Laser gun and target for shooting sport practise
Poloch, Martin ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with complete design of a system for simulating shooting sport. Key aspects of the design are similarity with shooting from classic mechanical weapons, multifunctionality of the system and costs. The core of the simulation is a laser transmitter in the weapon and a photosensitive receiver in the target. One of the key part of this thesis is choosing the most suitable photosensor. The final version of the system is controlled by a group of microcontrollers and provides several types of feedback. For example lighting the place that has been hit with LED, sound signals, displaying shooting results, or evaluating them with a computer.
Wireless Tire Pressure Monitoring
Hampl, Tomáš ; Čožík, Ondřej (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This master‘s thesis describes the design of a system usable for wireless measurement of the tire pressure. The goal is to make a theoretical acquintace with the wireless measurement of a tire pressure. Within the master‘s thesis was suggested device at the block level. For individual blocks have been chosen specific circuits. For the device has been selected the pressure sensor SP100-7AT, the microcontrollers Atmega8 and Atmega16 and the wireless module RFM22. The result of the work is a functional prototype of device including software for microprocessors. Final solution was tested during the experimental measurement.
SmartFlat peripherials
Chytil, Jiří ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the design of peripheral devices of a smart home SmartFlat and the design of communication interface for this system. Designed units are the humidity and temperature measuring unit, the unit of security and the smart socket unit for remote control, power measurement and power control. All units are designed for wired communicaton and also for wireless communication with control unit.
Universal drive unit
Sehnálek, Lubomír ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
This document deal with design of universal driving unit. For the final solution is required driving unit which will be controled with help of sensory unit placed on the chassis of driving unit. In theoretical part of this labour are examined possibilities of a power, electric motor operation by PWM, kind of chassis and odometry which could be taken into account. From this section is finally chosen concrete configuration which is then described in chapter concerned oneself with driving unit design. Construction of equipment is shown in next chapter where final configuration of equipment is described.
I2C Bus to RS232 Bus Convertor
Votava, Martin ; Marvan, Aleš (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
The main goal of this Bachelor's thesis is to create I2C bus to RS232 bus convertor. Using I2C bus the convertor drives 8bit I/O expander. In theoretical part buses I2C and RS232 are described along with PCF8574. There is also mentioned selection appropriate microcontroler and design of comunication protocol. Practical part is dedicated to creating control program for microcontroler, appropriate comunication protocol processing and convertor testing. There are also described some auxiliary products and program testing.
Laboratory model of an machine for printed wiring
Posekaný, Jan ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Zezulka, František (advisor)
Production of printed circuit boards using three-axis CNC milling machine is suitable for small batch production. Milling machine consists of three axes, which are controlled by stepper motors. Controlled by a PC connected to the control electronics to communicate over the serial line. Input data is exported from the Eagle design software. The core of the control unit´s processor family, the AVR ATmega16, motor drivers for the ATmega8. Transfer between PC and the device is implemented using a virtual person through USB.
NiCd, NiMH and Li-Ion Accumulators Charger Controlled via USB
Knop, Petr ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Bartoš, Pavel (advisor)
Universal battery charger Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh and Li-ion batteries. The charger is controlled by microcontroller atmega8 made by Atmel. The charger senses the battery temperature, battery voltage and sends data about charging cycle to created applications over USB interface.
Adjustable source feeded and controlled by USB bus
Staněk, Miroslav ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Kolouch, Jaromír (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is concept and realization of voltage source which is controlled and feeded by Universal Serial Bus. There will be presented whole design, execution, development progress and finalization of this project in the following text. This source must boost and buck standard voltage from USB. So it will be necessary using two source lines. Microcontroller of AVR family will be used in the direct part of this adjustable source. Into this microcontroller will be embedded USB interface by the software solution. The microcontroller isn‘t used only for communication with PC by the computer programme, but it is also used for switching the source lines by the PWM modulation. According to the minimum output voltage scale (0 – 15 V) this source is useful for a wide spectrum of low- power devices. This equipment could be helpful together with laptop to charging devices (cell phone, camera, pocket osciloscope etc.), which are carried with notebook for doing outdoor activities and measurements.
LED stroboscope speed meter
Krampoťák, Štefan ; Uher, Miroslav (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is dealing with design and realization of contactless rotation sensor based on stroboscope method. As the source of the light should be used power LED. The first part briefly deals with the scanning speed and a more detailed description of the stroboscope method, it´s advantages and disadvantages. The second part of this thesis is about designing and implementation of the measurement device, i.e. designing the block diagrams, electric circuit designing and the execution itself. It analyzes each part of the electric circuit and justifies their selection and design. In the last phase of this bachelor´s thesis is made the measurement of the device and were determinated it´s properties.
RFID chips reader with AVR microcontroller
Vaníček, Aleš ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and practical realization of a simple reader module, RFID chips. In the first part of the thesis focuses on the theory of RFID system, which tries to outline the basic principles of automatic identification of goods or persons using RFID. The second part is focused on the implementation of a device that operates at 13.56 MHz HF band, and supports the standards ISO 14443 and ISO 14443B.
