Drdáková, Lenka ; Kobesová, Alena (advisor) ; Slováčková, Lenka (referee)
Purpose: The aim of this research was to determine whether there is a difference in the presence of minimal cerebellar signs, hypermobility and dyspraxia in the group of patients with idiopathic scoliosis (IS) and a control group of individuals without IS. Methods: 11 patients have been selected for this research with IS and 11 individuals without IS as a control group. The International Cooperative Ataxia Rating Scale (ICARS) was used for examination of cerebellar signs. Hypermobility was evaluated with ten tests according to Janda. The presence of pendulum reflexes was determined by examination of patellar and triceps reflex, while dyspraxia was analyzed by means of the Czechoslovak test. Results: Patients with IS scored significantly worse in ICARS than the control group (p < 0,05). IS patients presented with significantly more pronounced hypermobility in head rotation (p = 0,0384) and forward bending (p = 0,0409) tests comparing to the control group. No significant difference between the two groups was identified in pendulum reflexes and the Czechoslovak dyspraxia test. A new role of the European Central Bank in financial supervision
Hartmann, Ivo ; Tomášek, Michal (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Václav (referee)
This Thesis shall analyze the development, resp. the actual changes made in the structure of the European financial supervision system. The analysis is done with a view to the deepening economic integration of the Member States of the European Union, whereby in the Thesis the European supranational financial supervision is perceived as a necessary result of the supranational economic cooperation. However, it is also to be borne in mind that the structure of the European financial supervision is or - at least so far - it has been very imperfect, because the Member States of the European Union were willing neither to institutionalize the cooperation in the sphere of the supranational financial supervision nor to hand over any supervision competences to the supranational level. The Thesis takes into account, in particular, the impacts of the world financial crisis and its influence on the European financial supervision structure. However, with a view to the fact that the Thesis analyzes the long-term development of the European financial supervision as well as incentives, obstructions and goals of the particular former reform steps undertaken in this field, in addition to the impacts of the world financial crises the Thesis also analyzes other decisive factors. As for other factors that - from our...

Szobi, Pavel ; Jakubec, Ivan (referee) ; Stellner, František (advisor)
The Council for Mutual Economic Assistance (Comecon) was an organization which was founded much more because of political than economic reasons. During the first years of its existence it was a soviet power instrument to control the economics of the Eastern Europe and later it became a middle o so called socialist economic integration. The most important part in it played the German Democratic Republic and Czechoslovakia, countries with the best developed industry in the soviet bloc. Their economies supported less developed allied countries and lastly also the Third world countries which assumed the idea of communism. Often comparisons of the Comecon to the West European integration caused that the Eastern bloc tried to establish cooperation with the European Economic Community and to imitate its success. But an analysis has shown the pointlessness of these attempts. The Eastern bloc wasn't able to reform its institution for an economic integration and the downfall of totalitarian regimes automatically leaded to the Comecon decline.

Integration of Heterogeneous Information Systems
Kulhánek, Jiří ; Zavoral, Filip (advisor) ; Král, Jaroslav (referee)
Information systems are becoming an inseparable part of today's world. Together with their significance arise an emergency to integrate them to enable their mutual cooperation and so extend the facility and quality of their use. Nevertheless, this integration is carrying a number of difficulties and obstacles, which are needed to be dealt with by architects of these new and often unexplored solutions. In this work the given problematic is summarized, the basic concepts of possible approaches are introduced and the concrete challenge connected to the integration are aimed together with the ways how to solve them. Thanks to this, the project Integration of Information Systems of Charles University with its architecture of Data-Pile structure and the project Unitary Network of Italian Government as an example of Cooperating Information System can be analyzed in detail. These two integrating solutions from practice are illustrative examples of actual problems in this field, which we face in this day and age.
