Integration of the IBM SoftLayer into the ManageIQ Framework

As cloud computing gains its popularity the complexity of offered services is growing. There exist various different solutions and to manage them effectively is the task for cloud managers. One of them is a project named {ManageIQ}. This thesis aims to describe how to integrate a new provider into this software, what are the required bindings and how to work with the API of the provider. This thesis describes such a process on an IBM SoftLayer provider example. The achieved result enables the user to manage his SoftLayer devices via ManageIQ with ease and also provides him the functionality to provision new appliances.

Sketchup Woodworking Plugin

Main goals of this work are to understand the SketchUp application, learn the basic tasks of fiberboard furniture design and the design and implementation of tools, which should increase efficacy of these tasks. Tools are created as plug-ins for SketchUp using its Ruby API. The text it self is focused on fundamentals of 3D computer graphics and use of them in SkechtUp, fiberboard furniture design processes and the woodworking plug-in it self. Described tools are used for creation of board models, their management through user interface and generation of edging for boards.

Game Server Administration System

This bachelor thesis describes configuration and management of the most used game servers, as well as analysis and implementation of the client-server application architecture to control the server. Also some of the tools used to control and configure game server is included. Major differences among various games and servers important for the design of this general tool are described in details. Some of the servers built upon the GoldSource, Source, Id tech, Unreal or TrackMania engine are included into comparison. Important part of the comparison is the description and an example of creating a new extension for a game.

The Base for Automatic Generating the Information Systems - The Generator

The cost of human resource is the biggest part of a budget in case of developing an information system. The goal of this project is to lower this cost as much as possible using automatization, but still keeping the possibility to handle each project individualy. The work is separated into two parts (generator and product), each described in a different thesis. This thesis describes the generator, whitch is responsible for creating and managing products.

The demand for simple information systems is increasing, giving opportunities to new small companies to sell their products. These emerging companies often develop their own low-cost systems, but mostly due to lack of proper design and hurried development is the reusability low and a new version is needed when new project begins. The goal of this thesis is reducing the cost of creating and maintaining simple information systems using automatization and modularity, allowing a mass production, but keeping a space for individual customizations.

Microarray Data Interpretation

This Bachelor thesis explains the basics of biochip or microarray data interpretation, starting with short introduction to genetics, especially genetic information significance evaluating. The focus was set mainly on the set of scripts transforming and analyzing the sample data. The data used in this thesis are a result of biochip analysis of the Colon Tumor tissues. The secondary result represents disclosing the main marker for this particular type of cancer, the primary result is evaluation of marker significance in the context of signaling pathways. The resulting pathways are sorted by relevance.

This work deals with the visualization of the theater stage. Describes stage technique, the individual components, their activities and way of management and movement. Brings the concept of modeling and simulation, because visualization software simulates the movement of components. As part of this work was implemented visualization software. Its design and implementation is describes in this work.

The aim of this work is the implementation of the application which serves for an automatic intelligent creation of tests relating to scripting languages Ruby and Python and regular expressions with support of an automatic evaluating of answers.
