Crane Stroke Mechanism
Vydra, Tomáš ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of crane stroke mechanism with lifting capacity of 12 500 kg. At the beginning is research of different design solutions, their comparison and finally selection of the most suitable conception. Before calculation part of each unit is short theoretical part, which brings basic information about issue, whose result in choice of product from catalogues. On the grounds of calculations, firstly hoist parts are chosen, such as rope, pulleys, rope drum and main units of crane mechanism – electric motor, gear box and brake with coupling. Final part deals with strength calculations of rope drum and drum shaft and design of his bearing housing. The practical part of the work are assembly drawings of crane stroke mechanism and rope drum weldment.
Optimization of the existing construction of magnetorheological clutch
Bedřich, Miroslav ; Růžička, Bronislav (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This work deals with the reconstruction of magnetorheological (MR) clutch. The extensive research on the use of magnetorheological technology in practice was developed in the first part. The function of MR dampers, MR brakes and MR clutches were described. Some parameters of MR clutches were listed and compared. The second part concentrates on construction modifications to improve some parameters of MR clutch. The experiments verifying improvement of operating parameters of MR clutch were carried out in the third part.
Technological design of the component to automotive back brake
Volfík, Jiří ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Process design of selected part of the car brake system-rear brake disc, that consideres appropriate semi-manufactured product, choice of high-tec machines and progressive tools that will allow the highest level of the process optimatisation, well design routings, engineering and cost evaluation followed by discussin.
Stroke mechanism of crane trolley
Malár, Martin ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of the stroke mechanism of the crane trolley, maximum weight of loads is 16 000 kg. The work is divided into two parts: a written part and a practical part. In the written part of this work there are the main dimensions of lift and control cable drum strength solved. The calculation is subject to quantities that are given by assignment. Choice of the electric motor, gearbox and follow-up control of the stroke speed according to customer requirements is discussed further. The second part includes production drawings, in which are included the total set of the stroke mechanism and other assemblies and production drawings.
HPV braking system
Sáska, Jakub ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
Work covers the topic of HPV (Human Powered Vehicle) brake systems. It contains an overview of brake types, as well as solution of mutual compatibility issues of various common standards. Included table serves the purpose of right brake system selection for given HPV.
Design of Tagnpps 97 m3 Wagon Braking System in SS Braking Mode
Trubač, Pavel ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
At first part of my work is described the brake for freight wagon, its princip and control. Next part is dedicated to describe to brake with block and brake with disc. Main object of my work is concrete propose of brake with blocks and reason, why is this brake use on most of wagons. Next I describe requests for brake accessories for freight wagons, mainly for operation in SS mode. At second part is proposal for brake for freight wagon type TAGNPPS for operating in SS mode. Scheme of mechanical and pneumatic part, CAD model of this brake system, voltage analyses by FEM method of choosing component – brake lever, created in SolidWorks 2011 mode. For compare of result by FEM method is used analytic count of this component.

Tractors brake systems
Pazour, Martin ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Ambróz, Richard (advisor)
This Batchelor’s thesis deals with an overview of the contemporary brake system of tractors. Principles and constructions of brake systems will be described in this thetis. Then the braking dynamics will be analyzed and convenient brake system for tractor up to 90kW will be projected.
Stroke mechanism of crane trolley
Galas, Radovan ; Malášek, Jiří (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with design of stroke mechanism of crane trolley loads for the weights which do not exceed 5 000 kg. This thesis divided into written and practical sections. Written part deals with the calculation of the principal dimensions of lifting and stress control of cable reel. In this work there are also given reasons for choosing certain key parts of the lifting mechanism, such as: electric motor, gearbox, etc. Prior to the calculations in each chapter there is usually located a short introduction of the topic. The practical part contains a drawing of the complete lifting mechanism, cable reel assembly and two production drawings.
Rallye Championships and Used Engineering Including WRC Series
Novák, Pavel ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
The content of the bachelor thesis is an overview of the current condition of technics used in the car racing competitions focused on the WRC serial. The thesis is diveded into five parts. The first part introduces the contemporary car competitions and FIA federation. The second part is focused on specification of the WRC cars. The third part familiarizes with the organization process of the WRC championship. There are introduced crews with their teams and their results in the constructor cup. The main attention is given to the parts four and five which deal with the contemporary engineering used in WRC and the development trends in this field. There are given methods of virtual designing, computer simulation and testing. In the conclusion of the thesis there are mentioned examples of WRC car development and solutions assumed for the serial cars from the WRC technics.
