Identification and assessment of errors in the production line and their prevention
Langer, David ; Vintr, Michal (referee) ; Kotek, Luboš (advisor)
The manufacturing companies are faced to the strong pressure to decrease the production costs. They are therefore forced to optimize the manufacturing processes and to increase their efficiency. The ideal way to increase the productivity is to optimize the manufacture by increasing the efficacy of the equipment, material, working hours and other sources of finding out causes of wasting in production, it means to abolish the causes of making mistakes.

Bullying at ecclesiastic schools
Dabrowská, Václava ; Bartůšková, Ludmila (advisor) ; Kuźniar, Mariusz (referee)
The Diploma thesis "Bullying at ecclesiastic schools" first presents briefly the context of aggression at schools. Furthermore it describes the behaviour of an aggressor and his reasons to bully. It explains the keyword of a victim and shows which kinds of individuals become most frequently to be bullied. It solves the share of boys and girls on aggressive behaviour. It also takes into account the bullying from the juridical point of view, outlines the possible kinds of prevention against the bullying in families and first of all at school. This thesis also describes the consequences of the bullying on its victims. The last part of the thesis deals with proposal of possible steps to be taken in order to solve the bullying. In a practical part there are introduced two ecclesiastic Grammar schools in Prague where students of selected classes have been asked for their experiences with appearance of bullying at their school. Their answers have been examined - also in the graphical form.

Statistical Analysis of Real Process Scrap
Širjovová, Zuzana ; Karpíšek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bednář, Josef (advisor)
Quality, as well as stability of processes check is nowadays gaining on its significance. The main driving force of its increasing importance is the rapid expansion of series production. Large-scale manufacturing processes are concerned, in terms of the number of operators, direct and indirect influence on rejects, but also on process stability. There are several quality characteristics, defined by utility properties, that can be easily measurable (linear dimensions, solidity, elongation, humidity, concentration) or directly immeasurable, mostly subjective (fragrance, taste, color, comfort while using, appearance). Statistical Process Control-SPC features the preventive tool of quality control, because based on the early detection of significant divergences of the process from the predetermined level, it is possible to execute interventions in the process with the aim of maintaining the acceptable and stable level and improving the process. This manufacturing process check will be the topic of my thesis. At first, Shewhart's control charts analysis will be done to determine strong process instability. Consequently, analysis will be carried out in test chi-square, used to determine the influence of each factor on the process of stability (operators, type of shift, type of product, type of defect on the product). All the practical part will be processed in statistical software MINITAB15. The thesis will be complemented by the findings from the examination of the features of interval estimates of parameter p for binomial distribution - numeric stability in the various statistical software (specifically Minitab 15, Statistica, Matlab 7.8.0). Master's thesis was supported by project from MSMT of the Czech Republic no. 1M06047 Center for Quality and Reliability of Production.

Effectiveness of the government expenses on alcoholism prevention in the period of 2003 - 2013
Jeřábek, Denis ; Barák, Vladimír (advisor) ; Brabec, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with expenditure on drug policy and impacts of this policy on consumption of alcoholic beverages in the Czech republic in the period of 2003-2013. The theoretical part characterizes the drug policy in the monitored period. Moreover, it deals with definition of roles and responsibility in this policy, provided services and programs of the National drug strategy. In the second section of the theoretical part there is a focus on consumer tax, while the amount of them has a big influence on the consumption of alcohol in the Czech republic. The theoretical part discusses in depth the consumption of all alcoholic beverages, it also analyzes the expenses of the drug policy and effectiveness of them in details. The result of this bachelor thesis is the fact, that the expenses of the drug policy may affect the final consumption of alcoholic beverages. However, the consumption of alcohol can be influenced by many other factors. The recommendation of this bachelor thesis is an idea of creating a separate drug policy, what may cause a struggle against considerable alcohol consumption more effective.

Psychological stress and its management
Štulhoferová, Radka ; Franková, Emilie (advisor) ; Jankůj, Miroslav (referee)
In these days psychological pressure and stress are relevant and actual because the times are fast-moving, living pace is faster and the life without stress does not exist anymore. Stress is playing more significant part in our life and most people has a lot of stressful experiences. The teoretical part is based on connections between psychological pressure and stress. Consequential part is focused on prevention and stress management. In the following part methodological procedure, data processing methods and evaluation of results are explained. The next part includes the research results and the final part state possible propositions and recommendations to solve the problem. The aim of the thesis is to characterise psychological pressure and its categories by mentioning examples, causes, effects and options management. On the basis of this executed research the aim is also to determine how students of University of Economics in Prague (VŠE) cope with these stressfull situations, how they respond to it and how they manage to have this influential factor under control, and to comment on the results and potencial recommendations to optimalise management of these situations.

Refractive lens exchange and glaucoma prevention
Smržová, Tereza ; Němcová, Iveta (advisor)
The objectives of this thesis were: You summarize and clarify the existing development and potential implantation of intraocular lenses with an emphasis on the use of multifocal intraocular lenses in patients with refractive defects, You collect data on intraocular pressure measured in the preoperative and postoperative examination in patients with implanted multifocal intraocular lenses You evaluate and compare the results of postoperativeexaminations with the results acquired in the preoperative examination focus on the size of intraocular pressure, depending on implantation of multifocal intraocular lenses You evaluate the importance of preventing an increase inintraocular pressure in the treatment of refractive errors and cataracts using multifocal intraocular lenses in patients You compare the results obtained from own studies have published studies in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Application Dorn´s method Prouzová Púry in hallux valgus deformity
MAŤHOVÁ, Aneta
Hallux valgus is one of the most frequent static deformities of the forefoot while genetic predisposition has considerable influence here. This deformity is closely associated with the emergence of the transversal flatfoot. Broadened forefoot causes serious difficulties not only as a cosmetic defect, but also because it is painful when weight is put upon it. Also, calluses and blisters significantly reduce the selection of suitable footwear. The main goal of this paper is to summarize information on etiology, morphology and treatment options for hallux valgus diagnosis. The other objective is to apply the therapy of Prouzová Pury Dorn Method and to assess the effect of this treatment. The data for therapy evaluation are obtained from podobarographs and radiographs, kinesiologic examination and from patient surveys. The theoretical part is focused on anatomical structure of the foot, ontogenetic and phylogenetic development of the foot, kinesiology, foot function, muscle groups connecting the bottom of the foot with other body parts. The largest section is devoted to the foot examination techniques, the characteristics of the hallux valgus diagnosis, its etiology, prevention and treatment methods ? both conservative and surgical. As regards conservative treatment, I deal especially with Prouzová Pury Dorn Method which is also used in the practical part of this paper. The concluding part of the paper shows the application of Prouzová Pury Dorn Method therapy and its effect on the body movement system of four patients. The therapy was applied for the period of fifteen weeks. Processed and evaluated instrumental measurements, kinesiologic examination and patient surveys should clarify the changes caused by the treatment. Research results are summarized in the discussion and conclusion part.
