Complex Scene Rendering on Mobile Devices
Matýšek, Michal ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Kajan, Rudolf (advisor)
This thesis presents optimization techniques for efficient rendering of complex scenes on mobile devices. The introductory part of the text describes Unity game engine and the topic of mobile game development using this tool. Then follows a presentation of important optimization principles and methods for terrain rendering, large scale rendering of animated objects, rendering of animated water surfaces and of other elements in the scenes. The described methods include both general principles of optimization and specific optimization approaches based on the features of Unity game engine. The implementation of presented methods is described and used in practice in the context of mobile strategy game development.

Project of Efficiency Increase in the Entrance Procedure
Hornungová, Jana ; Appel, Milan (referee) ; Pokorný, Jiří (advisor)
Diploma thesis is oriented for intake and selection of employees. Right selected worker can increase effectiveness of company and in that way he is one of the pivot elements of the organization. That’s why is necessary do not downgrade selection procedure and find perfect worker and then try to create conditions for two-sided satisfaction. Diploma thesis contains theoretic and practical part, which will be processed on base obtained from Center for leisure time Lužánky. The point is to design a new way of in taking employees which would lead to elevation of effectiveness and would get specific order to the whole selection procedure.

Phyllotactic Model Linking Nano and Macro World
Horáček, Miroslav ; Meluzín, Petr ; Krátký, Stanislav ; Urbánek, Michal ; Bok, Jan ; Kolařík, Vladimír
Recently, the arrangement of diffraction primitives according to a phyllotactic model was presented. This arrangement was used to benchmarking purposes of the e-beam writer nano patterning. The phyllotactic arrangement has several interesting properties. One of them is related with the coherence between the nanoor microscopic domain of individual optical primitives and the properties of visually perceived images crated by these structures in the macro domain. This paper presents theoretical analysis of the phyllotactic arrangement in the referred context. Different approaches enabling the creation of diffractive optically variable images are proposed. The practical part of the presented work deals with the nano patterning of such structures using two different types of the e-beam pattern generators. One of them is a system with a variable shaped beam of electrons, while the other one is a system with a Gaussian-shaped beam. E-beam writing strategies and the use of inherent spiral patterns for exposure ordering and partitioning are also discussed.

EU fight against terrorism - "cyberterrorism" as a new security threat
Snížková, Žaneta ; Druláková, Radka (advisor) ; Dubský, Zbyněk (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with European Union and current security threats, concretely with Cyberterrorism. Cyberspace and internet became essential parts of our living over the last decades due to rapid development of information and communication technology. The increased dependency on cyberspace is visible in all governmental operations, public-private sector, financial and business operations, as well as communications between individuals and groups. As a result our society is facing new threats. On one hand cyberspace is a place for economic growth and innovation, on the other hand criminals, spies and terrorist use cyberspace as a place for their activities. Our society should be aware of these negative impacts as well. Cyberterrorism by its nature is considered to be a very dynamic phenomenon. Regarding this fact this thesis provides a dynamic way how to define Cyberterrorism and reveals main perspectives of Cyberterrorism. Tracking the European Unions Convention on Cybercrime and main means to fight Cyberterrorism, this thesis analysis whether European Union disposes of appropriate means to engulf the dynamic nature of this phenomenon.

Calculations of nanocrystalline diamond-covered waveguides based on amorphous silicon
Jirásek, Vít ; Prajzler, Václav ; Remeš, Zdeněk
Nanocrystalline diamond (NCD) coatings on planar waveguides (WG) in the IR region allow to design optical sensors sensitive to absorbers like proteins or other biomolecules. In this contribution, we present a 2D model of a multi-layer WG developed under FEM (finite element method) simulation software Comsol Multiphysics. The model is based on the modified wave equation solved in the frequency domain and includes optical absorption. It was found that for the single-mode WG working in the narrow region of 1550-2000 nm the silicon thickness must be 150-320 nm. It was found that in order to keep a reasonable signal attenuation, the NCD film must be prepared with the optical absorption coefficient lower than 10 cm-1, being a rather challenging task. Dependencies of the signal attenuation on the NCD film thickness, absorbing layer height, its absorption coefficient and exciting wavelengths are presented.\n

Symbolism and Constitution. Symbolic Elements in Hungary’s Fundamental Law of 2011
Halász, Ivan
The paper deals with issues pertaining to state symbols in the new Hungarian Fundamental Law of 2011. This document has introduced several new elements into the constitutional order (eg. the definition of state and national holidays, the symbolical role of the president, specification of currency in the constitution).

Statistical analysis of resocialization care after prison release
Dlouhá, Šárka ; Hlavsa, Tomáš (advisor) ; Michal, Michal (referee)
The level of crime has to be regulated in order to prevent the crime to cause major damage to society. Therefore it is profitable to address criminal recidivism as well. Recidivism is caused by a complicated process of reintegration of people with criminal records back to society. The main goal of this thesis was to find the main factors affecting reintegration process of people after incarceration. The thesis is trying to reach the results by quantitative research, specifically examining the frequencies and dependence of categorical variables. The main factors which influence the reintegration process of people with criminal past are unemployment and indebtedness. These elements are affected by certain demographic factors. These factors also influence the type of criminal activity and the probability of criminal recidivism.

Estimation of the cost of photovoltaic subsidies - Italy, France and Belgium
Hromádka, Ondřej ; Zajíček, Miroslav (advisor) ; van Koten, Silvester (referee)
The purpose of the master theses is to estimate gross direct financial cost brought about by support schemes for electricity generation in photovoltaic power plants in France, Italy and Belgium. In order to understand support schemes, I deal with legislation of each particular country and with its development. Based on development of subsidies for photovoltaics and production of electricity of new instalations I determine the final amount of costs. Individual outputs are subsequently compared with data regarding the Czech Republic, Spain, Germany, UK, Greece and Slovakia.

The analysis of causes of the youth unemployment (15-24 age class) in European Union in years 2000-2015
Šulai, Michal ; Czesaný, Slavoj (advisor) ; Bartůsková, Lucia (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to analyze main causes of youth unemployment in countries of European Union. In order to assess main determinants of this negative phenomenon, an econometric model based on panel data was constructed. Source dataset, containing mainly Eurostat data, covers EU-28 countries in the 2000-2014 period. Results of a regression inclined that youth unemployment is effected mainly by overall economic development. Youth unemployment is more sensitive for economic downturns than unemployment in an adult age class. The model also suggested that cuts in payroll taxes and deregulation in the minimum wage legislation could have positive effect on youth employment. Based on the literature, reforms toward more practical and effective education system with elements of dual apprenticeship, could be also a positive step in tackling youth unemployment. However, an econometric-based proof of this hypothesis was not found.
