This diploma thesis is focused on employer branding. Most often employer branding is considered to be an application of marketing principles in personnel management. Therefore the aim of this work is to provide a more comprehensive idea of this concept. To comprehend the real meaning of employer branding, its function. To proper describe the most important impacts on its specific form and the relationship with employer brand as well as other phenomena such as organisational culture, identity, marketing. Knowledge of employer branding in a broader context, allows us to better understand that employer branding is important for the organization both in terms of obtaining a sufficient number of new employees, as well as in terms of retaining current employees and enhance their loyalty and commitment. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part describes a more precise definition of employer branding. Further it pays attention to the content of employer branding and its main tools that are used to strengthen the position of the organization as an employer in the market. Workers's adaptation in a small organization

Dissertation deals with an analysis of an adaptation process in a small organization. It handles placing of the adaptation process into a context of human resources activities. Individual areas of the adaptation are specified - working adaptation, social adaptation and adaptation to a company culture. Also aims of the adaptation, factors influencing the process of adaptation in the company, planning and management of the adaptation are specified. The process of adaptation, elements and tools used during creation of the adaptation process are described. The dissertation includes the survey analyzing the process of adaptation in small organizations and describes the specifics identified.

The Diploma thesis is focused on improvement personnel management in PESTAN company. At first is described the theoretical knowledge regards to personnel activities in small and middle companies, which was processed on basis of specialized literature. In the next part I characterized PESTAN company and analyzed its personnel activities. On basis of gained knowledge I determined proposals focused on improving a current situation.

The bachelor thesis is focused on personnel management and its activities in a small enterprise. The thesis is divided into two main parts theoretical frame work and practical part. In the theoretical frame work, several possible terms from the field of personnel management are explained. Personnel activities, which are analysed in the practical part, are described here. At the beginning of the practical part an individual business entity is briefly introduced, including development of its economic activities and the process of employment. Next, it focuses on analysis of personnel management and its activities. In the last part some proposal of changes of personnel management are created.

Personnel activities of a hotel receptionist

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the operation of a hotel reception in a specific hotel in Prague, consequently to raise weaknesses and shortcomings of personnel activities of receptionists and to propose solutions to identified problems. The information needed for the analysis was obtained from a survey among receptionists and from the interview with Front Office manager of hotel Villa Schwaiger. The personnel activities and human resources management are compared with the theory derived from technical literature and journals.

The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis is primarily to analyze selected personnel activities in the small company MSC-REHA, then to evaluate these activities, to identify strong and weak aspects of human resources and finally to suggest any applicable optimization if possible. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the main conceptual apparatus, such as a small company and its characterization, human resources and some selected personnel activities -- employee recruitment, evaluating employees, motivation, benefits and corporate culture. The practical part contains an analysis of specific personnel activities, an evaluation of them, comparison with the theory and employees' and human resources workers' opinions and suggestions of a possible improvement.
Assessment of personnel work in the mining company

The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis is to analyze selected personnel activities in the company Orion Minerals. Furthermore, to evaluate these activities and suggest their optimization. The theoretical part includes basic concepts and description of certain personnel activities. In order to write the theoretical part I used technical literature and my own knowledge gained by studying at university. The practical part describes how personnel activities are under way in the company. Required information has been identified on the basis of interviews with the management and personnel manager, studying internal documents and observation the personnel officers' work during my practical work. In the final part of the thesis I described the advantages and disadvantages of the company from my point of view, then a number of recommendations were suggested. Also were compared ascertained facts with theoretical knowledge.
