Utilizing RELAX NG Schemas in XML Editors
Schmied, Martin ; Kosek, Jiří (advisor) ; Nič, Miloslav (referee)
This thesis explores the possibilities of utilizing RELAX NG schemata in the process of editing XML documents. The ultimate goal of this thesis is to prototype a system supporting user while editing XML document with bound RELAX NG schema inside the Eclipse IDE. Such a system comprises two major components -- an integration of RELAX NG validator and an autocompletion engine. Design of the autocompletion engine represents the main contribution of this thesis, because similar systems are almost exclusively implemented in closed-source commercial editors as of 2009. The first chapter is a brief introduction into XML while emphasizing XML schema languages. A comparison is of three major schema languages -- DTD, W3C XML Schema and RELAX NG. Furthermore, options of exploiting information from schema by the XML editor are discussed. In the end of the chapter an overview of basic RELAX NG patterns used throughout this thesis is given. The second chapter describes implementation of the autocompletion engine. It reasons about appropriate in-memory representation of the XML documents and RELAX NG schemas and presents basic principles of pattern-inference for individual elements. The main output of the chapter is an algorithm proposal for generating possible completions based on given XML document nodes and RELAX NG schema of the document. The goal of the final third chapter is integrating RELAX NG validator and the autocompletion engine inside the Eclipse IDE. It starts by describing two basic aspects of Eclipse Platform -- the OSGi Service Platform dynamic module system and the extension point mechanism. Then the implementation of individual plug-ins and their integration with existing XML editing infrastructure is described.

1 Abstrakt: This thesis has focused on customer satisfaction. Mainly there are described the attributes that significantly influence the satisfaction. The research is based on service quality of mobile phone operators in Czech Republic. The first part describes the relevant theories in psychology field about satisfaction in different context - life satisfaction, job satisfaction and mainly customer satisfaction. There is mentioned the problem with definition inconsistency among authors and then is provided details about service quality theories and customer satisfaction attributes categorization. Finally there is chapter that concerns about the difference between derived and stated importance of attributes. The research object are the customers that use mobile phone services from three main operators in Czech Republic. The output is derived importance of the attributes which is calculated by multiply regression.

MongoDB as a Datastore for Google App Engine SDK
Heller, Stanislav ; Zendulka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Volf, Tomáš (advisor)
In this thesis, there are discussed use-cases of NoSQL database MongoDB implemented as a datastore for user data, which is stored by Datastore stubs in Google App Engine SDK. Existing stubs are not very well optimized for higher load; they significantly slow down application development and testing if there is a need to store larger data sets in these storages. The analysis is focused on features of MongoDB, Google App Engine NoSQL Datastore and interfaces for data manipulation in SDK - Datastore Service Stub API. As a result, there was designed and implemented new datastore stub, which is supposed to solve problems of existing stubs. New stub uses MongoDB as a database layer for storing testing data and it is fully integrated into Google App Engine SDK.

Almabrok, Almabrok Abdoalhade ; Dvorský, Emil (referee) ; Santarius, Pavel (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
Rostoucí světová poptávka po méně efektivních zdrojích energie vede ke zvýšení zájmu o kogenerační technologie v sektoru domácností. Pomocí této technologie lze významně snižovat množství znečišťujících látek emitovaných při výrobě elektřiny a tepla pro domácnosti. Kogenerační systémy v sektoru domácností nabízí možnost produkce jak užitného tepla a elektřiny z jednoho zdroje paliva, např. motorové nafty či zemního plynu.

Prediction of slow crack growth in polymer pressure pipes
Luky, Robin ; Knésl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hutař, Pavel (advisor)
A new methodology of polymer pipe lifetime estimation taking into account residual stresses is described in this thesis. Engineering equations derived based on numerical simulations of a hydrostatic pressure test are proposed. Residual lifetime calculations were performed for different loading conditions using experimental data of a creep crack propagation in studied material and stress distribution in the pipe wall. The effects which significantly influence lifetime estimation were quantified with special focus on residual stresses.

How the Members of Parliament Are Getting Green? Factors Influencing Environmental Policy.
Skalík, Jan ; Vinopal, Jiří (advisor) ; Buriánek, Jiří (referee)
HOW THE MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT ARE GETTING GREEN? Factors Influencing Environmental Policy. Jan Skalík Abstract In the new millennium the Chamber of Deputies has been significantly less supportive towards environmental protection than it was in the 1990s. It has been proved by the analysis of 156 votes concerning the environment in the period 1994 - 2010. Unequivocally, the strongest and the most influential factor in terms of the impact on the other characteristics and the environmental benefits is to which Parliamentary Club the deputy belongs. From the comparison of voting patterns of the Green Party (SZ) and Civic Democratic Party (ODS) it is possible to demonstrate why the environmental legislation is supported mostly by women and MPs from Moravian districts. Generally it could be said that growing political success in the parliamentary right-wing parties is linked to less favourable voting for the environment. However, among centrist and left wing parties this is different: proenvironmental voting is connected to success in the Chamber. MPs who vote pro- environmentally are often older and were elected to the Chamber earlier. While a degree in engineering correlates with an unenthusiastic relationship to the environment, a degree in the humanities is often related to its protection. If an MP is...

Modeling the impact of small water reservoirs on flood events
Taufmannová, Alice
This paper deals with evaluating the impact of small reservoirs on flood events. The system of small reservoirs represents an effective part of integrated flood protection in the Czech Republic. Its realisation does not require a drastic impact on the environment. The small reservoirs could influence significantly the decrease of flood flows in the mountain catchments. Four small potential uncontrolled reservoirs were implemented to the headwater part of the Rolava river basin (126 km2 ) in the Ore Mountains. The relief of the Rolava river basin is heterogeneous with the upper headwater part characterised as flat plain and the middle part of the river flowing through a steep valley. The only option of the river to be flooded out during the extreme floods could appear in the lower part of the river basin. The Rainfall-runoff modeling was carried out in the model HEC-HMS (Hydrologic Engineering Center - Hydrologic Modeling System). The advantages of the model are its freeware availability, good arrangement and connection with GIS. The basin model of Rolava was calibrated using the known flood event in September 2007. The verification of the basin model ran on flood event in August 2006. The value of the efficiency criterion between the simulated and measured hydrograph was 0,86 and 0,89, which means...
