Identifying a genetic predisposition affecting sports performance, focusing on anaerobic activity of skeletal muscle activity
Balkó, Iva ; Kohlíková, Eva (advisor) ; Šimonek, Jaromír (referee) ; Zvonař, Martin (referee)
Title Identifying of genetic predisposition affecting sports performance focusing on anaerobic activity of skeletal muscle activity Problem Inborn predispositions of every individual are mainly influenced by the inherited genetic information in their DNA with the addition of external environmental factors. Based on the high variability of the inborn predictions in the form of phenotypic differences in the anatomy or physiology of an individual, it can be deduced on the connection between genetics and a specific sport talent. According to current scientific knowledge, anaerobic performance of the skeletal muscle tissue seems to be more genetically influenced. Anatomic and functional properties of the skeletal muscle are mainly influenced by genes, which have effect on the muscle fibre structure, blood storage, metabolism, neurotransmission, and muscle regeneration, etc. Fencing is a complex sport discipline where predispositions to speed and dynamic force play a key role. The sport performance in fencing, regardless of the type of weapon, is directly dependent on the interactions between the reaction of the fencer to the surrounding stimuli (visual, tactile), accuracy, tactical and technical skills, level of anticipation and overall physical a psychological readiness of the fencer. This work is...

Effect of the eight-week intervention training program with the CrossFit system on physical fitness
Crkalová, Monika ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Jebavý, Radim (referee)
Title: Effect of the eight-week intervention training program with the CrossFit system on physical fitness Objective: The aim of the thesis is to examine the influence of an individual intervention CrossFit training program on the development of strength and endurance in a semi-professional, systematically training 21 years old athlete. Methods: The thesis has the characteristics of case study. We firstly carried out a research and followed with an intervention. The theoretical part consists of the research, i.e., the information about fitness and physical condition, CrossFit, strength and endurance training, diagnostics, the effects of the training, periodization of the training and regeneration. The practical part consists of the casuistic of the proband, who went through an 8-week training program. In order to determine the importance of the tests, we had to establish their error rate. To do so, we added up the error rate of the method, that is 1%, and the biological error rate, that is 2%. Thus, the final error rate is 3% of the initial value. We can consider the improvement in the test significant if it is greater than 3%. To evaluate, we applied the methods of analysis and comparison of the first week's results with the final week's results. Results: We observed an improvement in both...

Title: Comparasion of the results of athletics talent tests in years 2007 - 2016 Objectives: The objective of my thesis is to compare the results of athletics entrance talent tests to FTVS UK in years 2007 - 2016. In the researched group there are both - men and women applying for single-subject and double- subject forms of study, full - time and distance form of education. Methods: The methodology of the thesis is focused on all candidates who applied for talent tests in 2007 - 2016 and achieved the minimal required score of 1 point. Results: The results monitor efficiency of candidates in running disciplines over a period of ten years. Keywords: athletics, testing, talent tests, motoric tests, 800 m women, 1500 m men, sprint, 100 m
Intervention motion program for women using walking barefoot.
BENDOVÁ, Dominika
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to the design of an Interventional movement program using barefoot walking and verifying the progress of the equilibrium abilities of the tested women. Because of research, 20 women were divided into experimental and control groups. In general, women often wear unsuitable high or narrow shoes, which has a detrimental effect not only on the balance but also on shortening of the muscles, deformation of the foot arch and fingers and it can cause other diseases of the whole musculoskeletal system. Women underwent an initial measurement to determine the level of equilibrium abilities. Women underwent entry and exit measurements using motor tests to determine the level of equilibrium. With the pre-set hypotheses in mind, it has been concluded that the experimental group improved in 5 motor tests from 7, the control group was more successful in 2 tests, but only within negligible tenths of a second, a statistically insignificant difference. The respondents' success rate in dynamic equilibrium was higher after completion of the program, with 51.85% than the static equilibrium with 48.15%, the whole 3.7%. The dynamic balance is more stimulated by barefoot than the static one. Due to the exercise and the inclusion of barefoot walking throughout the three-month program, the experimental group increased its level of equilibrium ability.
Comparison of physical fitness grading in Czech soldiers in years 2008-2015.
Mužátko, Simona ; Komarc, Martin (advisor) ; Přívětivý, Lubomír (referee)
Title: Comparison of the results of the annual examination of professional soldiers in years 2008-2015. Aim: The aim of the thesis is to describe the grades of the annual examination of physical training of professional soldiers (VZP) in 2008-2015 before and after the introduction of a new system of physical performance evaluation. The monitored group consists of soldiers and soldiers of the Army of the Czech Republic (ACR), who are subordinate to the Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Republic Army. The secondary aim of the thesis is a longitudinal comparison of the individual performances in the annual testing tests in the years 2011 to 2015 in the 43th Airborne Battalion. We will find out the results of VZP in the period we have determined, focusing on age categories. Methods: This is a quantitative study. A comparison of the percentages of individual marks over the years is performed using the Pearson chi- square test. Due to the size of the research population, the statistical comparison is performed on a random sample from the research sample (N = 500 test subjects). For the secondary objective, we assessed the changes in test results over the years (2011 to 2015) using a hierarchical linear model for both dependent variables (Cooper's test and pull ups), one separate model with...

Title: Mutual comparison of results of fitness tests and tests of floorball skills among talented Czech youth and youth from the Vysočina Region. Objectives: The main aim of the Master's thesis is to evaluate the level of player skills and fitness skills among regional youth teams and youth from the Vysočina Region. For the comparison, the categories of younger and older male and female pupils, and junior men and women were selected. Methods: For the purposes of this Master's thesis, the method of quantitative research of the categories of younger and older male and female pupils, and junior men and women in floorball from the Vysočina Region was applied. The floorball test battery of the Czech Floorball, consisting of fourteen player tests focused on floorball skills and fitness skills, of which seven scientifically standardized tests were selected, was used for testing. For the determination of validity, an expert analysis was used, a repeated measurement (test - retest) was performed to determine the reliability of the tests, and the Fleiss' Kappa value was calculated to determine the evaluators' concordance. Results: The results of the paper, based on the comparison of the data of the club from the Vysočina Region, and the regional teams' data, showed that girls (junior women and older female...
Athletic Skils of Youth athletes
Štvánová, Anna ; Vindušková, Jitka (advisor) ; Kaplan, Aleš (referee)
Title: Junger junior's Athletic skills Objectives: To describe the athletic skills of secondary sports school pupils (non athletes) and to compare them with the athletic skills of children who are members of an athletic club. There will be evaluation tables created to measure the given skills. Another aim is to measure and compare general performance test results of both groups. Comparasion will be done against the general population and each other Methods: Observational cross-sectional study, observation, descriptive analysis, video recording, scaling, comparison Results: Secondary school pupils did not achieve similar results in general performance tests. The smallest differences in motor tests were recorded in the long jump, in other tests were bigger differences. In hurdlets, pupils differ from athletes, as I expected. The assumption that the best children in general performance tests would be the best in motor tests did not confirm completely. For pupils, this assumption was clearer, with athletes the best performers in motor tests didn't have the best results. Key words: Junger junior's, motor skills, performance, motor tests, older school age
