Deployment and Utilization of Business Intelligence Tools

The bachelor thesis focuses on the deployment and utilization of the Business Intelligence tool for the Faculty of Business, especially in the field of admission procedures for doctoral studies using the Microsoft Power BI tool. The first part of the thesis describes the theoretical basis of Business Intelligence and Microsoft Power BI, which will further contribute to the solution of the whole work. The second part analyzes the current state of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Business. The last third part of the thesis contains a proposal of my own solution, where I use analyzes, reports and visuals to try to help the top management of the Faculty of Business with strategic decision-making.

Remains of Internal Emigration

This diploma project has been gradually composed from performative applications of fragments of my poetry collection which is being written. It deals with the presentation possibilities of literary poetry by its author. Simultaneously it reflects the particulars of my poetry practise that is, amongst other things, strongly inspired by Vladimír Holan's inner emigration. Since I’m working with open material I’m not binding myself to a concrete goal/purpose.

Selection and development of educational materials for high school support webpage www.studiumchemie.cz

This diploma thesis deals with selection, design and creation of new education materials for high school teacher supporting webpage www.studiumchemie.cz. The selection of the proper theme was done on the basis of research and evaluation of recent materials on the mentioned webpage and materials created at the Department of chemical education of Faculty of Science of Charles University in Prague. Preliminarily, the themes of synthetic macromolecular materials and new materials were selected. The convenience of the selected themes was confirmed by research and evaluation concerned to the preliminarily selected theme of recent high school textbooks and webpages. Consequently, educational materials in the form of PowerPoint presentations, websites, worksheets, tests, games and experiments focused on the themes of synthetic macromolecular substances and new materials were created. Materials were processed in accordance with the Framework Education Programme for Secondary General Education (Grammar Schools) as well as in accordance with the requirements of the Catalogue of graduation exam requirements from chemistry. The PowerPoint presentation and the webpage on synthetic macromolecular materials were roughly evaluated by group of teachers and the results of the evaluation are also part of the thesis....

Rococo fashion on the portraits of the noblewomen in the Czech Lands and their visual self-presentation

This bachelor thesis explores rococo clothing of noblewomen in Czech Lands on the basis of representation portraits and other contemporary paintings. The first section summarizes the secondary literature using the basic facts of rococo fashion development. The next section describes a portrait as a historical information source. The last, crucial section presents detailed descriptions of portraits and documents the universal and specific features of women's fashion. The result is a set of typical attributes of aristocrats rococo clothing in Czech Lands from the thirties to the eighties of the 18th century.

Role of art education teacher focusing the presentation of school creative production

Researched topic of the thesis is The role of art teacher education focused on the presentation of art works. Art teacher is given in context to the curator of the exhibition, the curatorial activities. Curator of the exhibition is a relatively new professional level, very important especially for contemporary art. The theoretical part of the work confronts profession of educator and curator of the exhibition. It searchs for a new fields of two environment meanings that combines art. Interest is whether and how the profession of the teacher and curator of visual encounter is met. I search and describe this during studies. Subsequent interest is the presentation of pupils' work, and whether it is an important part of the activity of fine art teacher, looking for steps it goes through. As well as what the teacher's attitude towards exhibitions and other forms of presentation of pupils' work. Educated high school students are familiar with the possibilities and circumstances presenting their own works of art, learn about the background of the exhibition project. Relations between the Municipalities as Founders of Schools and their Management, especially in Terms of Financing

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of the quality of mutual relations between the municipalities as founders of nursery and primary schools and their management, especially in terms of financing. It is concerned with the interaction on the elementary level, issuing from the legal regulations, as well as on the facultative - above standard - level. It deals with the headmasters' financial rights and duties. It draws on the related managerial functions and competences of the highest school management. It is based on the theoretical facts, practical knowledge and the research on this issue. The purpose of the thesis is to decide, whether the mutual relations between the municipalities and their nursery and primary schools in the Central Bohemian Region, district of Kutná Hora, should be viewed as high-quality/adequate in terms of financing and related aspects. The relations are analysed through the quantitative research and the findings point out towards the low-quality/inadequate interaction in the examined area. They draw attention to mutual drawbacks and insufficient activity in the development of appropriate relations in terms of financing. Lisure time activities for children and teenagers in the village of Dřevčice (Information video)

The goal of this thesis is to produce a video and a presentation outlining possibilities for leisure-time activities for children and adolescents in Drevcice. As part of the thesis, a draft and a shooting script were created, and then the video was shot based on the script Pinnacle Studio Ultimate version 14 and Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007, respectively, were used for this. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with Pinnacle Studio, its development, especially in comparison to other selected editing programs, such as Adobe Premiere and Nero Video. Furthermore, the thesis compares visual presentation techniques witha view to creating PowerPoint presentations. The final part of the thesis describes the practical application of both the video and presentation created.
