The main aim of diploma thesis, which called Influence of stress on work performance in selected companies, is to explore stress factors in the workplace and their influence on work performance. In the theoretical part of this thesis were summarized issues of stress, symptoms of stress, stress and healthy, types of stressors, stress factors in the workplace, stress management, work performance and pathological situations in the workplace, such as bossing, mobbing and sexual harassment.
Sales promotion in selected retail unit

The aim of the thesis is a research focused on the current forms of sales promotion. The theoretical part is dedicated to the study of theoretical knowledge. There is described a brick-and-mortar store (a typical stone shop), its history, meaning, structure and function. There is described marketing communication communication process and the individual tools such as advertising, sales promotion, personal sale, public relations and direct marketing. Sales promotion includes for example coupons, product samples, cost-effective packing, consumer's competitions, tasting etc. and supports shopping consumer behaviour, especially for a short time. At the same time the practise field research is realized in the local commercial unit BILLA. Through the questionnaire survey, the customers in the retail unit are asked personally. Finally, it is evaluated the research from the point of consumer protection view and the results are assessed.
Market position of a private label

The main aim of this bachelor thesis with the theme Market position of a private label is to define the recommendation of private labels development in selected retail trade. The partial aims are focused on introducing range of private labels and finding out their market position. The theoretical part rests on studying of literature and the practical parts described the offer of the private labels of selected retail trade and realization of quantitative marketing research through a questionnaire survey. The result of this bachelor thesis is the draft recommendation for development of the private labels.
Analysis of the competitiveness of OVB Allfinanz, a.s.

The goal of my work is to analyze the market position selected company and suggest improvement in its market position and to analyze its competitive environment. I chose the company OVB Allfinanz a.s., which operates on the Czech market for 44 years. My work consists of two parts. The first part describes the theoretical knowledge concerning strategic management and analysis, explanation of terms of competition, competitiveness and other related terms such as: generic competitive strategies, SWOT analysis and Porter's model of competitive forces. In the second part I will focus on the SWOT analysis and Porter model. I also focused on the analysis of competitors in the field of insurance brokers. The results are based on information obtained from the questionnaire survey. I also used the method of controlled interviews with successful regional group leader ProfiFP and thus I gained not only credible information about the company, but I could use my experience, when I am working for OVB. From the obtained data I proposed possible improvements for company .
Slow Food and its potential in the Czech Republic

The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the potential for the further market expansion of Slow Food in the Czech Republic through the analysis of the market conditions of gastronomy and the analysis of the present and of the future services in the field of Slow Food. The literature review provides theoretical insight into the issues. Following parts are situation analysis of Slow Food in the Czech Republic and presentation of results of quantitative and qualitative research. The suggestions made reflect the above mentioned facts for extension of Slow Food.

The thesis is focused on service management in the Pension Na louži. The aim was to analyze the services provided by Pension and found out the market conditions. The theoretical part describes services, their characteristics and properties. It also deals with the description of tourism marketing and defines important terms related to accommodation services, as well as Yield and Revenue management. The practical part deals with the determination of the economic position of the company. In this part was used mainly statistics and own calculations, graphs and tables, and data collected from a questionnaire survey among customers, employees and the owner of the Pension. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey and hospitality trends author created proposals.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is an analysis of customer's service satisfaction of chosen restaurant institution. In the first part of bachelor thesis there are defined the basic terms from the sphere of services, marketing and marketing research. In the practical part there is described the chosen restaurant. There is realized the analysis of customer's satisfaction with a questionnaire survey. Obtained information is adapted on charts. And some possible improvements are proposed.
