Orff's Schulwerk in the Preparation Process of Children's Choirs

Calculations of nanocrystalline diamond-covered waveguides based on amorphous silicon
Jirásek, Vít ; Prajzler, Václav ; Remeš, Zdeněk
Nanocrystalline diamond (NCD) coatings on planar waveguides (WG) in the IR region allow to design optical sensors sensitive to absorbers like proteins or other biomolecules. In this contribution, we present a 2D model of a multi-layer WG developed under FEM (finite element method) simulation software Comsol Multiphysics. The model is based on the modified wave equation solved in the frequency domain and includes optical absorption. It was found that for the single-mode WG working in the narrow region of 1550-2000 nm the silicon thickness must be 150-320 nm. It was found that in order to keep a reasonable signal attenuation, the NCD film must be prepared with the optical absorption coefficient lower than 10 cm-1, being a rather challenging task. Dependencies of the signal attenuation on the NCD film thickness, absorbing layer height, its absorption coefficient and exciting wavelengths are presented.\n

Media (self)presentation of selected representatives of the CPC between years 1967 - 1969
Suchá, Veronika ; Končelík, Jakub (advisor) ; Vondrová, Jitka (referee)
The name of this thesis is Media (Self) presentation of selected representatives of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (CPC) between the years 1967 and 1969. The crisis in the political system, which happened between the years 1967 and 1969 in Czechoslovakia, changed the social role of the media. The media became an active element of democratic plurality for a short time. The relationship between political authorities and the media changed too. The CPC power monopoly in the sphere of media was disturbed. During the period after the military invasion of to Czechoslovakia (August 1968) by the Soviet Union the media and journalist returned to the old ways of operating. This work tries to answer to few essential questions: Are there some differences among media self presentation of the leaders of the CPC? Were Czechoslovakian politicians prepared to cooperate with a truly independent and strong media? Were they able to use the media to really have a dialogue with the public? The synthesis of substituted pyridines employing gold(I) catalyst
Janoušek, Martin ; Špulák, Marcel (advisor) ; Kuneš, Jiří (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Inorganic and Organic Chemistry Candidate: Martin Janoušek Supervisor: PharmDr. Marcel Špulák, Ph.D. Title of thesis: The synthesis of substituted pyridines employing gold(I) catalyst This work is focused on the preparation of 3,4-disubstituted pyridine derivatives. MBS- protected propargylamine and MS-protected 1-ethynylcyklohexylamine provide with methyl propiolate to form appropriate 1,5-enyne, which undergoes Sonogashira coupling with various aryl iodides. Substituted enyne is subjected to cyclization yielding appropriate tetrahydropyridine in the presence of catalyst tris(2-furyl)phosphinegold(I) chloride. Derivate substituted by pentamethylen-1,5-diyl didn't cyclize. Deprotection leads to the preparation of substituted pyridines, which could serve as an intermediates in organic synthesis or potentially with biological activity. Keywords: gold catalysis, enyne cyclization, pyridine derivatives

Evaluation of Legislative Regulations for Special Road Transport Between the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, the Benelux States and Great Britain
Handová, Jitka ; Libertín, Josef (referee) ; Kudláček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of legislation for special transport between the Czech Republic and some member states of the European Union. The term special transport comprises the transport of very heavy and oversize loads which exceed limits allowed by the legislation of member states and the European Union itself. The diploma thesis is preferentially concentrated on regulations providing limit dimensions, transport conditions and elements that ensure safe transport of loads to the target destinations – Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom. The final document is going to become the overview of information for freighters who can apply it in the process of preparation and the following ensuring of oversize loads to the countries, see above. The results of the diploma thesis can be applied by the institutions in the branch of international freight, the police or the institutions of the public administration.

Microstructure and Properties of Spark Plasma Sintered Al-Zn-Mg-Cu Alloy.
Zyka, J. ; Málek, J. ; Pala, Zdeněk ; Andršová, I. ; Veselý, J.
High entropy alloys are a new material class with promising structural and mechanical properties in wide range of applications. In principle they consist of five or more elements in equimolar concentrations resulting basically in single phase microstructure. TaNbHfZrTi alloy was developed by Senkov for high temperature applications.\nSince all of these elements are biocompatible the TaNbHfZrTi alloy can be investigated as a prospective bio implant material. The alloy was prepared by vacuum arc melting, no annealing treatment was applied. Tensile test and hardness test at room temperature were performed with very good results: yield strength 1155 MPa, rupture strength 1212 MPa, Vickers hardness 359 HV30. Microstructure and fracture morphology was also investigated.
