Romantic Characters in the Work of Victor Hugo
Vorlová, Magdalena ; Listíková, Renáta (advisor) ; Ébert-Zeminová, Catherine (referee)
Although Victor Hugo is considered the leader of romanticism, His work can be found in many realistic elements. We explained that realism no opposition to romanticism, but that the two mutually permeate streams that Romanticism is the basis of realism. In the novels we studied we find a number of common thematic elements, both romantic and realistic. The author's access to them but not never clear. Romantic motif of the mask is the extreme, imprisonment, for some romance, full of mystery and environment-friendly refrigeration, portrays Hugh realistically menacing, while the realistic theme builds social problems Hugo to the fore quite romantic hero. About any of Hugh's prose can not unequivocally say that it is realistic or romantic. In all we find side by side elements and motifs of the two directions intertwined and mutually complementary, one based on the other. Paul Bénichou characterized as a synthesis of the "harmony between the real and ideal, the sense and spirit, and potential natural"

For clarity's sake, each part of the work is separated on direct taxes and indirect taxes. This work emphasizes constructive elements of taxes in the Russian Federation and their development.

Interpenetration fine directions in selected literary works end of 19th and early 20th century - Secession tendencies and mosaic
Procházková, Tereza ; Hrabáková, Jaroslava (referee) ; Stejskalová, Anna (advisor)
110 RESUME The thesis is focused on the interpretation of several literary works from the turn ofthe 19th and 20th century. Selected works characterize certain elements, themes and motifs, which occur in the visual arts ofthis period. One can thus speak ofthe mutual interpenetration of literature and fine arts. This includes, for instance, the return to nature, which was meant to bring renewal and or a desire for creative originality to both - literature and Art Nouveau. Just as in Art Nouveau style, a woman appeared in literature as beautiful as a mirage, which was often displayed in two locations, as otherworldly creature - a fairy, or a femme fatale. The beginnings of Czech Art Nouveau with literature is attached to popular fairy tales, fairy-tale motifs and characters, dreaminess and lyricism. Art Nouveau ornament in the literature showed after linguistically as frequent repetition of words, themes or phonetic groups. Important in tenns ofthe interaction of literature and Art Nouveau was a magazine Volne smery, published since 1896, edited by Frantisek Xaver Salda and by artists Jan Preisler and Stanislav Sucharda, which in the first years contained, apart from modem arts, a major literature part.

In the introduction, work contemplates human direction to the transcendent in terms of topicality of Islam today. We view the phenomenon of Islam from a historical perspective, from the viewpoint of the Catholic Church, followed by a brief excursion into the history of Islam in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, we compare the whole system of both religions. Description of the structures of faith reflecting the concept of God, the holy scriptures, the contents of faith and eschatological orientation. Furthermore, we present a comparison of ethics, community, elements of faith and celebration of holidays. The chapter devoted to mysticism, after the overall comparison, discusses two Muslim mystics and further focuses on the spiritual plane of the two religious systems. After the introduction of rituals associated with the life of a believer in the religion we attend to the position...

Fluid and structure interaction
Růžička, Martin
The subject of this thesis is the numerical simulation of the interaction of two-dimensional incompressible viscous flow and a vibrating airfoil. A solid airfoil with two degrees of freedom, which can rotate around the elastic axis and oscillate in the vertical direction, is considered. The numerical simulation consists of the finite element solution of the Navier-tokes equations coupled with the system of ordinary differential equations describing the airfoil otion. The time dependent computational domain and a moving grid are taken into account with the aid of he Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) formulation of the Navier-Stokes equations. High Reynolds umbers up to 106 require the application of a suitable stabilization of the finite element scretization. Numerical tests prove that used method is sufficiently accurate and robust.

Czech on website of discount servers
Ihnatsenia, Hanna ; Hoffmannová, Jana (advisor) ; Starý Kořánová, Ilona (referee)
This thesis deals with the complex characteristics of communication that occurred on the webpages of the discount servers during Fall 2011 - Spring 2012 capturing specific combination of both, professional and word-of-mouth, advertising styles. Advertising texts produced by the advertising agent could be described as informative and persuasive with entertaining elements of gameplay and humor. Informative function is being realized by means of professional style (e.g. using words of foreign origin) associated with seriousness and literary expression, and by means of preparing different forms of advertising texts and publicity on the Internet. Realization of persuasive function happens through informal and direct communication using salutations, imperatives, emoticons, slang and domesticized terminology of foreign origin, and through presence of Czech spoken speech in these texts. Dialogue between agents and customers occurs in corresponding internet forums that is certain mixture of correct and neutral opinion on one hand and manipulative, exaggerated, emotional and often ungrammatical expressions on the other hand. Moreover, the names of these discount servers are formed in terms of word formation (e.g. Slevomat, Slevopolis, Vykupto, Zapakatel, Nebeslev, Mydeals, etc.) describing their motivation....

Study of resonance and threshold effects on simple two-channel model
Kocák, Jakub ; Čížek, Martin (advisor) ; Kolorenč, Přemysl (referee)
In this thesis we study simple one-dimensional two-channel scattering model where pointlike coupling between channels is provided by the delta potential. The scattering task can be completely solved analytically. The solution of the Lippmann-Schwinger equation leads to improper scattering eigenvectors, consequently to scattering S matrix elements and eigenphases. We study how the setting of parameters affects threshold and resonant behaviour (presence, position, width) and the mutual relationship between resonances and poles of the S matrix in complex k-plane. Then we apply projection- operator formalism to model with resonance and the on-shell T matrix is separated into the orthogonal, direct and resonant term. We discuss how choice of subspace of quasi-bound states effects the separation. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Design of cable-stayed pedestrian bridge
Uher, Lukáš ; Kulhavý,, Tomáš (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
This diploma thesis aims to design a structure of pedestrian bridge over the Svratka river. To make a preliminary study of possible bridging, three different outlines were drafted. The cable-stayed variant was selected for further analysis. Two towers, inclined in both their longitudinal and transverse direction, support a cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete deck through stay cables anchored in the tower and the deck. After determining the desired initial state, a finite element analysis was carried out using the Ansys software. The capacity of all main load-bearing elements was checked so it meets the ULS and SLS design criteria in accordance with EN 1992 codes.

Making Theatre in London
Nováková, Hana ; SÍLOVÁ, Zuzana (advisor) ; VEDRAL, Jan (referee)
The thesis examines contemporary British theatre focusing on the dynamic between a playwright, a director and an actor, which is very different in the UK from continental Europe. Describing specific London productions as well as the history of modern British theatre, it tries to identify what are the defining characteristics of British directing, acting and playwriting. Each chapter focuses on one of these elements and defines British theatre in realation to the Czech scene. By comparing selected productions of the same British play in Prague and London the author draws attention to the possible difficulties that might arise while staging British drama in a different cultural context.
