The Level of Postural Maturation of Children in Athletic-preparatory Schools
Janečková, Terezie ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: The Level of Postural Maturation of Children in Athletic-preparatory Schools Author: Terezie Janečková Objective: There are more and more athletic-preparatory schools in athletic units and clubs nowadays. Athletic-preparatory school means a group of five or six-year-old children with one or two training lessons per week. Czech athletic association wants to spread an interest in athletics among parents and their children, to find athletic talents as soon as possible and develop them by this way. The recruitment of children at this age already exists in many sports, but it is new in athletics in the Czech Republic. But that does not go for everyone that this sport training at preschool age is the appropriate and healthy way for a child motor development. I would like to evaluate the influence of athletic-preparatory schools on the child motor development. Due to the fact that there are no tests to apply for this purpose in literaure, we have to compose our own set of tests, which are used in physiotherapy. The theoretic part of the work is a bibliographic search of accessible information about postural maturation and motor development. The experimental part of the work is an evaluation of the level of postural maturation of children in athletic-preparatory schools before their start of regular...

Prevalence and incidence of alcohol tobacco and cannabis use in the cohort of primary school students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade
Jurystová, Lucie ; Gabrhelík, Roman (advisor) ; Vacek, Jaroslav (referee)
Background The period of adolescence is typical for first experiments and initiation of substance use. The onset of experiments emerges between 11 and 15 years of age according to different authors. Although many adolescents end with experiments, there is still a group of those who proceed to regular use. Frequent, regular and especially heavy substance use represents various risks in many aspects of individual's life. According to various studies earlier onset of substance use may predict serious difficulties in adult stages of life. Important and currently widely discussed question is differences in substance use between boys and girls. Aims To identify the age of cigarette, alcohol and cannabis use onset according to gender. To find out prevalence of use among boys and girls. To find out whether incidence of substance use is higher during school year or summer holidays. Methods The ESPAD questionnaire was used for data collection, which was realized in the period of 34 months from August 2007 until June 2010. Indicators were defined for categories of cigarette smoking, alcohol drinking and experience with cannabis. For clarification of the given hypothesis statistical analyses in Microsoft Office Excel 2007 were used - descriptive statistics, contingency tables, Fisher's F-test and (Student)...

Evalvation of Stereognostic Ability of Visually Handicapped group and group of Physiotherapists
Poubová, Jana ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Prokešová, Michaela (referee)
Abstraet: Evaluation ofstereognostic ability ofvisually handicapped group and group ofphysiotherapists Statements: We suppose that people with visual handicap will have a better tactile sensation as a compensation to worse visus. At the same time we suppose a better tactile sensation in a group of physiotherapists, beacause of a regular manual contact with patianťs body surface, which can help to improve tactile and proprioceptive sensation and also the stereognosis ability - differences in size, shape and surface without visual control. Our study is focused on testing of this ability in a group of visually handicapped people and a group ofphysiotherapists. Targets: To evaluate stereognosis in a group ofpeople with visual handicap, especially blind and weak-eyed people and a group ofphysiotherapists working with patiens S years in minimum. Methods: We determined three simple, not time demanding tests, which were used for testing in experim.ental our groups. Results: We found out better stereognostic ability in a group ofvisually handicapped people than in a group ofphysiotherapists. Conclusions: We proved better stereognostic ability in a group ofvisually handicapped people than in a group ofphysiotherapists. It woudl be good to make the same testing in nonnal population for supplementation, we would expect...

Model Checking Infinite-State Systems Using Language Inference
Rozehnal, Pavel ; Křena, Bohuslav (referee) ; Vojnar, Tomáš (advisor)
Regular model checking is a method for verifying infinite-state systems based on coding their configurations as words over a finite alphabet, sets of configurations as finite automata, and transitions as finite transducers. We implement regular model checking using inference of regular languages. The method builds upon the observations that for infinite-state systems whose behavior can be modeled using length-preserving transducers, there is a finite computation for obtaining all reachable configurations.   Our new approach to regular model checking via inference of regular languages is based on the Angluin's L* algorithm that is used for finding out an invariant which can answer our question whether the system satisfies some property.   We also provide an intro to the theory of finite automata, model checking, SAT solving and Anguin's L* and Bierman algorithm of learning finite automata.

In the contemporary world that undergoes constant changes, theatre is changing with certain pace as well. It is only natural as it is an integrant, inseparable part of the society and its make-up. New theatre groups are being established ? some of them last longer and turn into steady regulars on the stage, others are more short-lived due to a variety of factors (art, financial or personal ones). The development of the groups in question could help us outline some of the current tendencies in the theatre world and could contribute to getting a broader and fuller understanding of it.

Kvalitativní vlastnosti řešení rovnic popisujících časově proměnná proudění nestlačitelných chemicky reagujících tekutin

We study properties of solutions of generalized Navier-Stokes equations describing unsteady flows of an incompressible fluid with impurity, whereas the viscosity of the fluid depends on concentration of the impurity. We assume that the viscosity is function of the concentration, which is bounded and Lipschitz continuous. In two dimensional case we prove that the second spatial derivatives of the velocity and concentration belong to the space L2(L2) and rst spatial derivatives are in L1(L2). As the application of this global regularity result we prove uniqueness of the regular solution within the class of weak solutions.

Using the SAS System for Building Data Warehouses and Optimalization of ETL Processes
Pešička, Michal ; Novotný, Ota (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with usability of the SAS system and its components for building and running data warehouse and complete solution of Business Intelligence. In the beginning it introduces the meaning and benefits of putting on Business Intelligence and its spot in an organization. It especially focuses on the running BI project in Kooperativa, a.s., insurance company. The main goal of this thesis is to aim on ETL processes of data warehouse, their specificity, characteristics and regular tasks solved across data layers, measuring their performance and feasibility of ETL optimalization. This optimalization can be considered from two different points of view – the first is a creation and maintenance of the ETL source code, the second is tuning for faster data processing. Log files, which are are the main source for performance monitoring, are processed by macroprogram specially tailored to this particular reason. Gained results are analyzed and on that basis I outline spots that need attention. The last part offers comparison of some alternatives to data transformation process typically solved by ETL tasks. Acquired results could be taken as hints used in designing and tweaking other akin ETL processes.

Variational methods for segmentation of digital images
Kotera, Jan ; Zitová, Barbara (advisor) ; Kružík, Martin (referee) ; Hron, Jaroslav (referee)
The text covers the theory of the Mumford and Shah model for digital image segmentation. The strong and weak formulation is presented and the questions of existence, uniqueness, and solution regularity is answered. Then, a particular variant of the model called `active contours without edges' is numerically implemented. This implementation is tested on several images, the results are presented in detail and theoretically explained.

Interaction of compressible fluid with bodies
Šimánek, Petr ; Feistauer, Miloslav (advisor) ; Dolejší, Vít (referee)
In the present work we study interaction of compressible viscous and inviscid flow with airfoil. We describe Euler equations and compressible Navier-Stokes equations. The space and time discretization of these equations in timedependent domains is made with the aid of the discontinuous Galerkin finite element method (DGFEM). To study the flow in the time-dependent domains the Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) method is used. The equations describing motion of airfoil with two degrees of freedom are derived. We present and compare results of the flow with prescribed airfoil motion and of fluidstructure interaction for both viscous and inviscid flow. We present subsonic and transonic results.
