Prepare of Juggling Festival Using Techniques of Project Management

The content of this work is to analyze the practical use of methods of project management in organizing juggling-music festival. The festival will take place in early September 2012, in Trebic under the auspices of the production agency Halus and juggling club Magnis. The name of the festival will Flaming Nights. In the project management is used in several IT technologies such as Visual Basic.

The diploma thesis concerns a creation of communication strategy for multimedia festival named Lumirova triska 2009. The work includes a summary of basic marketing approaches towards the communication strategy creation, description of its application, former communication analysis and an overview of the current state on the market of festivals involving advertising creation, as well as proposals for communication improvement, managing model of the event and an effectivity assessment from the economical point of view.
Promotion and financing of multimedia festival

The topic of my thesis is the promotion and financing of multimedia festival. The work consists of two parts: theoretical and practical-analytical. The first section describes the concepts and theoretical knowledge of multimedia environment, festivals, marke-ting and funding of festivals. The analytical part is the analysis of multimedia festivals in the Czech Republic and their form of promotion. In the practical part introduces multimédia festival Winston Econ Art (WEA), which is or-ganized by the staff of GML and students of Multimedia in economic practice. Lay-ing the basics of organization and financing of the festival, which will be applied in practice in organizing WEA 2014. Entire work is finished proposals of promotion and effective communication for the festival this year.
Paper theatre as a specific part of the Czech puppet tradition

The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe foreign tradition of paper theatre, history and presence of its Czech counterpart and to set this theatrical genre in the context of Czech puppetry. First part is dedicated to the history of the foreign paper theatre, its festivals and current trends. Second part focuses on the history of Czech family theatre and a paper theatre as its element. The last part introduces Czech puppet players and theatre companies who reflect this tradition in their art.

Celebrations and Traditions in Present Family with Preschool Children

The target of this bachelor thesis is to find out what holidays and festivals are kept in the family with pre-school children nowadays. It also focuses on the form the fesivals and holidays are celebrated. The theoretical part provides the characteristics of particular festivals and holidays during the year. These special occasions can be understood as festive rituals containing a lot of values for further lifetime. Another part ot the thesis deals with the family, mainly its socializing and educational functions, which is directly related to passing the traditions on other generations. The practical part gives the description of the results of the qualitative research carried out with parents of pre-school children. This investigative survey contributed to the finding which festivals and holidays are currently celebrated and how. The contribution of this finding is a deeper understanding of the modern family and its application in pre-school education which supplements the family care.
Analysis of motivation among the spectators of Prague professional theaters

This Master Thesis maps the scene of the professional theaters in Prague from the spectators' perspective. Consequently it points out the most important motivation factors for each market segment that leads people to visit the shows. The theoretical part defines the terms theater and drama. It also analysis theater market in the Czech Republic and Prague's professional drama scene. Moreover, it specifies a marketing mix in the context of theaters, introduces the basic principles of marketing research and states the fundamental basis for a theory of motivation. Analytical part is based on a quantitative research realized through a questionnaire survey. Subjects were Prague residents, both men and women across all age groups and different levels of education. Minor improvements for theaters marketing strategy were proposed according to the research findings. Particular attention was paid to the special theatrical events held in Prague.
International student festivals in the Visegrad Group

Diploma thesis deals with international student festivals in the Visegrad Group. The thesis describes higher education systems in Visegrad countries and explores in detail higher education students' theatre festivals. The main aim of the thesis is to find out whether the cooperation of higher education students from the field of theatre acting in Visegrad countries is sufficient, to analyze the support system for their cultural activities and suggest a suitable solution. To achieve the main objective of the paper the survey method and the method of semi-structured dialogue were used.
Festival "Mezi ploty" and its influence on the tourism of Prague 8

This diploma thesis is oriented on cultural tourism. The main point of the paper is festival Mezi ploty. First chapter is focused on incoming and domestic tourism of the Czech Republic. It analyzes its potential and results. Second chapter deals with Prague 8, it describes a tourism facilities supply and the most important attractions. The festival itself is presented in the third chapter. There was a research carried out within the thesis and its results are shown in the fourth chapter. Based on the outcome, conclusions and recommendations are offered at the end of the paper.
