The Position of Sport Manager

Who is a sport manager? What is different in his or her work with regards to each other managers? Both questions are answered in this thesis. This bachelor's thesis mentioned basic information overview about the sport manager's role as it. In theoretical part of the thesis is introduced which area is typical for the sport managers, which activities must be done and which roles or actions sport managers have. Practical part is based on a comparison between theoretical premises of study courses of universities like Sport Management and the practice experiences. Research is made thru questionaries' investigations with the sport clubs managers. This thesis in final part describes sport manager's position. Result is comparison if the theoretical qualities provided by universities corresponded with the sport managers' work.

Sponsorship in the Sports Industry

This thesis deals with sponsorship in the sports industry.The theoretical part is focused on the notion of sponsorship and everything such as sponsorship is concerned. Another part of the work is focused on sports sponsorship and last but not least, the theoretical part of sponsorship deals in football. In the practical part we findre search that deals with sponsorship in the lower football competitions, namely the two clubs of Podebrady. Research is conducted in the form of a conversation between members and a questionnaire among fans of the club.The result of this research has brought the importance of sponsorship in clubs and also the use of these fundsin the club.

Marketing Communications of a selected Sporting Organization

This bachelor thesis is focused on marketing communication in specific sport organization. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of marketing communication and its position in the general marketing. The practical part deals with the application of marketing communication tools to premier league football club, which are analyzed from the fans point of view and the club's view. The goal of this thesis is based on a qualitative investigation to determine how effectively is the club able to communicate with their fans, what tools it uses and what is the response of the fans.

Jews Society in Czechoslowakia Between 1919 - 1939 with focus in Bratislava

Author of the thesis focuses on the Jewish associations and organizations in Slovakia, particularly Bratislava, in the period 1919 to 1939. Jewish associations existed already in Austria-Hungary. In 1867, resulting from the approval of the Austrian constitution in February 1861, a federal law was adopted that developed and clarified some of the general constitutional principles. In Hungary, after the Austria - Hungarian Settlement, Law of 2 May 1875 No 1508/1875 was in force - with minor adjustments - until the end of 1951. Activities of Jewish societies further developed during the first Czechoslovak Republic. The majority of societies existed in Prague, Brno and Bratislava. Being university cities, their activities attracted number of students, particularly lawyers and medics. The volume of voluntary activities multiplied during 1920's. Bratislava had registered 676 organization and societies in 1931, which was nearly tenfold compared to 1900. In years 1919 - 1939 there were about 30 to 40 Jewish associations in the city. Název práce: Vliv sportovního úspěchu na finanční situaci fotbalového klubu Title of work: Influence of sport success on financial situation of football club Cíl práce: Hlavním cílem práce je analýza vlivu sportovního úspěchu na finanční situaci v klubu. Přesněji pak analýza vlivu sportovních úspěchů resp. neúspěchů na přijmy a výdaje klubu, a to jak v krátkém období, tak i v dlouhodobějším horizontu několika sezón. Analýza se týmu I. Gambrinus ligy SK Sigma Olomouc, pro názornější náhled na věc pak i porovnání s předními evropskými velkokluby. Metody: Použití hloubkových rozhovorů, resp. interview s představiteli fotbalového klubu. Využití odborné literatury a interních materiálů klubu. Použití SWOT analýzy pro zhodnocení marketingové a obchodní činnosti klubu. Výsledky: Objasňují vliv sportovního úspěchu na výši příjmů a výdajů klubu. Ukazují stěžejní činnosti klubu přinášející rozhodující část finančních prostředků do klubu. Popisují rozdíly v českém fotbalovém prostředí a prostředí vyspělých fotbalových zemí západní Evropy. Pozornost byla věnována teoretickému vysvětlení lidské agresivity související se sportovní podívanou. V praktické části byly pomocí dotazníků zkoumány převážně projevy verbální agrese u celého diváckého spektra klubu. Zvláštní část patřila výzkumu specifické divácké skupiny, označovanou pojmem hooligans, výzkum fyzické agrese, názorů a postojů příznačných pro tuto skupinu. Pro úplný přehled v dané oblasti jsem dále věnoval prostor popisu historie českého chuligánství a nástinu prevence klubů a státních institucí proti násilí na fotbalových stadionech v České republice. Title: The History of the Sokol Club I. Smíchov Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with history of Sokol Club I. Smíchov since its establishment till year 1940. The aim of this thesis is not only to describe its history and activities but also shortly give account of Sokol Club. The part of thesis attends to history of the town of Smíchov which is definitely connected with Sokol Club Smíchov. The thesis called "The history of the Sokol Club I. Smíchov" is based on research on historical sources and literature. Mostly I insisted on archival documents from The National Museum, The Collection of Physical Education and Sport and on archival documents of Sokol Club I. Smíchov. From literature I used publications about history of the town of Smíchov and about history and persons of consequence of the Sokol Club. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part is divided into an introduction and an analysis of archival documents, literature and working methods. Marketing communication of a chosen sport club

Sport is a field where large financial means are handled and where marketing is becoming more and more important on the way to success. This work is describing, assessing and offering recommendations with regard to the marketing communication of the biggest Czech hockey club; HC Sparta Praha. According to the research, which was made in the form of questionnaire, the author is describing the marketing communication of HC Sparta Praha as mainly effective with a space for improvement. Apart from that, as the secondary aim of the work, the target group for the marketing communication of the club is defined on the basis of demography. As far as the theoretical knowledge is concerned, the work is summarizing marketing theory with accent on the communication and the environment of sport. In the theoretical part, the author is working with publications of authors such as Karlček, Čáslavová or Pitts and the analytical part is mainly based on the information provided by an official of the club; mr. Jan Rachota.
