HelenOS packet filter

Packet filtering is an essential feature of any operating system that aims to function as a network router or gateway. This thesis aims to extend the HelenOS operating system to support this functionality. We analyze packet filters present in modern operating systems and implement a HelenOS service that provides a configurable and extendable packet filter. We also modify the HelenOS networking stack so that it allows an arbitrary service to function as a packet filter. IEEE 802.11 wireless networking for HelenOS

IEEE 802.11 (a.k.a. WiFi) is a popular wireless LAN specification. This thesis documents implementation of this standard within the experimental operating system HelenOS which differs from conventional operating systems with its microkernel-based design. First, the basic concepts of WiFi technology are described. Description of external tools used during development is following. Together with that, the chosen method of integrating the wireless framework into existing system is depicted. In the next chapter we analyse the implementation details of the work. There is thoroughly explained the structure of the driver for selected WiFi device and also the functionality of resulting IEEE 802.11 library. In the end of the thesis there is an evaluation of the features of final work and comparison of enclosed implementation with existing solutions.

IPv6 for HelenOS

This thesis extends HelenOS operating system in order to be IPv6 capa- ble. New IPv6 protocol implementation is on the same level as previous IPv4 protocol implementation. HelenOS networking stack now offers three modes of networking: IPv4-only, IPv6-only and dual stack mode. Dual stack mode enables usage of both protocols at once. The thesis describes previous state of HelenOS networking stack, analyzes differences between IPv4 and IPv6 protocols and gives reasons for single strategic decisions. In fine, it describes used implementation and debugging techniques, concludes results and compares HelenOS with other microkernel operating system from the IPv6-capability perspective. 1

A Testing Tool for Network Applications

The use of network communication in applications increases their complexity and can lead to new security vulnerabilities. Existing tools do not completely satisfy the needs of network application testing. The purpose of this thesis is to create a new tool that would make it easier to test network applications. The main focus is on the overall extensibility of the solution, primarily the ability to add new protocols. The created tool is capable to operate in client, server or proxy mode for supported network protocols and to control their communication manually or using a script. Support for other protocols can be added through plugins. Social Capital of Civil Society Organizations: Interorganizational Relations Across All Sectors

SYNOPSIS The diploma thesis deals with social capital of Civil Society Organizations, which is introduced here as a strategy for achieving the objectives and mission of Civil Society Organizations through networking and building relations with key players in their surroundings. Through the example of Civil Society Organizations providing services in Tábor the diploma thesis provides insight into the problematic of creation and maintenance of interorganizational relations with stakeholders across all sectors and therefore building external social capital of organizations. The theories of social capital and interorganizational relations with regard to the specifications of Civil Society Organizations are presented in the theoretical part of this thesis. The research part presents findings based on qualitative research, which was conducted through semi-structured interviews with representatives of Civil Society Organizations. The findings and results are and summarized in the conclusion.

Macropraxis as the still neglected element in the Czech social work

Diploma thesis analyses the macro practice in the Czech social work. It defines macro practical concept and its relationship to social policy and community social work by analysing the Czech and foreign specialized publications. It defines the key knowledge, skills and abilities which macro practicioner should manage. It emphasizes the macro scope towards the political representation. Macro practical methods are presented too. Diploma thesis defines two main principles - networking and evidence based practice. At first, macro practicioner is the creator of professional's networks or social services network. Secondly, in the evidence based practice macro practicioner is obligated to manage his decision making process on the base of the best and the most recent scientific researches. It all concludes the macro practice framework, which leads to the efective work with social excluded people. Macro practice is viewed as the approach, which helps clients, communities, regions and target groups in the implementation of their civil right, when it uses the enpowerment techniques. Politicizing Sexualities: Mobilization practices and networking within the LGBTQ movement in contemporary Madrid

This ethnographic study intends to explain the recent mobilization practices within the LGBTQ movement in contemporary Madrid in reference to the strategic use of identity and networking in collective action. It describes the Spanish movement as an ideologically polarized heterogeneous aggregate. The active challenging groups criticize the dominant part of the movement for giving up its original message of sexual liberation and diluting it in consumerism by supporting capitalist tendencies and the power of leading political parties. Via launching protest campaigns and collaborating in internationally supported networks with other ideologically related social movement communities, the challenging groups demand civil rights for all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or identity. They mobilize upon the collective identity of "precariousness" while integrating elements of queer and transgender theory into their radical leftist oriented politics in order to transform the Spanish society. By bringing on new critical ideas and adherents, the success of the leftist oriented challenging groups has an impact on the direction of the politics of the dominant group, which thereby is forced to adopt such ideas into their politics. Support for small and medium-sized businesses in the Czech Republic in terms of reference networking- impact on income tax and newly established working positions in 2014

The thesis deals with the issue of support for small and medium-sized businesses in the Czech Republic focusing on one of the market-based forms of such support in terms of networking. Specifically, the work is aimed at reference networking, and describes it in detail using an example of its representative in the Czech market. Within its theoretical part, the work defines the concept of small and medium-sized business. Further it explains the concept of promoting entrepreneurship in terms of public and market support. In the framework of this distinction, examples of some of the forms of such support have been listed. On the example of Switzerland, local representative forms of public support of entrepreneurship have been presented and compared to those in the Czech Republic. Further, networking concept has been introduced, and some principles of its operation have been defined. Different kinds of networking have been described. In the practical part, functioning of reference networking in particular, has been described more in detail on the example of the company Business for Breakfast Česká republika s.r.o. Using a questionnaire survey among the members of this concept, its benefits for both the members of the concept, as well as for the state budget have been investigated. The analysed benefits are examined in terms of both budget revenues, as well as in terms of cost savings. Fields of business, for which reference networking seems to be most beneficial, have been mentioned. In the end, benefits of representative public forms of business support with reference marketing have been compared. The study has confirmed that reference networking is an effective form of market-based support for small and medium-sized businesses, and has a positive impact on both the state budget, as well as on creating a favourable business environment in the Czech Republic. Despite public forms of business, these benefits are demonstrable and measurable.

Bachelor thesis Activities and functioning of New Web organisation aims to detailed analysis of this culture network. What paths choose, how fulfills its visions, etc. Describe the formation of the organization, motivations and partial steps, which New web takes for its funcioning. How partial sections of this organism thinks and how cooperate.
Also this thesis deals with organization structure of New web. Collectively write an overview of activities this network. Uncover sources of funding. All in relation with functioning of another culture networks in Europe. Concretely IETM, Trans Europe Halles and IN SITU organizations. In conclusion wants to outline future direction of New web organization.
