Corporate education in the sphere of communicability and cooperation (project of research - the primary theoretical bases)
Nováková, Martina ; Kopecký, Martin (referee) ; Reichel, Jiří (advisor)
This undergraduate thesis covers proposal for research of corporate education of employees in the communication and cooperation areas. It presents basic theories for quantitative research in the given area. First, fundamental terms, such as corporate education, key qualifications, communication and cooperation are defined. The research proposition is defined as a relationship between corporate education, the size of the company and other corporal parameters. The hypothesis of the work assumes that bigger companies put more emphasis on educating their employees in specified areas, into which they invest more heavily. They also provide more intense education than companies of smaller size. It is also expected that more detailed evaluation of education results means that a company will be willing to make larger investment into further education. This proposal proposes a way of choosing sample companies. A technique for data gathering and questionnaire is also suggested. It includes selected criteria, questions and categories. The data analysis procedure is outlined as well. Conclusion summarizes results the author arrived at and includes recommendations for possible implementation of the proposed research.

Population ageing and its consequences on development of social policy in Kazakhstan
Kumarbekova, Gulzana ; Kalibová, Květa (referee) ; Pavlík, Zdeněk (advisor)
Population ageing and its consequences on development of social policy in Kazakhstan Gulzana Kumarbekova Abstract Population ageing is a social process which represents one of the most important changes in the population development in the 20th and 21st centuries. The intensity, timing and speed of this process have been varying throughout history; reaching its highest peak in contemporary societies. The population ageing process is particularly evident in countries that have finalized the process of demographic revolution, i.e. developed countries. Population ageing is a serious concern in these countries as ageing is already well spread and continues to do so, posing significant challenges to the economy of pension schemes and social policy. The present study (master dissertation) describes the interdependence between this process and the development of social policy in Kazakhstan. According to population forecasts, rapid population ageing is expected in Kazakhstan as decreased birth rates will inevitably result in changes in the age structure. Keywords: population, ageing, Kazakhstan, social policy. Старение населения - это социальный процесс, который представляет собой один из наиболее важных изменений в развитии населения в 20-м и 21-м веках. В течение всей истории интенсивность, сроки и скорость...

Soukupová, Kamila ; Dohnalová, Marie (advisor) ; Moree, Dana (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe the system of cooperation between the NGOs and Prague 7 City district on the field of providing the services of anti-drug prevention. In September 2008, the pilot project of Prague centre of primary prevention was starteed. If the project is successfully realised , it is expected, hat the cooperation between the NGOs and particular Prague city districts will be systematized. Firstly , the thesis briefly introduces the activities and the status of two workers, who are responsible for for the collabaration with the NGOs, that provide the preventional activities. These workers are: the school methodist of drug prevention and the anti-drugs coordinator. Then the attention is paid to thier "anchorage" within the scheme of anti-drugs politics in the Czech Republic and their relationship with the NGOs. The following part of the thesis is devoted to the process of the certification, that is an important instrument for the NGOs to get the money from the state budget. One of the chapters deals with the laws, strategical and methodical documents, that refer to the implementation of the anti-drugs prevention. I chose two organizations to make a survey with them. These organizations provide almost identical services in the Prague 7 area. I made the interview with the...

The concept, types and modes of awarding public procurement contract
Holík, Martin ; Plíva, Stanislav (advisor) ; Horáček, Vít (referee)
11. SUMMARY Public procurement contracting in the Czech Republic is carried out according to the Act on public procurement. Contracting authorities of public procurements are entities of public law (state, region, municipality or another legal person of public law) as well as private persons if they order contracts paid by a public contracting authority at least by one half (that means subsidised contracting authorities) or carry out the so-called relevant activity (that means sector contracting authorities). The Act on public procurement regulates the actual contracting as well as supervision above contracting. Contracting is one of six types of contracting process. It is about a pre-contracting process that must be kept before entering into a contract by each entity, which is a contracting authority of public procurement. Supervision above contracting is done by the Office for the Protection of Competition. We divide public procurements according to the subject of fulfilment and also according to the expected value. If it is according to the subject of fulfilment, these are public procurements above the limit, under the limit and small scope ones. If it is according to the expected value, these are public procurements for services, supplies and construction works. Public procurements are paid from public...

REFORM OF THE TAX AND SOCIAL SYSTEM IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC IN 2007 AND ITS IMPACTS
Chmelová, Pavla ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Vebrová, Ludmila (referee)
The bachelor thesis will deal with the partial reforms of public finance in the Czech republic pursued in 2007. I chose this topic because of its currentness and because during the economic crisis reforms are more important. Theoretical part will generally describe the public finance issue, its revenues and expenditures and the budget deficit emerging as a result of their divergence. There will be stated the different views of the economic theories on the budget deficit as well. The next part will deal with the tax theories. The last theoretical base will be the public choice theory, which explains the behaviour of the politicans and the voters. The analytical part will be brought up with the state of the public finance in the Czech republic before the implementation of the reforms, there will be analyzed revenues and expenditures of the public budget and the dimension of its deficit. Then there will be examined constituent partial reforms in the tax and social realm and the state of the public finance after the reform. The aim of the thesis is the analysis of the reasons that called for the reform of the public finance in the Czech republic working on the analysis of the state of the public finance before the reforms and sum up whether the expected outcome was accomplished. There will be analyzed the impacts on the taxpayers, the simplification of the tax system and the employment.

Expected value of information in stochastic programming
Čížková, Jitka
Stochastic problems (both two-stage and multistage) can be formulated in several di erent ways which utilize to various extent available information on a future realization of incorporated random parameters. When comparing optimal objective function values resulting from di erent formulations of the given problem with the same available information, we obtain a value of using one of these formulations rather than the other one (e.g., VSS). Level of the available information can be changed by a partial or full relaxation of nonanticipativity constraints, which assure that a present decision is independent of future (unknown) realizations of random parameters. By comparing optimal objective function values gained when solving the given problem with distinct levels of available information we obtain (expected) value of partial or perfect information. In this work we present de nitions of various information value types and related values connected with the problem formulation and we derive their properties (nonnegativity, bounds). In the last part we introduce their summary classi cation.

Expresionistic Elements in the Works of Jewish Authors (Hermann Ungar, Ernst Weiß, Ludwig Winder) in Connection with Czech Culture of 1st half of 20th Century.
ŘEZÁČ, Jiří
The research in this bachelor thesis is focused on belles lettres work of three Jewish writers who were of Czech background and were writing in German (Hermann Ungar, Ernst Weiss, Ludwig Winder). It is mainly an analysis of representation of Czech environment, culture and language in their work. The key question of this thesis is the relation of writers to discussions that are represented in their work. In the thesis research there is also an analysis of authors?relation to a period of expressionism and its specific implementation.

The Pilgrimage Chapel on Skalka near Mníšek pod Brdy
Urbánková, Zuzana ; Royt, Jan (advisor) ; Oulíková, Petra (referee)
89 10 ANGLICKÁ ANOTACE In the Hřebeny mountain chain near Mníšek pod Brdy, you will find the pilgrimage site Skalka. The first building to be erected on Skalka was the Church of St. Mary Magdalene built from 1692 to 1693 and designed by the outstanding baroque architect Kryštof Dientzenhofer. In the same time, the monastery and a hermitage were completed also by Kryštof Dientzenhofer. These buildings and also farm buildings were built by the founder Servác Ignác Engel from Engelfluss to serve Benedictine monks, but they never came. Half a century later, in the years 1755-1762, countess Čejková had fourteen small chapels - the Stations of the Cross - built between the church and the hermitage and invited Franciscans from Prague monastery. They left Skalka at the begining of 20. century and in the second half of 20. century was pilgrimage site Skalka waste and desolated by iron-stone mining under the church. Today are these historical monuments repaired. The church (/chapel) of St. Mary Magdalene is established on oval horizontal projection and was decorated by artifical stalactites as grotto (cave). On high altar was statue of St. Mary Magdalene and in side niches statues of four eremits. Above high altar was a group of annunciation. All the statues were from Jan Jiří Bendl's work. Key words: Baroque, Church...

Economist Frantisek Ladislav Chleborad
Golasovský, Leoš ; Krameš, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Džbánková, Zuzana (referee)
This thesis is concerned with Frantisek Ladislav Chleborad, Czech economic thinker who did not recieve as much attention as he deserved. Chief aim of this thesis is to describe the situation in which beginning Czech economic thinking took place. Chleborad, as one of its first actors, has his thoughts in this thesis described in detail. This has never been done before because Chleborad and especially his engagement in creating of cooperatives in 19th century, that failed, resulted in creating many enemies. Czech economists that came after Chleborad knew him but they would deny it. Information that are available about Chleborad and his teachings are limited. I tried to fill that gap.
