The Integrated Urban Development Plans on the example of Usti nad Labem

The content of this thesis is the analysis of the Integrated Urban Development Plans in the Czech Republic, which is then particulary demonstrated on the example of Ustí nad Labem. The regional capital has now initiated the creation of three Integrated Urban Development Plans, two of them have a zone character -- IUDP Center and IUDP Nestemice -- Mojzir settlement, and one with a thematic orientation on the transportation -- IUDP Mobility. In the theoretical part is the urban dimension of Cohesion Policy discussed, followed by its form and metodology in the Czech Republic. The specific IUDPs of Usti nad Labem are subsequently summarized in the practical part which is focused on the application of the documents, the evaluation of the actual interconnection of projects and find new starting points for the next programming period

CComparison of Proexport Policy in the Czech republic and Germany

The first chapter of the diploma thesis includes a theoretical introduction in the problems of international-trade policy. The second chapter describes the trends in the czech international trade within last few years. It also describes the proexport policy of the Czech republic including its institutional system in detail. The third chapter is structured very similar as the previous chapter. It covers the german international-trade and proexport policy including the appropriate german institutions. In the fourth chapter both the czech and the german system of proexport policy are compared. The thesis describes both the consistent and the different marks of the systems.

Software piracy and the methodology of it's investigation

The main objective of this work is to critically evaluate a sufficient portion of the circuit problem of software piracy and to propose solutions of sub-problems, to use the interpretation of all relevant laws and all other available resources and create a comprehensive picture of the case. The practical part should be primarily a manual for ordinary computer users, which should help them. At the same time I present a preview of the methods of the executive law enforcement authority - Police of the Czech Republic, which deals with the investigation of software piracy. Range of the methods used in my work is not wide, which is partly due to reluctance of companies to cooperate because it is a relatively sensitive information, but it fully covers the needs of work and make it possible to have a final vision of the subject.

The current form of uncovered hemp grow houses in Czech republic

The work presents description of the current form of non - legal cannabis cultivation in bg grow houses, in the Czech Republic. It maps the methods, used by the growers and also usable material for the highest success in breeding for enhanced content of delta 9 - tetrahydrocannabinol in cannabis. And also provides a partial insight into the activities of police in detecting these illegal grow houses. The aim of this work wasn't to completely map this specific area, but to describe and compare the informations, which are available from the public sources and which deal with the theory of manuals on hemp cultivation and mutually compare the different procedures used in real grow houses. The theoretical part summarizes the facts from literature focused on this topic. It defines the term cannabis, describes procedures and equipment needed to grow in the soil, then summarizes the requirements for a particular hydroponic cultivation, explains the concept of grow houses and provides possible ways to detect them. The practical part is dedicated to the research, the results are evaluated and then draw the answers to research questions and conclusions arising from this study. Interest Rates

This thesis is focused on the study of interest rates, It consists of four chapters. The first chapter provides introduction to this issue, presents basic terminology and different method of interest rate process. The second chapter re- presents theoretical one-factor and two-factor models of interest rates, it is mainly aimed at Vasicek, Dothan and Cox-Ingersoll-Ross model, which are used in the practical part. The third chapter is devoted to internal bank policy, describing the most important factors influencing amount of interest rate and credit limit. The last part of the paper is the practical application of one-factor models on real data. At the beginning of the chapter, we describe methods of parameters esti- mation, which are used for individual models. Numerically estimated parameters are inputs for simulations of yield curves by these models. 1

Support for NUMA hardware in HelenOS

The goal of this master thesis is to extend HelenOS operating system with the support for ccNUMA hardware. The text of the thesis contains a brief introduction to ccNUMA hardware, an overview of NUMA features and relevant features of HelenOS (memory management, scheduling, etc.). The thesis analyses various design decisions of the implementation of NUMA support -- introducing the hardware topology into the kernel data structures, propagating this information to user space, thread affinity to cores and nodes, memory allocation policies, load balancing, etc. The thesis also contains a prototype implementation of ccNUMA support in HelenOS for the AMD64 platform and a brief evaluation and comparison with ccNUMA support in other monolithic and microkernel-based operating systems.

Upper-Extremity Prosthetic fitting after amputation

Title: Upper-Extremity Prosthetic fitting after amputation. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to provide a comprehensive and ilustrating summary of findings from the field of orthotics and prosthetics , specifically the issue of upper limb amputation and subsequent prosthetic equipment. The core is to describe the technological production processes, policies, principles and types of upper limb prostheses and care of the pacient, so the thesis could serve as a teaching tool suitable for various specializations. Methods: For creation of thesis was used qualitative research method of data collection and analysis of secondary data from scientific articles, magazines and publications. The method used for data verification was informal chat with expert. Results: The results provide sufficient evidence for the use as a guide and tool of prosthetic procedures. Maternity leave, education and employment market

The thesis "Maternity leave, education and employment market" discusses problems parents in Czech republic who balance their obligations to both work and family encounter. The work adverts to difficulties of returning to a job after a maternity/parental leave. The most frequent problems parents returnig to work are coping with are: securing a job, outdated qualifications and work experience or absence of a flexible working conditions. The thesis shows ways and means to solve this problems. Special attention has been paid to the topic of education of parents on or after parental leave. It includes actual possibilities and particular examples of educational various projects (eg. motivational, focused on language skills development, enterpreneurial skills courses). Two of the mentioned educational projects have also been evaluated in this thesis. Elearning programs seem to be especially suitable for the target group of parents on parental leave. The thesis also includes some suggestions on how to motivate employers to implement the work-life balance policies, such as flexible working hours or home based work.

Asset price bubbles and monetary policy reactions

This thesis' intent is to analyze stock market bubbles - to bring forward their causes, characteristics and possible aftermath. Hereinafter is this work aimed at presentation of possible monetary policy reactions, its influence on bubble development and impact. I will also present arguments in relation to central bank interventions. The principal point of this thesis is an application of theoretical framework onto actual examples. Therefore have I selected 17th century Tulipmania, Black Monday (October 1987) and Japanese Bubble in the '80s? Closing part is focusing on Black Monday and Japanese Bubble comparison, which are considered to be typical benign and malign crash examples, and on evaluation of relevant monetary policy reactions. Reform of common agricultural policy (CAP)

Tématem mé diplomové práce je reforma společné zemědělské politiky Evropské unie. Ve své práci se zaměřuji na analýzu této problematiky od počátku 90.let až do současné doby. Reformy SZP zkoumám jak chronologicky, tak i tématicky. V diplomové práci pojednávám o příčinách, které vedly k realizaci reforem SZP. Rozděluji je na vnější a vnitřní faktory. Zabývám se MacSharryho reformou, relevantními pasážemi Agendy 2000, které se vztahují k otázkám reformy společné zemědělské politiky Evropské unie. Dále zahrnuji do své diplomové práce reformu SZP z roku 2003 a příslušné pasáže Lisabonské smlouvy týkající se SZP. Z tématického hlediska jsem téma reformy SZP rozdělila do čtyř okruhů. Analyzuji změny politické, finanční, právní a změny cílů. Ve své diplomové práci hledám mimo jiné odpověď na otázku, zda došlo v souvislosti s realizací reforem SZP EU od počátku 90.let ke změnám ve všech čtyřech výše uvedených kategoriích. Nedílnou součástí mé práce je rozbor způsobu fungování agrárního sektoru ve všech členských zemích Evropské unie. Rovněž zkoumám souvislosti mezi reformami SZP EU a zemědělskou politikou v členských státech Evropské unie. Zjištěné poznatky shrnuji v závěrečné části mojí diplomové práce.
