Hiekischová, Michaela ; Veselý, Arnošt (advisor) ; Kotrusová, Miriam (referee)
The thesis "The Policy with an emphasis to reduce the long-term unemployment of people with primary education in selected region - Ústecko" deals with the labour market and educational system within the local level. The current labour demand prefers workers with qualification, expert knowledges and skills. Therefore, the possibilities of people with primary education to find a job are decreasing. Regarding these facts, people with low qualification are threatened by long-term unemployment. Contemporary services of state employment policy in Ústí nad Labem do not focus on people with primary education. As well as the educational system within this region is deficient. Despite the fact that some applicants for a job are not motivated enough or willing to study, the education system is not flexible and thus, applicants have only limited opportunities for further education and for receiving vocational certificates or graduation diplomas. According to above mentioned facts, this thesis deals with an educational policy as fundamental element for prevention of the long-term unemployment of people with primary education. In subsequent chapters, thesis focuses on employment policy, especially its active forms and instruments. Conclusion contains offered recommendations, which are aimed to reduce the long-term...

Dvořáková, Kateřina ; Svěcená, Kateřina (referee) ; Stančáková, Zuzana (advisor)
The main idea of rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary team collaboration. In my bachelor thesis I tried to highlight the team work of the clinical speech therapist and an occupational therapist in people with language disorders. The main objective was to determine how clo-sely these two professionals work and what is important for a person with aphasia. The re-search within the practical part was carry out by a questionnaire that I sent to clinical spe-ech therapists and occupational therapists in various workplaces. Respondents to the ques-tionnaire often mentioned that the work of speech therapist and occupational therapist blends in some situations. However, it does not mean, they do the same tasks. Both disci-pline look at the issue from their own angle, thus ensuring comprehensive care. The result of quantitative research clearly show the fact that in people with impaired communication is cooperation speech therapist and an occupational therapist beneficial, but in many cases is not the ideal level. The end of the thesis highlights the importance of teamwork.

Czech Republic, like other European developed countries, has to deal with impacts of population ageing. The number of older people in society grows therefore the drain on workers in productive age is rising. Population ageing causes problems within current setting of the Czech pension system, especially in long-term sustainability of public finance. Hence added involvement of elderly people into working process becomes necessary. The goal of this Masters thesis is to analyse the situation of older workers on Czech labour market between 2005 and 2015 and to find some possible solutions that would increase the employment rate of people before and in retirement age. There are four chapters in the theoretical part that are dealing with population ageing, labour market, specificities of employing older workers and tools used to increase the employment rate. The practical part is focused on demographic situation in the Czech Republic and especially on analysis of the situation of older workers on the Czech labour market in comparison to countries of the European Union. Analysis that was carried out confirms that the overall employment rate of older workers in the Czech Republic is on a good level however there are some areas that need to be improved. For example, option of using part time working contracts is underused as well as the motivation of elderly people to stay economically active. In the last chapter there are possible solutions suggested. These recommendations could strengthen motivation of older workers to stay on labour market and in the same time should motivate employers to employ these workers.
