Unordinary Methods and Forms of Activities in Music in Kindergartens

My bachelor thesis deals with unordinary methods and forms of activities in music in kindergartens. The theoretical part describes a development of auditory perception and musicality. This is followed by traditional and non-traditional (unordinary) methods and forms of activities. Practicional part is a pedagogical qualitative research, which based on the methods and forms of activities in kindergartens with alternative education. Main purpose of my research is to find out attitude to music of teachers in kindergartens with alternative education and find out what their attitude is different from other teachers of kindergartens (with other alternative education, without alternative education).
The phenomenon of private nursery in the context of alternative pre-school education.

The diploma thesis is divided into the theoretical and research part. In the theoretical part, we explain the concepts of pre-school age and its development. We are dealing with the division of pre-school institutions into state, non-state and private. We describe the possibilities of alternative education. Definition of legislative documentation of pre-school education. The research section focuses on non-state and private preschool institutions. What these devices differ from state kindergarten and what they offer in pre-school education.
Worldschooling as an alternative model of education

This thesis's aim is to unite the worldschooling information available, show different educational models in various countries where it would be the easiest to execute for Czech families, suggest an advancement and an example of such education. Further on detect its benefits and weaknesses. The main contribution of the thesis lays in the comparison of the obvious benefits such as unworldliness, overview, or extensive progression in the field of language or geography as well as the negatives of such upbringing such as uprooting, instability or social isolation. Later on the latent advantages and disadvantages shall arise from the research part which will be focused on interviews with families already practising worldschooling. To meet the goals, specialized literature will be used, prevailingly a foreign one, most of all however using naratives. The usage of effective ways of communication in kindergarten.

The thesis deals with using of an effective approach embedded in a school education program of montessori kindergarten and church kindergarten. The theoretical part describes the effective communication, basic effective communication skills and ineffective communication skills, needs and emotion. Further thesis deals with a general educational program for preschool education, a school educational program and the scope of effective communication in a general educational program for preschool education. Last but not least it deals with an alternative education and the scope of an effective communication in a montessori pedagogy and a church education. The practical part includes a research focused mainly on what type of pedagogy approach and how often are the effective communication skills used in these kindergartens (Viva Bambini and church kindergarten Lipenská). Effective communication is embedded in the school educational program of both of these kindergartens. Both kindergartens have a different pedagogical approach. The kindergarten Viva Bambini puts emphasis on a development of sensory perception and an isolation of particular property. The church kindergarten Lipenská focuses an attention on a spiritual development of child and a limitation of religious content on a particular topic. The greatest principle is love and an establishing of the relationship with God.
Innovatory education: negotiation of otherness

Diploma thesis is a case study of forest school. Thesis draw from school ethnography approach and examine in what ways this school constitute education different from dominant educational discourse. It applies the concept of heterotopia on the basis of which it reveals other ideological, discursive and also organisational practices on which is this school build on. Educational discourses are inseparable. For understanding of its otherness there is used the reference framework of disciplinary mechanisms of normative education; specifically the space layout, surveillance and the process of examination. Thesis also seeks to reflect contemporary shifts in educational paradigm and it shows some inovative and newly emerged forms of education. It mirrors neoliberal tendencies which permeates through the educational system. It works with imperatives of freedom, responsibility and the autonomy of children. Montessori ´s pedagogics in preschool education as one of options for a child

The thesis deals with Montessori approach to education as a choice for a child in pre-school education. The main objective is to find a reason why should the parents place a child in the Montessori Kindergarten. And whether their expectations are fulfilled. The theoretical part consists of the chapters on alternative education, Montessori and Waldorf approach to education, the curriculum for preschool education (RVP PV) and the people who first attempted to change systém of the education in the Czech Republic. Chapter named methodology describes the different methods used for research. The practical part contains the results of a qualitative research, which was conducted via questionnaires, case studies and interviews.
Motivation for parents with children of Waldorf Kindergarten to continue their education at Waldorf type of elementary schools.

The aim of the thesis is to gain a deeper view of primary school selection. Specifically, why the parents of children attending the Waldorf Kindergarten Sluníčko decide to continue, or not to continue with the started alternative education of their children. In the theoretical part, the concept of alternative school and Waldorf pedagogy is described as one of the possible alternatives. One chapter is devoted to the founder of Waldorf pedagogy R. Steiner. This chapter also explains the background of the first Waldorf school in the world and in the Czech Republic. It refers the requirements, which needs to be implemented in order to be registered in the International Registry of Waldorf School. In the empirical part, the thesis describe the beginning of Waldorf Kindergarten Slunicko in Písek. Qualitative survey helps to understand opinions and attitudes of parents to this alternative. It also find out reasons why parents choose Waldorf pedagogy at pre-school and also elementary school level for their children.
Introduction of montessori principles of education to economic subjects at High schools

Thesis aims to find out whether or not it is possible to implement Montessori principles of education into economical subjects on High schools. Parst of the Thesis are also preparations for teaching of economical subjects with Montessori principals. At the end reader can find out more information about methods, forms, content, didactic aids and didactic technique which can be used to implement Montessori principles appropriately. Author used several different experimental methods like experimental teaching, self-reflection of the practitioner, questionnaire survey in the class where experimental teaching took place and didactic test for pupils who participated in experimental teaching. As a result, implementation of Montessori principles is possible and has advantages (better atmosphere in class, better way to achieve educational goals) and disadvantages (problems with fixation).
Specifics of managing alternative schools

The thesis discusses the specifics of the management of alternative schools in Czech Republic. The aim is to compare selected type of alternative schools in the Czech Republic, focusing on management, analysis of differences in management from the management of public schools. The theoretical part deals with the definition and the development of alternative schools, the features and functions of alternative schools. The practical part analyzes the document and standardized interviews with selected schools. The result is a comparison of selected types of alternative schools in the Czech Republic, with focus on the management, and analysis of the differences from management of public schools.
