The Importance of drawing funds from PRV Axis IV for development of the chosen region
STASKOVÁ, Jana
As a topic, for my Bachelor thesis was chosen The Importance of drawing funds from PRV Axis IV for development of the chosen region. This thesis is devoted to Rural development program of Czech Republic - focused on the Axis IV. Leader - in the South Bohemia region and specific Local action group. The theoretic part is about the regional policy in genereal, about the goals of EU regional policy, structural funds and Rural Development Program. The main objective of my thesis was to analyze specific conditions for use of Rural Development Program. The selected region was the area around Hluboká - Lišov. These conditions were evaluated on the basis of already approved and financed funds. To achieve this goal, I used the methods of questionnaire and statistical analysis. The evaluated questionnaires showed that there is an interest of the community for the grant funds from Rural Development Program Axis IV Leader. However, it should be noted that in the current programming period for the years 2007 - 2013 there is still a large number of municipalities, that do not have enough information needed for the program, mostly, the municipalities are not the members of LAG or don?t use other grant sources. Another reason, why the municipalities don?t apply for grant funds, is the economical reason. In the conclusion there are some recommendations for solution of issues like how to provide the grant as a deposit, problematics of the next programming period 2014-2020 and so on. In the last part, the attachments connected with this issue can be found.

Export opportunities for Czech companies in the African market
Šesták, Zbyněk ; Šaroch, Stanislav (advisor) ; Bič, Josef (referee)
Czech exporters take a significant place in the domestic economy and influence its performance to a great extent. Exporting opportunities represent an important circle of interests of individual companies as well as of government officials. The officials create primary conditions in which Czech exporters operate. For this reason, the first chapter deals with the Czech foreign business policy in the relation to African states. This chapter of the bachelor thesis describes the development of Czech foreign policy since 1945 and international agreements between the EU/ the Czech Republic and African countries. The next chapters aim at the main point of thesis, which lies in a revelation of export opportunities for Czech companies in the African market. Two methods are used for this revelation. The first method analyzes the territorial and commodity structure of Czech exports and imports of African countries. The next method for determination of perspective markets is the analysis of African countries according to political situation, economic indicators and conditions for exporters. The final results are summarized in the third chapter where the potential areas of export to Africa with the most perspective markets are written down. One part of the thesis is a questionnaire for exporters, too. The questions are related to their business activities in Africa and also how exporters are satisfied with the Czech institutions for export.

Influence of the suburbanization process on demographic development and capacities of education facilities in Pragueʼs hinterland
Benáčková, Kristýna ; Špačková, Petra (advisor) ; Ouředníček, Martin (referee)
The objective of the thesis is to study impacts of suburbanization on demographic development of the hinterland of Prague and on capacities of education facilities in selected municipalities. The paper assesses the approaches taken by representatives of these municipalities to set conditions for provision of school and preschool education to their citizens. The demand for civil amenities gradually increases as a result of population growth and specific age structure changes. Many suburban municipalities thus often face the same problem: low capacities of kindergartens and elementary schools caused by a growing population of children. Most research focused on the approaches of seven case study municipalities from the southeastern hinterland of Prague to the solution of the capacity issues. A policy of respective municipalities differs based on the fact whether or not it runs its own school. However, the lack of capacities of education facilities does not generally force the municipalities to regulate a further housing construction and the expansion of the community.

The impact of the Employment Act, valid since 1st January 2006, on the input of university graduates into Labour Office{\crq}s files in the District of České Budějovice
PETRÍKOVÁ, Vlasta
On the 1st January 2006, Act No. 435/2004 Sb. on employment, which was amended by Act No. 382/2005 Sb., came into force. The objective of the act is protection against unemployment, securing full employment and combating illegal employment. This includes a change of condition for obtaining the claim for unemployment benefits. One of the conditions for obtaining the claim for unemployment benefits is to pay retirement income insurance and the contribution for the national employment policy for the 12 months in the decisive period of the last there years before being put in the files of job applicants. From the 1st Oct. 2004 systematic preparation for one{\crq}s future occupation was not included as substitutive employment period at all. Since the 1st Jan. 2006, systematic preparation for one{\crq}s future occupation has been included as substitutive employment period; however, not more than 6 months may be included for these purposes. To file their claims for benefit, the graduates have to hold, before being put into the files of job applicants, a job that allocates the duty to pay insurance for at least six months over the last three years. The research was conducted by means of a quantitative sociological investigation. The technique used for data collection was an anonymous questionnaire. The research set was made up of students of the last years of the Faculty of Health and Social Studies of the University of South Bohemia and university and college graduates of in the files of job applicants at the Labour Office in České Budějovice. The objective of my thesis was to find out the attitude of students of the Faculty of Health and Social Studies to their possible employment, to compare the obtained data with the answers of university graduates in the file of job applicants at the Labour Office in České Budějovice and to find out the structure of university graduates registered at the Labour Office in České Budějovice, according to the university or college that they graduated from. The objectives of the thesis have been fulfilled. The outcomes of the thesis could be used as an overview of students{\crq} and graduates{\crq} attitude to unemployment and their future employment. These outcomes can be made use of by those who are in charge of the education of these two groups of people. Unemployment in students can optimally be prevented by preventive measures, e.g. by giving due attention to the choice of the branch of study with respect to its use in the labour market, and by providing each individual student with sufficient information.

Changes of the system of social partnership in Austria and its future perspective
Týmová, Slavomíra ; Just, Petr (advisor) ; Jüptner, Petr (referee)
The Austrian social and economic partnership is a specific system of co operation between the major economic interest groups, labour unions and between them and the government. Based on close voluntary co-operation between employers, employees and state (government), it constitutes the specifically Austrian manifestation of the system of reconciling interests and ranks Austria high among scales of corporatism in the relevant literature. What diversify the Austrian social partnership and the Austrian form of corporatism (so called Austro-corporatism) is its coverage - practically all areas of economic and social policy used to come under the social partnership tripartite cooperation. This cooperation of interest groups is mostly informal and is not regulated by law. The social partners are represented by four large representative organisations. On the employees' side these are the Austrian Trade Union Federation (OGB) and the Federal Chamber of Labour (BAK), and on the employers' side the Federal Economic Chamber of Austria (WKO), and the Standing Committee of Presidents of the Chamber of Agriculture (PRAKO). Kovanda, Dominik ; Zeman, Martin (advisor) ; Bartůsková, Lucia (referee)
The aim of this thesis is the analysis of pension systems in the Czech and Slovak Republics. The result of this analysis is the evaluation and comparison of these systems and their functionality for the needs of present and future generations of retired people. In 2016, the second pillar of the pension system in the Czech Republic was cancelled. This pillar was established in 2013. Its creation and existence was deemed unsuccessful. In contrast with the Slovak system where the second pillar operates eleven years and has a large number of participants. Theories of causes of failure of the second pillar in the Czech Republic in the last year came up a lot. The importance of initial conditions of the other pillars in the pension system before the reform was crucial for the success of the new, now canceled that second pillar. The theoretical part of thesis studies social policy, its divisions and implementation. Subsequently there are descriptions of general models of pension systems, their financing methods and possibilities of implementation. The practical part analyzes the historical development and current form of pension systems in the Czech and Slovak Republics. It also describes ways of contribution, profiles of participants, payment options and risks of individual pillars. At the end of the practical part is the comparison of both systems, with projections of possible developments in the future.
