Wireless Networks Displaying on PDA
Liška, Jan ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with design and realization od an application for Pocket PC which displays wireless networks on a map. The goal of this project is to display signal coverage of an area together with a base station. This paper also deals with GSM localization. The main part describes station position calculation, concept and implementation of the application. In the end there are suggestions for future development of the application.
PDA for Information Distribution in Closed Networks
Maslaňák, Martin ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with creating client - server application. Client part of the application is created with a help of the Compact .NET framework and it is running on the mobile facility (PDA). Server part is written on .NET framework and it is running on the desktop computer. In the first part I characterize PDA facility, it's using and also I discuss communication between SQL Servers and PDA facilities. Next part describes .NET platform and advantages, which this platform provides. Also I tried to show differences between client - server architectures, because of understanding in my working. The last part of this work deals with implementation of the client - server application.
Navigation for Location Based Information Distribution
Ziegler, Zdeněk ; Kumpošt, Marek (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This master's project deals with location based systems and their application in information distribution. The work discuss kinds of getting actual location. Then it focuses on problems of developing applications and description of Microsoft technologies for mobile devices. Based on obtained theoretical information we present design, implementation and testing of our own location based system.
Application for Data Presentation and Modification in Mobile Devices
Kučera, Pavel ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Trchalík, Roman (advisor)
This thesis is aimed to study the possibility of usage of mobile devices in the sphere of automation. One automation company needed to have in hand some PDA-based tool for a remote control of the technological process. There is analysis of ability of contemporary portable devices to run a application software. According to the specified requirements there is designed and implemented the client-server system based on the VNC technology. The server is a Linux-based PC server implemented using Xinetd daemon and the Xvnc. The two standard VNC clients were made. A free software available under the GPL license was modified to implement them. One runs on Windows Mobile operating system and the other one is a Java MIDlet.
Augmented Reality for Android Platform
Lžičař, Radek ; Zuzaňák, Jiří (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with Google Android platform, augmented reality and the ARToolKit library. An application demonstrating augmented reality for Google Android was designed and implemented in this thesis.
Usage of PDA for Distribution of Information in Closed Net
Ryšánek, Vojtěch ; Techet, Jiří (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
The task of this project is to build application for managing of multimedia data in enclosed wireless networks and to present this data to the user. In model case it can be for example city guide - on position given by GPS are presented information about surrounding scene. Application must be capable of downloading data into Pocket PC - PDA and present them to the user as user friendly application.
Position Tracking with GPS and PDA
Černohorský, Vilém ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This work presents steps in creation of remote position tracking application. Document introduces history of geographical positioning and navigation, and describes development of navigation from primitive utilities to complex radio navigation systems. Global Positioning System is described in more detail including NMEA protocol used by GPS receivers. This work also presents several current navigation applications. Based on obtained information work presents analysis, object-oriented design and implementation of remote position tracking system.
Computer Support in Mapping Survays
Hanák, Ondřej ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
The report deals with creating applications for Pocket PC, designed to aid with terrain mapping process. Topic falls within the field of geographic information systems (GIS), so the text begins with an analysis of related topics such as GIS itself, processed data characteristics or global positioning systems (GPS). Available handheld platforms are discussed and based on analysis of existing commercial application, the requirements on developed program are set. Description of application architecture and some implementation details follow. The conclusion is devoted to testing functionality by mapping the real geospatial object.
Universal Windows Mobile Database Connector
Pohořelský, Roman ; Schäfer, Jiří (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is communication process between a mobile device and a server. The work is concerned with development of application in Windows Mobile in the light of technical limitation. The thesis also deals with the development of application for universal mobile database connector which then enables transparent working with information, obtained from database placed on server, on the mobile device.
Influence of operational conditions on spray characteristics of twin-fluid atomizers
Zaremba, Matouš ; Lízal, František (referee) ; Jedelský, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with measurement of spray characteristics of Effervescent atomizers intended for burning waste and heavy fuels. Atomizers were tested on cold test bench by means of Phase Doppler Anemometry. Spray characteristics were evaluated for many different regimes of pressure, temperature and Gas to liquid ratio. The aim of this measurement is to compare flow regimes and their influence on the quality of spray characteristics. The theoretical part describes basic fundamental principles of liquid atomization, effervescent atomization and principles of laser diagnostic methods. The practical part is engaged with improvements in test bench and setting up and optimization of the laser measuring system. Results contain visualization of spray, velocity profiles and drop size distribution in various operating flow regimes of the jet.
