Professional career of the woman

The target of this bachelor thesis is to sketch out the puzzle around the professional career of a woman from several points of view. The first chapter is focused on professional career as such. It informs the reader, among other things, about the stages, which does man go through during his professional life or the most widely known teories of professional career. It then introduces ways of how do organisations take part in development of professional career of an employee. The second chapter engages in legislative anchorage in both national and international field. The third chapter attends professional career of a woman throghout history, but also at present-day situation. Alongside it this thesis deals with facts that distinguish the career of a woman from the career of a man. The last fourth chapter outline the puzzle of harmonisation of a professional and family life, because this area distinctively influences the situation of women on the labour market.

The pastoration of mentally disabled people

THE PASTORATION OF MENTALLY DISABLED PEOPLE The Bachelor's thesis offers a comprehensive look at one of the areas in which the Church is active in pastoration, with a focus on the target group of mentally handicapped people. It characterizes the stance of the Church and its pastoration approach towards the mentally disabled, particularly with regard to categorial pastoration, pastoration in less common situations, and the pastoration of the sick (handicapped), approaches that mutually blend together. The thesis includes a look at the issue of being mentally handicapped, with a breakdown of the most frequent types and a classification of the degrees of the intensity of mental retardation with regard to the possibilities of their education and socialization. Also specified are the areas of pastoration that mainly concern the mentally disabled. The thesis also includes a description of the possibilities of the pastoration of the mentally disabled and a specification of the conditions of this work, in which are also listed the specific requirements placed on the pastorizing person and on the Church community. Comparison of the political and economic indicators of selected Balkan countries in context of efforts to join EU

The aim of the work is to comparate readiness of selected Balkan states for membership in European Union. I will target the former Republic of Macedonia, which has already been granted candidate status in 2005 and the Serbia and the Montenegro, which have the status of potentional candidates. The first section will focus on historical context, which effect the current political and economic situation. In the second part, I will make comparison of selected Balkan states in implementation of economic kriteria (particuraly the GDP, GDP growth rate, GDP per capita, unemployment, functioning market economy) and political criteria (human rights, democratic government, rule of law), which are part Copenhagen criteria for EU accession. Finally, I appraise the results of the comparison of the indicators listed above and recommend the time when these countries could be accepted.

Comparison of the economic development of Malaysia and the Philippines

The work deals with the history and current development in the economies of Malaysia and the Philippines. It focuses on causes of economic underdevelopment of Philippines. Afterwards it targets the impacts of crises, the issue of poverty and the implementation of new policies in both countries. The work is diveded into five chapters. The first and the second chapter summarize the development until 1997. The third chapter is focused on the Asian crisis - its origins, progression and consequences, and the fourth and the fifth chapter describe the situation in both countries in the 21st century.

Socio-educational assistance to parents of infant patiens

Dissertation "Socio-educational assistance to parents of infant patients" maps and describes the specific needs and problems of parents of children that arise in connection with hospitalization of children and care for them. The work is theoretical in nature and is supplemented by empirical probe mapping experiences of parents of children hospitalized with the provision of care and assistance. The target of the core, analytical and descriptive part of this dissertation is to map the situation of families with seriously ill children, to name the primary problems of the current system of providing care and to highlight the possibilities for their solution. Definition of specific problems faced by parents looking after infant patients is based on empirical investigation of cases and narrative analysis of interviews with parents and is supported by conclusions of professional literary sources. The results of empirical investigation, including five case reports, are presented in the second part of this dissertation. The chapter on concrete possibilities to help parents and families of seriously ill and disabled children and also the chapter dealing with the specifics of the socio-educational action to help these families are trying to sum up the practical implications of this dissertation.

The role of radiologist assistant in the diagnostics of injuries and diseases of the locomotive system

This theme is very extensive and space for writing about it is limited in my bachelor's work. I targeted the work on role of radiology assistant by doing individual investigations. At the beginning of my bachelor 's work anatomy of musculoskeletal system and her passive and active parts are described. Than I would like to give details of main investigation's methods of musculoskeletal system, describe situation of the indication and differences in displaying various part of musculoskeletal system. In the next part of my bachelor's work I wrote more details about basic principles of the main methods, indications and contraindications of the main methods, role of radiology assistant by using one of the main methods and benefits and disadvantages these main methods. At the end of my bachelor's work I compared role of radiology assistant doing the investigation with using the different main methods (as CT, MR, X-ray, sonography, scintigraphy) and time, physical and technical intensity of the methods. Research comparing of knee - joint's investigations with using three methods of the main methods is too the part of my bachelor's work. Integration of Latin America

The objective of the thesis is to describe and analyse the processes of integration in Latin America. The first part focuses on the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA), especially on the reasons which caused the failure of the project. The second part targets the new born Union of South-American Nations (UNASUR), the motives for its creation and analysis of the actual state of affairs. The third part presents the current political situation which is crucial for the succesfull operating of the UNASUR.

Illegal migration and detentism in Czech republic

Economical prosperity vs. expulsion and detention centres create a connected system of push and pull factors that characterises current f10w of ilIegal migration. The Czech Republic has become a targeted country of ilIegal migrants shortly after the falI of communism in the late eighties of the last century. However for many of ilIegal migrants, it is stilI a transitive country on their way further west. The study deals with the impact of the EU entry on numbers of detained illegal migrants or asylum seekers in Czech detention centres. It describes living conditions in the biggest and oldest Czech detention centre in Bálková and criticises them. It also analyses situation at the Czech border and concludes that after May 2004 the crossing of illegal migrants has become much easier thanks to the withdrawal of custom tariff controls. The thesis describes Czech practice of deportations and presents relevant statistical data's. Biographical interview s with detained asylum seekers are included as well. The concentration focuses on illegal migrants form China and Ukraine, who create majority of detained inmates. Thesis concerns the analysis of poverty in the Czech Republic and a comparison with the situation in Germany and the Slovak Republic. The target is to find factors that are risk given the level of poverty and the level of risk of poverty or social exclusion in the Czech Republic, Germany and the Slovak Republic and get answers to research questions. Methods of scientific research is the analysis of secondary data drawn from Eurostat, the OECD and the statistical offices in selected countries.
