The transition of trade relations in Visegrad countries
Kurnas, Martin ; Kalínská, Emílie (advisor) ; Král, Petr (referee)
The aim of this work is to analyze the changes in foreign trade of former Czechoslovakia (Czech and Slovak Republic), Hungary and Poland after the year 1990. The thesis focuses predominantly on reorientation of foreign trade in terms of territory and commodity structure and points to the factors that determined this reorientation. The first part of the work deals with the situation before 1990 and the second part describes the development of foreign trade in the 1990s. Except from foreign trade, the thesis also draws attention to the changes in economic system in selected countries.

Phytoplankton of the Slapy reservoir: seasonal changes and sedimentation losses
Krutílková, Lucie ; Desortová, Blanka (referee) ; Nedbalová, Linda (advisor)
Seasonal development of phytoplankton in the central part of the eutrophic canyon-shaped Slapy Reservoir was studied in 2003-2007. Weekly sampling interval of the euphotic layer (0-4 m) revealed detailed information on the timing and shape of phytoplankton peaks, not clearly detected by previous monitoring carried out in three-week intervals. The phytoplankton biomass (expressed as chlorophyll a concentration) formed usually three sharp peaks during the vegetation period. In winters with little or no ice cover, the winter minimum was followed by an exponential increase under conditions of almost continuous mixing. After the onset of thermal stratification the increase continued due to markedly improved light conditions in the epilimnetic layer, until the first seasonal maximum was reached. After the sudden decline of the spring peak, the clear-water phase occurred in late May or early June. The pattern of the two summer peaks was especially in 2006 more complex, due to their dependence on a set of less predictable factors. Concerning species composition of peaks, a regular pattern was also observed. Typically, the spring maximum was formed by fast growing cryptomonad flagellates (Plagioselmis spp., Cryptomonas spp.) and small centric diatoms from various genera. The other two peaks were less...

Application of the Theory of Statistics to Controlling Processes
Strašák, Tomáš ; Zichová, Jitka (referee) ; Koch, Roman (advisor)
This dissertation is considered to statistical control of call center. There are suggested a possible description of the center and identify key parameters which influence its performance on the base of measured informations. In this work is describe construction of a call center model which is used for generation specified scenarios of incoming phonecalls. This experimental data are analyzed, main factors which influence its efficienty are determined and principles which realization can be reached given targets are described. Basic attention lead to maximization of benefit and consequetive estimation optimal amount of operators. These principles as same as estimated dependances subserve as decision-making knowledge what amount of operators and theirs expedient combinations is optimal and for estimation of impact to efficiency and call center function in a case of making changes.

Redistribution aspects of Public finance
Plevková, Dana ; Klazar, Stanislav (advisor) ; Teklý, Lukáš (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the problematics of redistribution of public finance. The factors interfering in the process of redistribution are described here. The attention is paid to equality of redistribution of incomes within the group of monitored households. Since the level of redistribution is influenced by different factors, their analyses are carried out here. The levels of incomes redistribution inequality here are measured in monitored Czech hoseholds in the years 2005 until 2007. Calculations comprise analyses of individual types of incomes and items which influence equality of redistribution. A part of conclusion consists of comparison of the results from the mentioned statistics with the data published by OECD. The main aim of the thesis is confirmation or negation of the following hypothesis: "Tax system and social security system markedly influences redistribution of incomes in Czech households.".

Seasonal dynamics and diversity of protist organisms in peat bog microhabitats.
Mutinová, Petra ; Kulichová, Jana (advisor) ; Šťastný, Jan (referee)
This bachelor thesis summarizes the literature dealing with diversity of protist organisms in peatlands. First part presents brief general characteristics of peatlands for the acquisition of basic knowledge about this ecosystem. Further, this work concerns closely with spatial dynamics of protists in peatlands, with emphasis on microbiotops. The final part reviews available information on seasonal dynamics of protist organisms in peatlands and also on the factors that have an influence on seasonality. This work concludes that the community of protist organisms in peatlands is different from those observed in other ecosystems. The composition of the community of protists in peatlands is very heterogeneous, because it depends on the type of microbiotop and prevailing physicochemical conditions. The communities of protist organisms are subject to seasonal dynamics as well. Nonetheless, this issue is largely unexplored so far, because there are substantially less recent studies concerning peatlands than for example other aquatic ecosystems that are frequently used for water quality monitoring.

Analysis of Options to Enter a new Market
Lacina, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor) ; Novák, Michal (referee)
This thesis deals with analysis of macroenvironment of Kenya´s market. The main goal of the thesis is to find out, if the macroenvironment enables entrance for company producing condoms to Kenya´s market. Besides that the barriers which restrict the entrance to market are mentioned. The thesis mentions an influence of the barriers. The thesis uses PESTEL analysis for the indetification of the key factors which determine characteristic of the market. Using the PESTEL analysis enables to determine barriers of the entrance to Kenya´s market. On the output of PESTEL analysis is used DEMATEL method which was used for quantification of the PESTEL analysis output. Using DEMATEL method enabled to determinate influence of the particular factors of PESTEL. Because of using DEMATEL method thesis determinates political, economical and social factors as the strogest factors and it is necessary to devote them main attention. They may mean the most important barrier for entrance. Simultaneously DEMATEL determines political, social and legal factors as the factors with the biggest influence. Outcomes of this thesis provide information about macroenvironment of Kenya´s market for any company producing condoms.

Impact analysis of large dam constuction with case study of Orlik water dam
Milaberská, Lucie ; Khendriche Trhlínová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Vochozková, Jacqueline (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the large water dams realization and their impact on the adjacent region and its development. The aim of thesis is to identify the most important effects associated with the construction of dams and analyze them. The theoretical part defines basic terms, categories of dams and the impacts of their construction, included the planning proces too. The problem is practically solved on the example of the Orlik Dam. The methods that has been used on this topic were literature review, data and available resources analysis and also there were used microhistorical approach. It can be assumed that dams have great impact on the surrounding environment, but the volume of the impact is always determined by many factors. Due to the amount of planned infrastructure projects is needed to pay extra attention for consequences of their realization considerable.

Factors Influencing Job Satisfaction in the Selected Organization
Lepiarská, Diana ; Urbancová, Hana (advisor) ; Fajčíková, Adéla (referee)
At the present time, most of employers realize, how important motivation of employees is and consequently their job satiscaction. Motivation has an extraordinary influence on quality of done job and the overall results in the company. Good job motivation through motivational factors may lead to quality results and high performance of employees, which may bring a huge competitive advantage to the company. On contrary, poor job motivation may impair economic results, and therefore it is very important for employers to pay close attention to this subject. The main objective of this work is to determine the level of job satisfaction of employees of selected company, identify problem sections and suggest solutions, that could improve the job motivation of employees. In the first part the theoretical solutions are compiled on the studied literature. The second part of the bachelor thesis further describes company dm drogerie markt and also here are processed results of the questionnaire inquiry. From the compiled results were made sugestions for improving current situation in the company.
