Editor of Object Oriented Petri Nets
Kovács, Zoltán ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
The thesis deals with design and implementation of the editor object-oriented Petri nets described by language PNTalk. A PNTalk compatible representation and storage format based on XML technologies will be created. The design of the individual parts of the editor focuses on the internal storage facilities, on the graphical user interface and its functionality. In the final part there are practical demonstrations of the application.
Universal Graphic Editor Library and Python Module
Košulič, Jaroslav ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
The diagrams, schemes, and graphs in general are widely used in the field of easy-to-read information visualisation. We use them for example in the school lessons for an algorithm presentation, or in the technical jobs such as software and hardware development by modelling UML diagrams, database schemes, etc. The project Universal Graph Editor has been established two years ago to fill the gap with the software tool providing such a modelling engine. The previous work has been reasumed in semestral project by design of the dynamic graph drawing (or the drawing of a vector graphic in general) and the library for graph manipulation with C-language interface. This master thesis continues further by creating a Python module using the developed interface. The documentation and the testing phase is conluding the annual work.
CAD System for 2D Drawing
Murín, Michal ; Chudý, Peter (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis is aimed at the design and creation of CAD system for 2D drawing. It introduces the use of computers in manufacturing and the advantages the use of computers brings, general definition of CAD systems and requirements imposed on them. The thesis contains the design of generated CAD system, and as a practical part it introduces implementation of the designed application. Finally it summarizes what has been achieved in developing and what could potentially be achieved in further expansion of the application in the future.
Vector Based 2D Drawing Program
Chroboczek, Martin ; Chudý, Peter (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis solves the issue of vector computer graphics and its creation. At the beginning there is a brief overview of available software tools with examples of typical application areas. It is followed by a description of 2D vector graphics editors, which are the primary focus. Described is a typical user interface of such programs, together with a description of the basic features and functionality of these applications. After the theoretical part is followed by the design our own vector based 2D drawing program, including its implementation, the tools and core technologies. Finally, there is included an evaluation of the results, assessing the future directions of the project.
Project of Engraving device for graphics creation
Hložek, Vojtěch ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The objective of this master's thesis is to design and implement a system which would be able to transfer a picture (either a bitmap or a vector image) on a foundational material. The main part of the apparatus consists of a plotter controlled by two stepping motors. The engraving itself is provided by a marker mounted to a movable part of engraving head. There was a PCB created for controlling the entire system. It contains power supplies, a microcontroller and motor and engraving head controlling circuits. The second part of the thesis shows a microcontroller program and a user interface in a PC. The image is trasfered from the PC into the microcontroller where it is processed and, based on the controlling program, engraved to the material.
Synchronization of vector graphic between multiple clients and server
Votava, Štěpán ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Vencovský, Filip (referee)
Goal of this master thesis is to analyze existing algorithms for ensuring consistency in real-time synchronization of vector graphics between server and multiple clients, testing them, describe main differences and selection of the best for this purpose. The theoretical part is devoted to realtime comunication over HTTP, to WebSockets, to concurrency algorithms and to basics of application architecture. The practical part describes the technology used in this thesis, as well as actual application design a its implementation. The result of this thesis is an overview of concurrency algorithms, the choise of technology for real-time communication between server and multiple clients and implementation of selected technologies and algorithms in Node.js application.
Materials for teaching vector graphics with the Inkscape tool
TAKÁCS, František
The aim of this work is to create a set of illustrated tasks for teaching vector graphics in elementary schools. The current textbooks dealing with this type of graphics are focused primarily on the use of the products such as Callisto and Corel which were commercial software when this work was assigned, therefore this work focuses on the creation of the teaching materials for the open-source product Inkscape. The main outcome of these tasks are vector images with a file containing the assignments for individual tasks. In case of not finding an Inkscape tool corresponding to the Callisto tool, with which work the textbooks that are used to create the tasks in Inkscape, the work proposes a possibility of replacing the tool with a different one. Furthermore, the work deals with the issue whether it is possible to convert vector images between the mentioned products directly or by using other products for working with vector images.
Problem of typesetting a scientific text using LATEX
BOJKO, Pavel
The present work is focused on typesetting of scientific text using LaTeX. The main goals is introduce LaTeX to beginners and help them to overcome primary difficulties. Hence, there is explain how to install LaTeX, how to: customize the site appearance, write own text, generate tables and how to insert images, cross-references, mathematical formulas or lists of contents, respectively. The work also includes templates for a book, diploma work, seminar work and laboratory measurements. Each template is focused on another specific LaTeX problem: (i) typesetting of vector graphics and (ii) typesetting of music notes. Templates are prepared in way of "learning by doing", where the source code can be copied and modified using commands shown in the work.
Vector graphics education for primary school, working with graphic objects
PEMLOVÁ, Veronika
The aim of this graduation theses is a creation of comprehensive set with exemplars for vector graphics using by pupils of second-degree primary school, primarily working with graphics objects and exemplars verification in practise. Particular exemplars are worked up in training papers designed for pupils and methodical paper for trainers. The CD source files with particular exemplars and other helpful handout are part of this graduation theses.
Prepairing graphic data in IS applications - testing of transposition forms of bitmap and vector graphics
Parma, Lukáš ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Horný, Stanislav (referee)
Abstract This work is focused mainly on testing software (further referred to as only SW) for transposition of bitmap and vector graphics. The work is split in two parts. Basic types of graphics, differences between them, usage, advantages and disadvantages are introduced in the theoretical part. The best known formats are described for each type of graphics. Also, fundamentals of transposition between the formats and the different types of graphics are introduced. Similarly, the principle of rasterization and vectorization is introduced. The practical part of the work mainly focuses on vectorization. In total, five programs for bitmap and vector graphics transposition are tested here. Four different types of graphics were defined and chosen for the testing. A way of multi-criteria evaluation was used to compare the SW. The SW is evaluated in two ways. The first one compares the functioning of the SW, the second one focuses on the results of the vectorization process. Used methodology and the choice of evaluation criteria result from a subjective point of view of given problematics. The resume of the work brings detailed results of research along with comments to every evaluated SW.
