petri nets and at the same time provide a more aesthetic graphical output than existing tools do. A simplex algorithm was used for automatic network layout. The program has both graphical interface and text mode and can cooperate well with existing tools for working with Petri nets, which the text also mentions. The program is able to load a pnml file and produce a usable image in png, pdf, and svg formats.
Computational modeling of flow field with separation
Šamša, Petr ; Elcner, Jakub (referee) ; Jícha, Miroslav (advisor)
This diploma thesis is considering with computational modeling of flow field with separation. In the first part it contains theoretical bases of flow field computational modeling with RANS models equations and wall treatment modeling approaches included. There is also flow separation in asymmetric plane diffuser modeling described in the thesis where the most suitable turbulent model and the proper mesh parameters for the successful flow separation modeling should be chosen. Next the chosen turbulent model and parameters verification via flow separation modeling on the asymmetric 3D diffuser mesh. That analysis should ensure if the chosen turbulent model is applicable also for engineering problems. At the end of the thesis there is evaluation if the setup chosen in the thesis is suitable to apply in any practical aeroacoustics problem modeling.
Motion Analysis
Hudec, Jiří ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is dealing with how to analyze human walk with Vicon camera system. In the first chapter are described elementary ideas for gait analysis and principal methods of Vicon system. There is also discussed basic layout of cameras in the laboratory and layout of markers attached at a human body. The second chapter is also about synchronisation of multiple cameras and description of CVS format. Further, in the third chapter are discussed four algorithms created in Matlab for a description of gait analysis. In the last fourth chapter are discussed the results of the software from Matlab and comparison these results with results made in the laboratory of gait analysis.
Virtual Gate for Counting the Passing of Persons
Chudý, Andrej Oliver ; Dvořák, Michal (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to propose a viable technique of detecting people passing through a virtual line (any opening without a turnstile or other form of the physical obstacle). Two software solutions were implemented to achieve high accuracy. First one processes 2D data output from webcam and the other one processes depth data from the 3D imaging sensor. Both software solutions were deployed and tested in a pharmaceutical storage room, where they achieved the accuracy of 98%. The software proposed in this thesis is thus reliable enough to become the basis of access control and security systems or for real-time evaluation of visitor rate statistics of commercial properties and events. The thesis also contains a comparative analysis of 3 widely used depth sensors.
Development of 2D games using HTML5
Dědek, Martin ; Ženíšek, Jan (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
The main aim of this thesis is to introduce the possibilities of using HTML5 for developing 2D games. The thesis begins with a theoretical part that defines basic concepts and technologies available in HTML5 that are applicable to game development. The main emphasis is put on the use of element canvas and on creating game controls. This theoretical introduction is followed by a brief overview of the most widely used frameworks and libraries. Everything comes into practice in the practical part of the thesis that shows design and implementation of simple games. Each game uses different principles and technologies, so that most parts of the theory are presented. One of the games serves as an example of using the Phaser framework.
2D and 3D Dimension in Kinderdarten Art Education
Kaločová, Lucie ; Novotná, Magdalena (advisor) ; Sedlák, Michal (referee)
TITLE: 2D and 3D Dimension in Kinderdarten Art Education AUTHOR: Bc. Lucie Kaločová DEPARTMENT: Department of Art Education SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Magdalena Novotná, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis deals with the transition of areal and three-dimensional imagery in the works of selected artists, which are the basis for didactic transformation, into artistic activi- ties in the kindergarten program 'Starting Together'. The empiric part deals with the deve- lopment of spatial and areal perception among preschool children. The theoretical part discusses the contemporary understanding of art teaching and its full development potential in preschool education. It outlines the teacher's role in planning of artistic activities and his/her ability to provide children the world of culture and art in kinder- garten in comparison with the role of a gallery educator in an art gallery. It seeks to provide theoretical support for the empiric part and for the realized interdisciplinary project. It deals with the development of selected cognitive abilities of children of preschool age, sensation and perception, along with the possibilities of the development of spatial intelli- gence including the process of comparing during artistic activities. Art is put into the context of mathematics (didactics of mathematics education...
Kinematic Analysis of Tennis Serve
Havel, Michal ; Kočíb, Tomáš (advisor) ; Čichoň, Rostislav (referee)
Title: Kinematic Analysis of Tennis Serve. Objectives: To evaluate tennis serve realization in the selected performance category, to review speed of particular serve types and define the differences. To create detailed movement analysis of the slice serve from the right side of the court and set up a trajectory of the centre of gravity. Methods: Case study using kinematic 2D and 3D analysis was made. Results: We found out that the flat serve is the fastest type of serve. There are differences in the body centre of gravity trajectory by comparison with elite tennis players. We also found out that serving from the right side of the court is being hit higher, than from the left side. We assume there is a very close connection between serve speed and the point of impact. Keywords: tennis, serve, kinematic analysis, 2D, 3D
