Women artists in Bohemia in the nineteenth century

The thesis consists of three chapters, which aim to describe and summarize the pivotal themes, important for the history of female art in Bohemia, i. e. questions of their origin, art education, placement and reception of their art in the temporary criticism. The first chapter inquires into forms of the artistic education according to the kinds of the social origin of the women. Separately it describes the issues of education for professional women artists and women of noble birth. A special attention is paid to the theme of an organized training in visual arts, which was provided by private arts schools at first. An important position among them had the school of drawing for ladies, founded by the painter Amalia Manes in 1853. The essay suggests some circumstances realting to this private school. In the 1860's the art education went through a considerable progress, when a new forms of art teaching were created, based mostly on arts and crafts aims. Considering the fact they arouse about twenty years before establishment the Arts and crafts school in Prague, where they on a relative high level. Lexicon of nursing in Russian-Czech Comparison

The Bachelor thesis deals with lexicon of nursing in Russian - Czech comparison. The aim is to compare selected Russian and Czech expressions from point of view of word formation and to determine which ways predominate in these two languages. Component parts deal with mechanisms of word formation. We use comparative analysis. Collected Russian expressions are compared to their Czech equivalents.The thesis is mainly focused on terms of this field. It tries to find out if there are some regularities in the structure of loanwords and if these two languages use loanword or create their own word. It comprises also chapters about history of nursing, terminology, origin of medical terminology and professional slang. Supplement includes Russian-Czech dictionary containing diverse medical expressions and texts with medical topics.

Confrontation of work of photoeditors in selected Czech and American Newspapers

Graduation thesis entitled "Confrontation of work of photo editors in selected Czech and American periodicals" discusses the important profession of photo editors in the Czech Republic and the United States and attempts to compare it in these two different countries. In the first part I would like to briefly outline the history of photojournalism in the Czech Republic and the United States and describe the aspects which influenced it during two centuries. In the next chapter I focus on notions, since not everyone is familiar with the position and powers of newspaper photo editors, and the types of photographs the journalism operates with. Here I explain the emergence of the profession which is much younger than actual photojournalism. In the research section I want to - through the use of interviews with several professional photographers and photo editors - explain the various procedures and newsroom routines. I focus mainly on the habits and processes, that go before the capturing the photograph, and subsequent decision-making process in selecting images for the newspapers. 20th years of the magazine Sestra

The bachelor's thesis "Twenty years of the "Nurse" magazine" deals with the history of Czechoslovak nursing magazines since the early 19th century until the present day. Its attention is focused especially on the "Nurse" magazine, which is (according to Media Project) the most widely read professional health care magazine title at the moment and intended not just for nurses, but also for other non-medical workers in the health care sector. It examines not only the contents and graphic layout of the magazine, but also the personalities of its editors-in-chief and chairwoman of its Editorial Board, and also maps its travels round various publishing houses. There is also a summary of marketing support of the magazine and related projects, as well as a description of its competitors in the Czech magazine market. The thesis presents a qualitative survey, which maps out readers' communities of selected professional periodicals, perception of the quality of contents of various magazines by readers, usability of the information each of them brings in day-to-day health care work, willingness and motivation of health care personnel to publish articles in professional media etc. Its purpose was to determine whether the "Nurse" magazine is indeed a good partner in the lifelong education of non-medical health...

The role of lifelong learning in the practise of the nursing profession

The thesis has the theoretical and empirical character and is divided into eleven chapters. The first chapter explains the reasons for the selection of the topic. The second chapter is focused on the history of nursing and the origins of education of nurses until establishment of the nursing education system discussed in detail in the following chapter. The third chapter is divided into the parts focused on the education system in the world and in our country. In the individual subchapters is described the period from the establishment of the first nursing school in London in 1860 to the present. The fourth chapter characterizes individual forms of lifelong learning, as provided for in Act No. 96/2004 of the Collection of Laws of the Czech Republic. The fifth chapter lists the conditions for attainment of registration while exercising the nursing profession. The sixth chapter describes a professional organization and its position in the lifelong learning of nurses, and is followed by the summary of the theoretical part and the valid regulations in the seventh part. Resumé I choose the theme my graduation theses "The Legal Premises of Parenthood". I choose this theme from the graduatin's theses for me most interesting. The sence my graduation theses is finding and writing about parenthood with reference to these as babybox, reproduction and subrogatoin's motherhood. The theme "The Legal Premises of Parenthood" is important for my practise in law office, too. My practise in law office is especially in civil law and in family law. Family law is for me nearest law, that I want to follow family law after my ending university education in my professional life. I think, that family and parenthood are important theses for everybody in personal life. And I want to follow these family and parenthood in my professional life, too. I want to be a good lawer in family law. Every theses as babyboxes, reproduction and subrogation's motherhood have aspects, that are important for today's people. Professional preparation on spanish nurses and their job opportunities

The goal of bachelor's thesis is to analyze the evolution of the profesional preparation of Spanish nurses. Enrols the frst atemptt to systematization of nursing education of laic nurses in the 1st half of the 19th century. Follonws the proces of the profesional career and institutional establishment of the Spanish nursing system in the end od the 19th century and in the begining of the 20th century. Describes the unification of various nurse professionals during the age of Franto's dictatorship, (1939-1975), and informs the readers about the proces of transformation of nursing education during the democracy period. The initiation of Spanish nursing education in the University, in 1978. was a very significant moment in the Spanish nursing history. A qualitative observational study was carried out to document the content that the Spanish nurses actualy have about their educational system and completes with the information about the job opportunities of the 12 informants.

Project and realisation of a ropes course in the selected region

Name of the bachelor essay: Ropes course - project and execution of the project . The goal of this bachelor essay is to create a complete step-by-step document of a rope center realization in the Recreational and sport center U Starého Rybníka in Zbraslavice by Zruč nad Sázavou. The reader will be briefly introduced to the history and development of the rope centers and the following environmental education. Further it offers the description and the extended current processes and means necessary to build a rope way, which we later on implicate into the practice in a real rope center with 7 rope obstacles. The methods used in the period of creation of this bachelor essay were firstly collection of the data from Czech as well as international literature and experiences of the professionals in fields that directly concern rope activities. Gathered data were used for the proposal of a rope center project, which was approved and later on indeed realized. The result of our work is the collection of experiences and knowledge, which offers to the reader a complete view of the rope center building process from the very first project until the first step on the rope obstacle. Professional interpreter in the 21st century: new technologies and social networks

The topic of this master's thesis is new technologies and social networking sites in the field of interpreting. The theoretical part discusses how, over the course of time, technological advances have altered not only the face of interpreting itself but also the way interpreters work, and presented them with new possibilities. This part also briefly deals with the history and functioning of social networks, namely Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and examines the possibilities social networking sites offer in terms of marketing. The empirical part presents conclusions drawn from the study. The purpose of the study was to determine general tendencies in the use of new technologies and social networks by Czech interpreters. The questionnaire distributed online focused mainly on the following points: ownership of smartphones and tablets, awareness of technical novelties in interpreting, use of social networks for professional and marketing purposes. A total of 150 people took part in the study. The analysis of collected answers revealed that the number of tablet or smartphone owners amongst the participants is quite high, that participants are skeptical towards nontraditional ways of interpreting and that interpreters use social networking sites rather for communicating within the interpreting community...
