Wireless Tire Pressure Monitoring
Hampl, Tomáš ; Čožík, Ondřej (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This master‘s thesis describes the design of a system usable for wireless measurement of the tire pressure. The goal is to make a theoretical acquintace with the wireless measurement of a tire pressure. Within the master‘s thesis was suggested device at the block level. For individual blocks have been chosen specific circuits. For the device has been selected the pressure sensor SP100-7AT, the microcontrollers Atmega8 and Atmega16 and the wireless module RFM22. The result of the work is a functional prototype of device including software for microprocessors. Final solution was tested during the experimental measurement.
Wireless stopwatch
Hampl, Tomáš ; Pristach, Marián (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and implementation of the system of the wireless digital stopwatch for timing. Stopwatch is implemented by microprocessor ATmega16 and the wireless transfer of data by module RFM22. The theoretical part of the work is focused on the description of the all used technologies. The practical part is focused on the design and overall realization of the system. For the processing of the measured results is programmed user application. The final result is the functional prototype of the device including software for microprocessors and computer.
Visual Localization of Chess Pieces
Hampl, Tomáš ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis was to analyze state of the chess game and to locate chess pieces on the chessboard. Chessboard recognition is based on locating lines in image using Hough transform and PClines. The figures were detected by models of convolutional neural networks - YOLOv3, YOLOv4 and YOLOv4 tiny. Evaluation was perfomed on our data set. Chessboard detection achieves accuracy of 97%, complete localization of the state reaches 74,5% and piece localization 96%.
Mycobacterium tuberculosis as causative agent of grave illness
Hampl, Tomáš ; Janďourek, Ondřej (advisor) ; Voxová, Barbora (referee)
Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy, Hradec Králové Field of study: Specialist in laboratory methods Author: Bc. Tomáš Hampl Supervisor: PharmDr. Ondřej Janďourek, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Mycobacterium tuberculosis as causative agent of grave illness The aim of this diploma thesis is to deal with tuberculosis, describe the pathogen, taxonomic classification, describe the origin, course and clinical manifestations of the disease, diagnosis, including laboratory diagnostics, epidemiology of tuberculosis, treatment and prevention. Tuberculosis (TBC) is one of the deadliest infectious diseases in the world caused by bacterium M. tuberculosis in humans. TBC is sometimes referred as a disease of the past, but the recent rise in cases of the disease, and especially the spread of forms of drug-resistant TBC, makes the disease very dangerous. Currently, a major problem is the alarming rise in resistant and multi-resistant tuberculosis, which is not counteracted by commonly used first-line drugs. Therefore, there is a constant emphasis around the world on discovering and testing new potential antituberculotics that could help patients with resistant and multidrug-resistant TBC. In the experimental part, the thesis deals with screening of antimycobacterial activity of potential antituberculotics...

Rotavirus as an agent of diarrheal diseases
Hampl, Tomáš ; Vejsová, Marcela (advisor) ; Konečná, Klára (referee)
Author: Tomáš Hampl Title: Rotavirus as an agent of diarrheal diseases Bachelor thesis Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy, Hradec Králové Field of study: Medical Laboratory Background: This bachelor thesis aims at dealing with rotavirus issues, taxonomically classifying them, describing their structure, properties, origin and course of the diseases they cause. In the experimental part the thesis will deal with the epidemiology of rotavirus infections at the Faculty Hospital in Hradec Králové in the period between 2010-2017 and their evaluation. Main findings: Rotaviruses are very often the cause of serious and dangerous diarrhea in children up to 5 years of age, including infants and toddlers. According to the WHO, more than half a million children worldwide die each year, where children will get ill around 150 million. Therefore, early diagnosis and appropriate therapy are very important. An adult can also become infected, the course of the disease is much milder than children. Conclusions: Important prevention of the origin and spread of rotavirus infections requires careful personal hygiene, especially hand washing. Because infections are the most common in children's groups, disinfection of the environment, toys, furniture and other objects is necessary in case of spread of...
A fusion of jazz and contemporary composition in Czech music in 2nd half of 20th century
Hampl, Tomáš ; Havelková, Tereza (advisor) ; Douša, Eduard (referee)
This study deals with the problems involved in the synthesis of jazz and contemporary composition as it occurs in Czech music in the seventies of the 20th century. Of special concern are the problems of ambiguity in how the Czechoslovak literature of the 60's through the 80's views Schuller's concept of "Third stream." My work draws upon the research results of Robert Loran Brown and his follower David Joyner as the representatives of the current critical view of American musicology. On the basis of a detailed analysis of Alexej Fried's composition "Sonatina Drammatica," I am attempting to deal with the non-American understanding of the synthesis of jazz and European musical practice. In confrontation with Joyner's critical opinion of trying to create music in the spirit of the theory of "Third Stream," I question the validity of his conclusions, which relegate the "Third Stream" concept solely to the theoretical sphere without any chance of practical implementation. Key words Third stream, Jazz, Fusion, Alexej Fried, Sonatina Drammatica
