Analysis of Recruitment and Selection Process of Employees in a particular Organization

The diploma work focused on the topic of Analysis of the recruitment and selection process in the company of RealSan Group, SE is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical part, I defined the key expressions and described the process of recruitment and selection from the moment of identifying the necessity of a new employee up to the final selection and accepting or not accepting of an applicant. In the second, practical part, I introduced the company of RealSan, its structure and development in the field of recruitment and selection of employees from 2001 up to now. I analysed the process of fluctuations in the years 2001 -- 2010 and I searched for the reasons why the emloyees had left the company. In this practical part I used the company documents and analysed them, I interviewed the employees of the company, I played an active role in the process of recruitment and used my own experience as an evaluator in an assessment centre. In the final part of my work I suggest and recommend how to make the recruitment and selection process better.

Final thesis concentrates on the issues of recruitment and selection of employees with emphasis on the method Assessment Centre. It consists of a description of this process in ČSOB and moreover it examines the differences between internal and external form of AC. A fluctuation of employees who are chosen by this way is used as an evaluation criterion of propriety of a selection method.

The goal of this bachelor work is to analyse human resources activities in company Jan Becher - Karlovarská Becherovka, a.s. and eventually propose recommendations for changes, which will lead to increase of efficiency of human resources activities. The company Jan Becher - Karlovarská Becherovka, a.s. is concerning with production and distribution of alcoholic beverages, mainly generally known Karlovarská Becherovka. This work describes all human resources activities, which take place in the company. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is dealing with topic from the view of experts. Practical part consists of information gained from personal conversation with employee of human resources department of the company.
Use of on-line diagnostic tools in selecting employees

This thesis deals with the possibilities of using on-line diagnostic tools in selecting employees. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the theoretical basis for selection of employees, psychodiagnostics and on-line diagnostics. Attention is paid to psycho diagnostic characteristics and determination of preferences and risks of on-line diagnostics. The practical section examines and assesses the individual tools on-line diagnostics available for selection of employees on the Czech market - specifically, by the company Access Assessment s.r.o., Assessment Systems s.r.o., cut-e czech s.r.o and www.SCIO.cz, s.r.o. The tools are evaluated on the basis of psychometric features, factor is the standardization, objectivity, reliability and validity, as these characteristics determine the quality of the questionnaire or test. The result is a recommendation of an on-line questionnaire and tests that are for standard practice in the selection procedure most applicable.

The aim of this bachelor work is to analyze the recruitment and the selection process in the Belarusian company based on the theory. First I dealt with a system of recruitment, compared my theoretical knowledge with the system in Belarusian company "ParusTorgServis AMZ ". I did the same with the selection of employees. Then I evaluate the advantages and shortcomings of the system and propose better solutions for the company.

In the application part of the theses I describe the structure of organizations and the whole proces in the organizations. The first one is theoretical and is in fact introduction to problems of personnel work and particular personnel activities. It specifically focuses on recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees. The second part describes how these personnel activities are administrated within the company. Applied principles and processes are discussed and suitable changes are designed wherever considered necessary.

In the first part are described the teoretical knowledges about recruitment, selection and adaptation of employees. In the second part is the analysis of this processes in the company on the basis of questionnaire examination between the employees of the company and interviews with the HR manager and one chosen employee. In conclusion are proposed the changes, which could help to increase the efficiency of the recruitment, selection and adaptation processes.
