The influence of reducing agent on silver nanoparticles granumetric parameters
Šomodíková, Iva ; Dittrich, Milan (advisor) ; Šnejdrová, Eva (referee)
We report an experimental evidence of a process of silver particles preparation by the Tollens reduction method. Natural non toxic reducing agents, such as various starches and flavonoid plant extracts were used. As the most efficient reducing agents amaranth starch and Paulinia cupana extract were choosen for the following study. The use of starches alone leads to highly polydisperse systems. The mixing of starches with Paulinia cupana extract results in silver nanoparticles with good size-mean and size-distribution parameters. The nucleation and growth phase of the particle preparation process were improved by the microwave irradiation. The synergy of intensified molecular movement in the water phase and the similar and more thermal accented process in the newly formed metal nanoparticles were exploited. This preparation method evidently leads to the higher quality systems usable as biocompatible antimicrobials and preservatives.

Mesophyll CO2 conductance in consequence with the leaf anatomy and environmental factors.
Malcová, Kateřina ; Lhotáková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Nátr, Lubomír (referee)
The CO2 diffusion pathway from the atmosphere surrounding the leaf to the chloroplast stroma is composed of several parts, where each part poses certain resistance to the CO2 flux. The CO2 diffusion from the sub-stomatal cavities to the stroma is limited due to mesophyll conductance (gm), which includes CO2 movement in gas, liquid and lipid phases. The mesophyll conductance is influenced by factors that are both internal (e.g. leaf anatomy and leaf age) and external (e.g. irradiance, temperature). Internal factors exhibit rather long-term responses of gm, while external factors are involved in short-term changes. For these rapid changes are probably responsible aquaporins. gm significantly influences the rate of net photosynthesis, almost in the same range as a stomatal conductance does. The limitation of photosynthesis given by mesophyll conductance is not fixed and varies among species and plant functional groups. Due to continual increase of CO2 concentration in the atmosphere, variability in gm can lead to enhanced competitive potencial of some plant species.

Off-road four-wheel motorcycle for seniors
Mihálik, Boris ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Brandejs, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and realization of function pattern of off-road four-wheel vehicle for seniors. First part of the work consist of research of current commercial vehicles for the elderly, as well as small four-wheeled off-road vehicles and their individual design elements. In this part of the work were also dismantled the proposed legislation allowing legal movement of vehicles on public roads and seniors ergonomics. Another section dealt with the proposal of possible variants for solving the essential structural elements of the vehicle. The last major parts of the work deals with detail description of each selected construction elements of the vehicle. Functional pattern has been manufactured and tested. At the end of this work were published the results of testing of the vehicle and also were proposed possible changes of design.

Swiss migration policy and its impact on the inflow of German labor force
Farkašová, Anna ; Dubský, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Kuchařová, Alžběta (referee)
Unique combination of economic and social stability has been attracting foreigners from all over the world to live in Switzerland for years. It was mainly foreign labor force that helped the domestic economy grow and once a land of emigration, Switzerland now has one of the highest rates of alien citizens. The paper discusses how Switzerland regulated the inflow of foreign workers through its migration policy and what consequences it carried concerning the inflow of labor migration from neighbouring countries, especially from Germany. The author analyses the migration policy, the structure of german immigrants in Switzerland and mainly how it evolved after signing the Free movement of persons with European Union.

Present Trade Policy of the European Union
Dalecký, Jan ; Jeníček, Vladimír (advisor) ; Musiyenko, Svitlana (referee)
The purpose of my bachelor's thesis is to appraise and describe present trade policy (PTP) of the European Union. Moreover there are cleared up all the principles of operating of institutions, rules and regulations that are part of the PTP. The first charter is about history of European Community and other institutions which are connected to PTP. The second charter is describing in detail intra-EU trade and four fundamental freedoms that form the trade. These freedoms are: free movement of goods, services, persons and capital. The third charter is occupied with business relations with third countries and preferential agreements concluded with them. The last chapter is about Czech Republic and changes which are connected to EU accession and PTP. Conclusion contains all the information and facts, which are summarized and described the consequences of the present trade policy.

Effect of hippotherapy at clients with sclerosis multiplex
Hrbasová, Hana ; Leontovyčová, Jana (advisor) ; Dvořáčková, Hana (referee)
Hipotherapy is a complex therapy, broaden and recently very sought after rehabilitation method, which is being more and more recognized by experts for its broaden scene. It is a complex therapy thanks to involving medicine, psychology, pedagogy and also a social sphere. That's why is this method indicated at many different levels of disablement. It's being used with pacients with children's cerebral palsy, diverse level of cerebral dysfunction and multiple sclerosis. And it's the therapy's effect on multiple sclerosis that this thesis paper discusses. It also applies to brain and spinal traumas, scoliosis, back pain, orthopedic defects, cardiovascular disease, degenerative muscle disease, obesity, as well as it provides help at emotional and mental aspect, e.g. children with behavioral disorders and many others. At hipotherapy is being used a three dimensional (multidimensional) horse motion. Horse's spine moves up - down, forward - backward, right - left. Imitating a mechanisms of human walking, which leads to relaxation of spasticity. Impulses are transmitted onto back which brings interaction of impeller and back muscles, stand up pose, and posture interference. All this brings a walking improvements, movements coordination, balance and consolidation of a flabby muscles. Each horse has a different nature...
